B2-bombers
Hello, I will need 500 B2-Bombers, I will send a wire transfer as soon as the transaction is made. 8)
Dude, the US only has like 16 B-2 Bombers. Im not COMPLETELY sure thats the exact number, but definately not near 500. Try toning it down a bit.
I recommend you read the "What Godmoding is thread"

If you have a large nation 16 B-2s really don't cut it. Besides, This is NS not real life. You can have thousands for all I care. I can just use my AMS or Panzers to knock them outta the sky.

1. He has 23 million people.
2. B-2s are at least a billion dollars each.
3. You're going to shoot down a B-2 with a tank (Panzer)?
i sell them for 30mil each i think thats whati put, and befor u ask i dont make them my Private sector does
i sell them for 30mil each i think thats whati put, and befor u ask i dont make them my Private sector does30 mil are u joking!
I know this has nothing to do with the price of tea in China, but my brother is a mechanic for the B-2 Stealth bomber. ok i leave now
not to mention, each B-2 costs a shitload to maintain yearly, so having 500 would just be a wrecking ball for your resources and economy.

they actually have a unit cost of 2.1 Billion USD, 30 mill would buy you the pilots seat maybe.. and 500 of them is a ludicrous amount.

Actually, the US only has 12. And they cost about 2 bil. each. Why would you ever need 500? The payload on just one is staggering.

The US has 21 of them in active force. 22 - 100 something were cancelled by congress :(

Yes Ok, NS is not RL, but it's based on it. Having 500 of these is ludicrous, the upkeep costs (A helluva a lot more then a normal plane, they have to be meticulosly checked after every flight) are huge, and they are expensive as hell. Sure you *could* have 500, but's it's a waste. This leaves no room in your budget for purchasing ANYTHING else (And not even home-produced weapons, as you have to buy them from your companies with money) And probably never would since the upkeep will put you in debt.
They are not very flexible, can't be used for Air-to-Air or many other roles, and require a large support base. For a comparison, losing just two is almost the equivalent of losing 1 entire Nimitz class Aircraft Carrier

They're more stealthy than the F-117 and the only time that was shot down was pure LUCK and some poor NATO planning. They have an unlimited range with air to air refueling and they fly very high, we're talking about 60K. If they were to get shot down it would be the magic BB of magic BBs. It'd also take a direct hit to probably take it out or a very near hit and hitting something that hard to detect at that height isn't easy. Secondly, the ECM on that sucker alone is enough to jam anything and sometimes, as was over Bosnia, they fly with EA-6 escorts so good luck!

Yes, and look at who they were facing, an enemy using much older equipment (Old be even Soviet standards), after extensive fighting. In NS you are likely to run into a much more advanced enemy.

OOC: I was just at Whiteman AFB 3 weeks ago, and we were informed of only 12.
2 bill in RL but thinkof it like this the people who make B-2s have to buy parts from differnet places my Privete sector doesnt so its cheaper to make and hence it cost a lil tho i might be upping the price to about 650million

the US as over 102 B-52H i know i just did some resurch on it and spoke to my a member of the family who was in the US airforce
It would be hard for me to even afford 500 B-2's, 1 trillion for the initial purchase, then support costs would kill me...
B-2 cost about 2.7 billion im sorry but who would pay 2.7 billion for a plane that cant be seen by radar.
