Nearly a dozen scourges fly low over the sea, just high enough to clear the whitecaps. They are tiny, merely armored men strapped to gravitic wings; many carry heavy weapons wtih which to defend themselves... but for this mission, they require stealth and speed. They scout the shore as long as they dare to avoid notice before moving inland, taking care to avoid cities, roads, and other clusters of civillization

After your request, our nation, too, has been going on high alert. All (100,000) active aircraft patrolers (Raptor F-15s, Steath Attacker-16s, Supersonics) and the reserve 500,000 are ready to be dispatched. 2nd Air Reserve will be used further noticed.

All Space Fleets (6 Fleets) will be ready to launch back to earth with a amount of 500,000 Space Troops. All Nuclear Defenses are ready to fire. 10,000 Destroyers are surrounding the areas where Mighty Mountains are making contact with sea. All Anti-Air and Anti-Tank defenses are hooked up and ready to be used.

700,000 Mighty Guards hide in the mountains await for the enemy.

The Leader was at his desk, his face hiden by the dark cloak he chose to obscure himself with. He was busily signing away at various orders, he was at war you know.
An underling burst through the door.

"Great Leader, we have noticed various anomalies in our radar system. The anomalies seem to be happening primarily along the North side of the island where there is little and few people."

The Leader glanced up from his redtape.

"Yes, keep an eye on it, if any of these anomalies approach the cities or the South side of the island, terminate them by whatever means are available. Soon, a large Padmasan Force will arrive and we will be safe when they do.

The underling snapped his heels, gave a salute of two arms in the air as if to embrace and marched out. The door shut. The Leader resumed his paperwork.

Hattia condemns this act of aggression even though the attacked nation is made up of facist pigs.

OOC: Can I get some stats here? As my men have set up defeneses near the capital I need to know if I could detect/ kill off these drones.

Do they give off radio/laser emissions? What kind of heat signatures do they have?

How large are they?

OOC Oh theyre about the size of a small Stingray (the ones that live in the water, also called Manta Rays i think), roundish, with a long tail. THeir diameters are about a meter and a half, their lengths about two and a half meters, and they give off low heat emissions in stealth mode (your men may have detected them before, as they were crossing into your country) but they are quite loud, about the sound of a lawnmower unless compensated for by firing up the sound maskers (which in turn, generate more heat) so we traded heat emissions for sound emissions.

And they ahve a radar cross section of a large bird. they have lower radio emissions, but your best bet of detecting would be optical and acoustically; you could probably hit them with AA fire, as they cant moveso fast in Stealth mode. Or you could try a man portable system, but anything larger wont work very well, as they are harder to hit, due to their smaller size.

IC: Over the capital Gunboat 336 was slowly patroling... the crew had long since given up hope of an enemy contact...

"Man, why the hell do we even have to do this? Don't they have AA batteries down there?"

"I don't know simmons. Just keep watching the computer and praying"

The dropship banked again and a red light flashed above Simmons' console.

"Contact, small object. The comp picked it up with sonic scans."

"It's not one of ours... Open fire!"

*Along the flank of the dropship two chainguns swivled slowly toward the object the computer had picked up. Tracer fire lanced toward the thing.*

"Command, we've got something in the air, not allied. It seemed to be reconing the capital. Possible other contacts at major cities, more here."

The scourges set down on the northern beaches of the islands, taking some small time to regroup. They begin to move south slowly, carefully avoiding what population centers exist in the north.

"Overlord," Lord of Intelligence Walek Steelblood greeted his older brother, bowing low. "Our sources indicate that the airspace of New Fascism has been violated, most probably by the rogue nation of Manmen."

"Yes, I suspected that this would happen," the Overlord stated. "They may attempt to strike at us as well, so we must be cautious. I want patrols doubled and satellites to shift orbit to run scans over our land for anything out of the usual. Also, tighten the borders. We won't give them the chance to slip any terrorists in that way. Furthermore, if there are any citizens of Manmen currently in Wretchengard, I want them tracked down and detained."

"It will be done," the Lord of Intelligence nodded, and turned to leave.

"And Walek..." the Overlord called. "Make sure that this is all carried out as discreetly as possible. We don't want to cause a big fuss."

"But of course, brother," the younger Steelblood grinned, looking back. "I would not have it any other way..."

With that, the Overlord walked over to the elevator that would carry him deep beneath the palace, to his war room. There was planning yet to do.

Vincent Altobello had been lounging somewhat sleepily at his desk, in his small private office adjacent to the Rioneran throne room. He had listened while his Advisor Michael Somma give his report on the tensions between Manmen and New Facism. When Somma reached the final few sentences, King Altobello woke up completely and sat up.

"What in the holy hell are you talking about? I mean, I'm sure that this has happened, but I can't see what would drive a nation to do something like this," he stated rather angrily. "It's already been made clear that Ardan nations were backing New Facism. The last semi-successful aggression towards Arda needed a coalition of 40 plus nations."

"And even they couldn't do too awfully much," added Somma.

"I heard all about it from my father," King Vincent said. "Anyway, we already have men patrolling Wretchengard's borders, correct?" When Somma nodded yes, he continued. "Keep them there. Send more, perhaps, depending on the seriousness of the situation. I don't want one bastard Manmenian soldier setting foot in Arda."

i forgot to mention that im a space technation... but if u guys dont want me to, then i wont use my space tech. in any case, i wont use overwhelming space tech, like SUPERORTILLERY so dont worry.

