Why is like...every topic on this forum either weapons or...
Why is it that almost every topic is either someone selling weapons or someone talking about a war. International Incidents are not always military in nature. In fact, once i have a few minutes to start one, i'm going to try to write a (hopefully) succesful post that doesn't involve war at all.
Gimme some time, I'm a good writer, i just need to try and think of what would get a lot of people interested!

mm...fair enough..guess i need to pay more attention where i click, still this is a fun forum none the less, and its all in character, which is what i like about it

Well, you misunderstand that diplomacy, selling crafts, and tourism is nowhere near as fun as war. Most of us are probably teenage boys anyway.

Egotism. We guys like to think more with our military muscle than our brains at times. Not to say that every teenage boy here is a warmonger, but the majority is, I suspect. :roll:

Im 15 and Im a guy, but Im not a warmonger. Im a dedicated pacifist, and I beleive that war is ONLY justified in self-defence or in cases of extreme evil going on elsewhere in the world. And I mean really extreme. For example, George Bush II can go to hell, and burn there for eternity. Im a teenager and Im PROUD TO SAY that I am a pacifist!

"Free Form RP". As long as the guy your playing with agrees to play along with you you can do pretty much anything you like.

Why war all the time you ask? Simple. In this anonymous environment of free form role play, people are allowed to do whatever they want, without fear or worry from those every so oppressive GMs. And since no one is actually required to RP out repercussions of said wars and/or other violent actions, everyone wants a piece of the "fun." You have to admit, stomping someone's face in is more fun than arguing them into the ground. Especially when you know you can't beat them in an intellectual competition :wink:
