Today, after the elections of The Armed Republic of Big Long Now wrapped up, a new leader was chosen to lead the way of the nation. Jon Casavo was elected into office with 53% of the vote, taking President Richard Evan out of office effective immeadeately.
Casavo released a statement with his plans for the nation now lead by him:

Homosexual marriages are to be outlawed as soon as possible, as this is a sign of disrespect to the Lord. All married homosexuals will have compulsary divorce filed against them by the state. We do not discriminate homosexuals, however we shouldn't bind them in marriage.
Return BLN to a Federation, bringing it back to its roots.
The MCSF (Military and Commercial Space Freighters) Project will be scrapped and the BLNSA (Big Long Now Space Agency) to become the leading space agency again. The MCSF is clearly something brought forward too early, the LEX-110 will be docked until further notice.