The Heavenly Archer fired thrusters in high orbit, keeping a position over New Facism. For now, there were no hostile movements-no charging of the pulse cannons, no pwering up of the disruptor array, no targeting locks and gunnery data inputs-juss the normal fighter screen of about twelve or so Zulu Vektor Atmospheric-Interplanetary fighters, small sleek superiority craft that could travel well in space and atmosphere, although more so in space.

A swift cruiser, Heavenly Archer was the newest cruiser in the fleet, a drastically different step from the previous swift cruisers, the Sekhmet (Huntress) class. Larger and better armed, the craft packed about twelve times the firepower of the Sekhmet class into twice the size. Also, they could carry about thirty six more fighters, and were capable of dishing out and taking a lot of punishment.

But still, nothing could beat the Sekhmet class cruisers in speed and agility.

The Heavenly Archer had been ordered out on the direct orders of the Military Council to watch over New Fascism. Another cruiser, Moonlight, would join them in a day, and two Sekhmet class cruisers, Starlit Archipelago and Sky Wanderer, were keeping watch over Manmen, deploying a network of advanced recon satellites to keep track of waht was going on. (OOC if anyone cantake over the network of satellites, they would have a very good edge over the enemy, being that my satellites are very advanced, but are used only for recon and intel, not direct offensive power).

For now, WCS was watching, and waiting.

We support the War on New Facism as we consider Facist states to be imoral and unjust.

Therefore, from the confederate forces, 3.2 million troops are being mobilized. 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th Armoured divisons (Consisting of C2 and C9 tanks) and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Artillery divisions are currently being mobilized.

Our C-84 Bombers and our 4 squadrens of F22's are on high alert. You have the region of The New Found Land on your side Manmen (The 3.2 million is a coalition force).

We request permision to land our cargo planes at your airfields.

I'll say again that I'm the only nation to have struck Morgoth with impunity, and I did it alone. Almost did it to Kalessin, too, but it broke down in OOC planning.
Wretchenguard: quick anser is no. There are no citizens of the Kabal abroad in any nation, except the ten Scourges currently in New Fascism. Further, the odds of you spotting ten man-sized objects from any kind of international distance are... long, shall I say? ))

Who said that I "spotted" them? New Fascism picked up the anomolies and informed Padmasa, his ally. As Padmasa is also an ally of mine in the Arda alliance, and given my involvement in these affairs, I don't think it's a stretch that I would come by that information.

((They're only moving at night, they'll always find some building or cave or something like that to take refuge in during the day. They're walking, so don't think you'll catch them in the air. Is New Fascism still alive?))

OOC: I'm not spacetech either, I'm post-modern (2050 maybe) with research into grav and spacetech underway. My involvement in any conflict will likely be limited to ground forces unless traditional air and naval war begins.

I don't have any soldiers in New Fascism right now, so I don't currently have a battle plan made up for fighting there. Padmasa certainly might though.

OOC: Yeah, I'm plotting the war out, but I'm waiting till I have more specific numbers. Also, if, during this RP and for purposes of this RP only my allies from Arda want Powered armor, lasers, plasma, ect. for infantry. Please buy them, and I'll (and this is the only time it's ever going to happen) let you return them after the war... You'll get all your cash back except for a small fee for damage, ect.

Tsar Golovko read the report with slight interest. When finished, he set it down on the table and leaned back in his chair. "So, what do you think we should do about this?"

Secretary of State Neri spoke up first. "Well, sire, I think we should make an offer of help. I suppose any friend of Padmasa and Wretchengard is a friend of yours." Nods of consents followed this statement.

The Tsar nodded as well. "Ok then. Draft an offer of help and send it out. If they accept, I'll leave the military details to you," he said, looking at the Secretary of Defence.

((They're wearing a very high-tech version of a breastplate and chainmail. They can travel overland about twice as quickly as a human (~72 kilometers per day). However, as the island isn't anywhere near that big, they're going for stealth right now. As to a fight... one of three things might happen. They'll either fight like demons until your men are dead, fight like demons until they can effect a retreat, or just go ahead and spring the big shebang a little early.))

OOC: Sorry, sorry... I've had a lot of things to do lately.

IC: "Sir, this is recon group Alpha-delta-five. We have picked up movement in an uninhabited region... We are moving foward to check it out. Please be prepared to send back-up."

"Acknowledged, proceed. Reinforcments can be at your position in 5 minutes."

"Thanks, sir."

The recon team moved foward, they were largely in Troll combat cars, and the scanners mounted on each car was very good. The soldiers swept their guns back and forth scanning the trees for the movemtn that the scanners had detected. The commander, a sargent, yelled out into the forest. "Give yourselves up! You will be given 30 seconds to present yoursleves." They team waited, they had stopped thier crawl foward. As the seconds ticked away everyone got edgy. Then, 20 seconds after giving his decloration the sargent opened fire on the clump of trees where the movemnt had stopped being registered. At once the other gunners joined him the 20 mm rounds tearing into the undergrowth.

Meanwhile, Kenhis was sneaking through the forest on a recon mission. He thought that he had heard mutters a couple of minutes ago.
All of a sudden he heard, as clear as day, "Give yourselves up! You will be given 30 seconds to present yoursleves."

He stopped.

About 15 or 20 seconds later the forest around him exploded in gunfire.
Alarmed, he yelled for his team to get on the ground. They were going to try to sneak up on whoever was fighting to try to lend a hand. The war has begun, he told himself as he reloaded his clip on his .45 caliber pistol. Then again, he thought as he loaded his sniper rifle, I'll be able to steal some rations.

The Imperium must now get involved with this situation. In order to expedite our involvement, we will be needing some information from our key allies in the area. Where the fighting is taking place, etc etc, as well as any data collected that may be pertinent to finding out about Manmen.
