*Shows map with area CLEARLY marked

We warn other nations about sending any kind of vessel into the area, we won't be shooting at them deliberatly but some attacks will be using live fire and accidents can happen, We will however be asking vessels to keep clear of the battlegroups.

Shooting at the battlegroups will be seen as an act of war.

<OOC>
Forlorn Hope is a continent the size of Antarctica which is located in the central and south pacific (between the Phillipines and South America). There is still plenty of room for your maneuvers- especially since the Pacific in NS Earth is at least 4000 kilometers wider than the real one.
</OOC>

His Omniferocity has ordered me to remind Pure Evil that the waters 300 kilometers around Forlorn Hope are a wildlife sanctuary for several varieties of cetaceans. Please ensure that no stray ordnance enters this area.

All EOE naval assets will remain clear of the exercise area for the duration. Commercial air and ship traffic has likewise been warned to stay clear of the area.

Once the exercise is over, your ships are welcome to visit the Free Port of Amida Island on Forlorn Hope's southwestern coast.

Let us hope you do not clog up major traffic ways. There is a war in Japan at the moment. So I suggest you be careful as well.

Marshall Fontaine cursed as the Trinity2 message flashed onto his screen. He cursed again as he read the message, and a third time when he'd finished it and read it again.

"Karl! Get in here!"

"Sir!"

"Get this out to all units. The Warlord has set Trinity2."

"Du lieber Gott! Why?"

"Apparently some desk-jockey in External Security screwed the pooch and forgot to file a report that Pure Evil was planning naval exercises just north of here."

"Ja, so I see. Is there more to it than an exercise?"

"I doubt it. The Warlord is probably just being paranoid, as usual. He only called Trinity2."

"What about the Reserves?"

"That's the only modification. The Reserves are placed on alert, but won't report to the Cadre stations just yet."

"What about our Allies in FReDA?"

"It's up to them whether they mobilize or not. They've been alerted. I gather that there's some high-level consultations with the Revalen Council of Syndics about sharing satellite data for the duration."

The Marshall called up the Forlorn Hope plot and studied it for a few moments.

"Karl, I'm ordering R-16. We'll place the following units at Phase Line Echo ...."

All across the Dominion, unit receivers got the Warning Orders. Troops were roused from sleep and into battle dress. All fatigue drained from their bodies as they noted the sheer quantities of weapons and ammunition being issued. Sailors made hasty goodbyes and hurried to their ships. Aircraft rolled out of hangars and into revetments, nearly covered by the technicians quickly and efficiently doing last-minute checks. Ordnance handlers rapidly attached weapons to hardpoints, and pilots called up flight data from their pre-loaded mission briefings.

Six hours after the Warning Order, each unit had been given its R-16 designations and moved toward the deployment staging areas. Sophisticated electronics silently quested the atmosphere (and beyond) as circuits went to Full Military Power. Ghostly shapes of moored airships rose at strategic points around the country, each bearing several tons of sophisticated military equipment that was all the more lethal for the fact that there were no weapons involved. Strategic aircraft started their Trinity2 patrol patterns, the onboard sensors sniffing the air for any threats. Dark grey ships slid quietly out of harbors and disappeared into the haze over the sea. Men and women in grey BDU's slung their weapons and moved purposefully to their checkpoints. Millions of otherwise ordinary citizens carried small radios and packs with them on their way to work and school. City Engineers crash-tested the CBR defenses and refreshed the internal air supplies.

8 hours after the Warning Order, the Dominion was a coiled spring of weapons and sensors. One-third of the miltary would be on alert at all times until "stand-down" was ordered.
