Socialist Pact of World Liberation

12-11-2003, 01:54
After a recent election, newly elected Chancellor Jack Springfield came up with this plan.

The Springfield Pact of World Liberation

-Article I: All Signer Nations will not declare war upon each other, the nations will be encouraged to aid one another and trade with each other. In an event that the Socialist Ideal is itself attacked, then all Signer nations are to join in a possible war with the opposition to the Ideals.

-Article II: All Nations are to Uphold the following Ideals to the best of their Abilities.
A: The Abolition of social classes to the best of their ability.
B: The absolute Abolition of Slavery and Forced Unpaid labor.
C: A Government that is completely elected by the people, with a sufficient method of checks and balances with a possible vote of the people.
D: No rules must apply to a certain Race or Gender.

-Article III: All nations are to share Major technology and to share industrial information. This will help the furthering of technology in the alliance.

-Article IV: All Nations must have a UN classification as a Democracy or Socialist of some type. The Government must be run by the people, and there must be an attempt to abolish private property to the best of their ability.

Looks good. While LRR will not become a member of the alliance (Political alliances are against LRR law) we support you wholeheartledy. If you are ever in the vicinity of Mars, be sure to stop by.

This is a tricky thing for one to sign, since it hardly holds any ideals of socialism or communism in its thought process, I will not sign unless it is rewritten in order to hold the true virtues of the idealogy

Since most nations who hold the true socialist or Communist ideal, the government is not in the typical sense a government as we see today, but a series of communes in which there is an elected state machine which sole power is basically to provide a goal and organize the way towards it. It has no right to exploit or oppress.

Elected Voice of the People, Lief Knutsson.

You are in, now, with foru members, the pact is growing stronger.

And, Communist-Anarchism what new ideals would you like to add to the pact

The Holy Empire of Loparonia, though a new nation, is eager to join this pact. Our politics may not agree wholeheartedly with other nations in the pact, but we are a fledgling country. We need alliances to become more prosperous.

Some non-socialist and non-communist nations could fit in the requirements.

I would recommend rule by the Proletarian, the abolitions of private property and of the right of inheritance, as with a military alliance, the cause must be just in order to convince the worker's militia.

I completely agree, I will add them to the pact immediately.

As for you, Loparonia, NO, you are corrupt.

What?
Outer Uiguria
13-11-2003, 01:57
As a young socialist country emerging from the tumult of revolution, Outer Uiguria currently wants to stay out of political alliances and other pacts - but as comrades in struggle for better world our people wants to express their greatest respect for unity and cooperation among socialists and the working class.
