The Conductor of Communist Likon, Martin Little, was this morning assassainated in his office. Several factions have already begun to diplomatically fight for the leadership of the nation.
The two leading contendors are Peter Burg from the Party for Progress and Colonel Iosef, the leader of the IDF.
The assassain has not been found, the people of Communist Likon are afraid of a civil war breaking out after the recent invasion by Lipvinity. The new Conductor is not expected to be elected.

Our deepest feelings of sorrow for you in your sand times.

If your nation falls in to a civil war we can take refugees for safe keeping until order is restored in ýour great nation.

Communist Likon officially broke into civil war this morning. 5 major grousp have taken control of the nation.
In the North West, the Party for Progress has taken control and have 32% of the nations support to win the war.
In the South West the Monarchists who wish to restore Communist Likon into a Kingdom again have taken control, mainly of jungle mountain areas and have 12%nation widede support.
In the South the Capitalists have taken control and currently have 2%nation wide support and are maintaining contrtol mainly through murder.
In the East the Autocratarians under Colonel Iosef have taken control, they hold much land, and have taken control of the money sent to rebuild the nation after the recent war. 29% of the nation supports them.
In Danube the capital the Provisional Government is still pretending they are in control. 13%of the population supports them.
12% of the population are currently neutral. There are reports of the Party for Progress and the Autocratarians joining forces and forming a government together, but these are unconfirmed. All sides scream for help

Not again, Gazkhull thought. "What about the military? the police? the secret police?" "we have very little information sir. What we do know is that several imperialist nations are supporting the capitalist swine."

He picked up the phone for direct line to military headquarters. "Yes. This is the president.......yes......yes...Deploy the entire fleet. Yes, you heard me. .....And the airforce as well..yes...no, do not enter communist likon itself, I want to avoid bloodshed. Just blockade the ENTIRE island......... Yes I know that includes communist Idealism. I don't want a single imperialist ship or plane to reach Communst Likon. You have your orders.*click*
Gazkhull smiled, yet another chance to show the imperialist dogs that they could not do whatever they wanted. Then he frowned, he had forgotten the new lipvinian colony that communist Likon had recently established with rebel grots help. Oh well, he thought. The island was more important than the colony.
He turned to the courier. "Establish secure communicatios with the new leader of the communist faction. NOW!"

The USSP sends its message of sorrow to the broken nation of Likon. Why must innocent lives be destroyed for a stupid government cause????

The Party for Progress, and the Autocratarians have officially joined forces in an alliance to create stability. The new party, the Association for Continuing Peace in Communist Likon (ACPCL) thank Rebel Grots for their peace keeping forces.
Although they know that the Monarchists are the most dangerous of their three foes, they have planned a campaign against the Capitalist faction, who have been murdering innocent citizens to maintain power.
The ACPCL have attacked the main Capitalist stronghold, the city of Malton.

The Governor of Lipvinity has decided that until further noticec he will maintain marshall law within Lipvinity to prevent riots. The Red Army troops, numbering 50,000 will be withheld until he finds a faction to support, most likely the one he thinks is going to win.

International Statement

Blood and sweat will soon conquer Communist Likon if all sides do not come to an peaceful agreement. We urge all sides to hold a peace conference to try to resolve this bloody conflict. The real sufferers in this war are the people.

The peacekeeping forces have arrived. The majority are immediatly sent to the areas where the fighting is thickest. At the same time, a call goes out to the leaders of the different factions to meet under rebel grots supervision and discuss peace.

UN trooper Rawne knew his duty all too well, his duty to his nation, his duty to the UN, but above all, his duty to the people, to the communist cause. His heart was filled with fury aimed at the leaders of the capitalist faction just outside his APC. He was sitting next to the driver, under the top hatch. He could see the civilians surrounding the vehicles, they were cheering, glad that the UN had finally come. Rawne then saw his foe. The leaders of the capitalist faction stood with the crowd, surrounded by their troops. They looked weary, battle-worn and glad. They were finally safe they thought. Rawne was puzzled, it looked as though the leaders themselves had been in the fight, and they all looked like ordinary people.
"It is an illusion". Rawne thought, they were capitalist demons, child-killers, they were not, had never been, human. Rawne was angry. Here was the greatest enemy of all, and his government had said that they were not to be harmed. "To hell with the government" Rawne thought, this was his duty, he knew what he had to do. He quickly unbuckled, stood up and popped open the top hatch. The driver looked at him in shock, as though paralyzed. "Goodbye comrade" Rawne said and hoisted himself up. He grabbed the 25-kaliber autocannon and started firing into the crowd. "Long live the revolution!!" he screamed as he fired. Then the panic and screaming began. He saw his enemies fall, the demons, the devils, they were all dying. Rawne felt something move below him, and looked down the hatch. He stared straight into the barrel of a colt-44, his driver snarled, and Rawne's battle-cry died with him....

