Anybody interested in Terraforming Mars - Move to Space.

I think the region would take you as long as your not a dumbass.
If you could bring a contribution to an international, soon to be a complete regional effort to industrialize space and terraform Mars for colonization.

Come - Join Us
I have dreamed the dream - and I have awakened to the real possibility of it.

--In a brief letter from the Da'amfeck foreign ministry--

The People's Republic of Da'amfeck thinks that this is a noble cause and hereby pledges to give a monthly allowance of 1.5 billion dollars to the space effort, as well as promising to build in our factories any parts that need to manufactured in a high-tech, efficient manner.
13-11-2003, 19:30
1.5 Billion is a huge sum of money to part with monthly - I ask, respectfully if this is being done safely - if not we have excellent commercial advisors. We apreciate the gesture however, and will take what we can get.

We will also send down a team to assess your manufacturing abilities - if they are good to go we can no doubt negotiate a production contract in an aerospace related industry.

Thanks again.

OOC: Um... For your information even if DGNT didn't blow up Mars, it already has been thoroughly colonized and terraformed...

Planet destruction is not godmodding Luna, its perfectly acceptable, though it typicaly has repricutions. In any case, I am perfectly capable of removing Mars from this dimension or converting it into base molocules. The same goes for you, so I would edit that post in which you refer to me as 'Half-wit', and make it OOC.

I just dont understand how some national leaders get into an office of responsibility.
Half-wit : listen and listen closely. More empty threats like these and you will find yourself without a nation to represent child. You have only to apologize for posting such an obscene and offensive joke as "I've blown up Mars a long time ago," and be on your marry little way.

OOC: Neoluna... Stop godmodding yourself. Neither you nor Daamfeck has the funds to terraform even a tiny bit of Mars...

DGNT asks the leader of Neo Luna why he wishes to become a wisp of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon monoxide.
DGNT has also discovered that Neo Lunas 'terraforming' force consists of three peasant farmers with a bucket of water, some tomato seeds and a few pitchforks, loaded onto a garbage can packed with black powder and a 'guidance system' consisting chiefly of a gateway computer.

As one of the long-time residents of Mars, I can testify that it does exist and that it is both heavily terraformed and heavily populated. Oh yes - and heavily defended.

Colonys are welcome as long as they seek to contribute to the peaceful growth of Mars.

You obviously did not read or maybe you just didnt get my original measage. The purpose of such an international colaberation is the aquisition and apropriate administration of such resources required for this great cause.

Mar's has already been terraformed?
given the default or general belief that Nationstates has a day for a year time in game here and its been 365 day since its inception its possible. But wheres the thread? How was it done?

Who created the Region?

Who created the Region?Mars has been mostly terraformed ever since I can remember....

I was lucky enough to grab the only Sol body that was unused... Triton :P and now I'm thinking of leaving that too.

Now that we we won our Doctrinal War, we have started to wonder if we could build a colony somewhere in Sol. If possible, we would want to build a colony in the part below a colony/nation named as "KEKKO MARS". The reason is simple, as there is a small lake/pond there. Tell us, would it be possible for the Hierarchy to establish a colony on this planet you call Mars?

Its a running gag CC, I claimed I blew up mars once when I was about a week old, I would not dream of destroying Earth, GLACORP is located on Earth, my capital is on Earth, I was refering to converting his nation into its base elements, not the bloody planet.

Who created the Region?

http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70875

There are many regions. There is The Planet Mars, created by Sunset, Green Mars, created by RESI, Vascilia County, created by Auman, and I don't doubt there are others that I don't know about.

The original region 'Mars' was created by Bush, likely late November or in December. It was there before I arrived. In July the region was crashed by UN region crashers, and instead of fighting for a region with no founder (thus no effective way to kick em out) I created The Planet Mars as a replacement. Right now the region Mars is populated by non-RPer's - effectively it doesn't exist.

My Naiton is not on Mars - Half Wit.

Its in Space. The region to which I extended an invite to.
But now it doesnt matter next time I'll explore first.

I've dreamed the dream - but now that dream has gone from me.

If the above post was directed at me, then:

I can still easily vaporize a space station, much more easily than a planet.

And yes, it is generaly a good idea to explore before you colonize.

If the above post was not directed at me, then ignore this.
