Better hope none of the electronics get scrambled, it'll feel like a migrane headache, and the pilots might die from shock during a systems failure...

I have the same kind of tech. Stolen from the book Apocalypse Troll. Except im still researching it with safeguards so my pilots dont die accidently by some malfunction with the way the interfaces work. Must say though nice idea.

Eizen's Antistarfighter measures include a wide range of signal jamming and EMP warfare. Neural Interface warcraft that oppose us tend to end up with comatose, vegetable like pilots should they be able to survive the first wave.

I'm not exactly going to trust the engineering opinion of someone that doesn't know how to spell "missile" properly.

It's called shielding ED! So what kind of tech are you? ( i dont pay attention.) And i dont think their is any possible way to make it completely EMP shielded. (someone who actually knows a way go right ahead and prove me stupid)

And the point is the missile impacts, and then releases EMP.

Or if the missile is intercepted within close range the plane would only take light emp damage. But direct impact and its bye bye most systems.

Correct if I'm wrong, but if a missile hits, doesn't it usually kill a plane anyway? If you can hit the plane with a missile, why use a costly EMP warhead?

If you guys used sensor jamming, the pilot would have his perception severely clouded, he wouldn't be hurt.......Its like putting on a blindfold........

And EMP can be blocked entirely with faraday cages, or partially with EMP shutters (http://www.anidea.com/Asset/display?asset_id=ANI4828).

Use Big warheads against whole formations and large numbers. Very effective against pirates that dont have the fancy toys.
