Way too many infantry and tanks. Your total amount of men, both infantry and crewmen, shouldn't be more than around 4-5% of your population.

Well, you can't buy men. And your infantry alone is 5% of your population, and you need about twice the amount of combat troops for support, which puts your army alone at around 15% of your nation.

Dude, your military is about 2 million people. You are what I would call a godmoder. get a little mor realistic.

Your TOTAL military, of about 5%, would be 2 million people. Now, divide that by the number of branches you have (In your case, Army, Navy, and Aircraft.). Divide that number by 3, and that is the amount of men you have per service to operate combat weapons. This includes infantry, tank drivers, combat pilots, warship sailors, etc. Anyone fighting. The rest are the support, like the cooks, medics, supply truck drivers, etc.

Well, you may want to cut the numbers in half for everything but the Chinooks, but the Subs and frigates should be about 1/20th of what they are. The US and russia combined doesn't have that many subs or frigates.

200,000 would be more accurate (US is i beleive 350k troops and 250M total pop

It's a decent army for a small nation. Very good job, though yeah, it shows that you are obviously a VERY militaristic nation. Though my army is nearly 50 times the size. Ahhh, I remember the old days of NS, when we had 10% of our nations population in the military...

or in the first week of december... 90%, ie armies of 8M

It all looks good, but I'd work on improving your Airforce. The F-4s days are behind it, your main fighter should be one of the newer F-22s, JSFs, Eurofighter 2000s or perhaps Su-37s. I personally use a mix of F-15s, F-16s, and MiG-29s to fill in that role.

Even 5% of your population in your military is too much. A better number is 1-2% in peace time, 2-3% in a minor military conflict, and 3-5% in total war. And please for the love of God, don't use 1 NS year = 1 RL day. That's so incredibly cheap, doing that, it allows you to build your military much faster than you should. A better system is 1 NS year = 12 RL days.

As for your military, I'd call that godmoddishly large, especially your armored stuff. I'm about to go on a budget-reset (end of my 21 day long NS year) spending spree, and even after that, and my forces will barely be that large, and my nation is several times the size of yours.

and just remember, having that many troops means there are that many less people working in your country. Which means less money in circulation. which means a shitty economy. People never realize WHY we cant realistically field a 10% country pop military.