The ACPCL Leaders walked through the liberated Capitalist territory. Whether the UN forces like it or not it was now ACPCL controlledd territory, and they would fight to keep it.
General Iosef (He recently promoted himself) turned to his top commander and said, "two to go"

An incredibly angry Dictator stalked his office. The autocratarians had had the nerve to ALLY with the communists! They had gone too far. Volgan forces would interfere. A huge fleet of aircraft was gathered at the Astrakhan airbase. 250 B-52's and 2000 C-130's were gathered there. The Hercules aircraft were packed with Paratroopers, ready for an invasion. A full 200,000 soldiers were going to land in Communist Likon, barring losses. Tanks and helicopters would arrive in the next wave.

The armed republic of rebel grots has just recieved disturbing intelligence reports. It seems that an imperialist nation has come back for more. President Gazkhull smiled, he was confident that his blockade would hold, he would honour the memory of general Theodore by keeping Likon communist. The fact that Likon was swarming with Rebel Grots UN troops keeping the peace made the president sure that the imperialists would not invade. Surely they could not be that stupid?

OOC The autocratians are strong believers in an autocratic society, however they are still communists who believe in the Communist Ideal of all economic resouces under the govenment, but a dictatorial government. That is why they allied with the Party for Progress, i probably should have mentioned that before.

The ACPCL have offered the Provisional government in Danube the chance to join the grand alliance for the assault on the monarchists. Danube have so far refuseed to join.
The ACPCL's army is iutside the Danube gates, if they do not join they will be destroyed. But as the ACPCL does not wish to kill Communist Likon citizens they give 1 days grace for surrender and evacuation.

Hattia declares support for the Communist government, we cannot send men at this time though we can contribute funds and weapons.

The UN troops rush to Danube to evacuate all the citizens. General Herman of the UN troops also sends a hail to the leader of the ACPCL and wishes to meet with him for peacetalks.
The rebels couldn't be desperate enough to attack the UN, could they?

IC The monarchists were destroyed by the rebellion by ordinary citizens in their area, many of its leaders were executedd by the guillotine.

The ACPCL and the Provisional Government of Danube have formed into the Communist Party under the leadership of General Iosef.
General Iosef won the nationwide election to be the LEADER of Communist Likon. He will rule as dictator until his death. The new constitution of Communist Likon will br written and the new parliment appointed in thenext few weeks.
Heading the LEADER Iosef's agenda is teh expansion of Communist Likon, and the building of an Empire to rival any.
After discovering supporters of Monarchists in the Colony of Lipvinity the LEADER has ordered the purge of 800,000 suspects and their families.
They have all been shot as planned.

stalin killed 40 million, but that was over a lot of time, not just in a couple of days. I think you could introduce labour camps and things like that. Maybe use lipvinity as your new siberia or something :wink:
maybe even racism against the lipvinians, as your people blame them for the costly lipvinian invasion.

In regards to the Civil War currently raging in Communist Likon, the Five Civilized Nations cannot just watch from the sidelines, while one of its allies is being destroyed. Today, the Parliament of the Five Civilized Nations have decided to fund an international peacekeeping forces to restore order in Communist Likon. After order has been achieved, internationally monitored elections will take place, to find out the wishes of the people.

Finally, to bolster the armed forces for the conflict, the Five Civilized Nations will call up the 1st Army, Navy, and Air Force Reserves and hand over the garrison tasks of the territories to the National Guard.

The number of conflicts has been drastically reduced over the last couple of days. Fighting and unrest has almost ceased, as the new government is gaining control of the country.
