*ok, Attican and I have spoken about this. We'll wage war but it will only be waged between us. No outside military intervention unless permitted by both Attica and me(FPC). You can still put messages and give money or weapons but no sending of troops. Also, Attica and I have defined rules that we will follow in this war RP. Hope you all enjoy!*

Sypnosis ~

Listovia, a commonwealth of FPC, angered the Attican Kaiser by insulting him and his country. Paralle to this, some independant Attican tribes attacked Listovia. Now, in the Attican reichstag, war is on every minister's lips. They want to attack FPC, their dreaded nemesis. Of course, the people's republic of FPC has no idea that Attica would do such a thing... until they are attacked!

Listovia itself - invasion + 0100 hours - northern front(held by FPCian soldiers)

"The Attican independant tribes are attacking!" yelled a Senior Sergeant to his troops, "We musn't let them trough!"

Even as he spoke, many Deutshcrians (hope it's written like that) were charging acroos mine fields towards the FPCian line of defence that served as a border.

OOC:my appologies for not finishing things off in the other thread i've been a bit off recently but i think we can assume that all went well.

IC: i still have a carrier battlegroup in the area (its sort of become a semi perminant training rotation type thing, sort of like US carriers in the gulf) and if you really want i can send you a couple of divisions or even an entire Corps if you want.

The Federation condemns any move by the Attican government to restart hostilities with the recently-liberated FPC. The State Department forwards a request from the Secretary-General to FPC head of state Gagarini to deploy a submarine task force to protect FPC waters.

The vote in the Reichstag is in. The Greater Attican Empire is now at war.

The troops that we had built up on the FPC/Listovia border will immediately push thru. Heavy and Light panzer divisions are moving thru into Listovia, while Infantry are invading thru the southern mountains. Aircraft are taking off in order to soften up targets.

1500 Deutscherian Tribesman were killed invading Listovia.

-72 FPCian soldiers died while defending Listovia's northern border & 129 Listovians perished while also defending their homeland.

The Deutscherian Tribesman were repulsed (well, think so, correct me if wrong Attica) but soon afterwards, the Attican military entered the conflict and forced it's way in Listovia and small portions of FPC, near the border.

The FPCian governement was totally taken by surprise as it was amidst radical changes and rebuilding after the civil war. Near the border with Attica, few thousands soldiers were available to resist but were mainly killed or escaped inland before the sheer firepower and intensity of the Attican invasion force.

Though 4,600 FPCians died in FPC & another 3,980 more perished while defendin Listovia from Attica, it is to note that the Attican invasion force has sustained relatively high damages due to the huge number of mines and hidden snipers and AA guns.

The Federation Congress voted unanimously to condemn Attican aggression against FPC and enact full sanctions. The Tiamat task force, immediately following the emergency session of Congress, was given orders to deploy to international waters just outside the Attican zone of control. The Secretary-General repeats her offer to aid FPC in its self-defense.

While neither nation is totally without blame, the Reformists in the FPC deserve a chance to rebuild and do it right. They earned that much. We will not support any aggression by the Atticans unless they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the new FPC government presented a grave threat to Attican sovereignty as the use of force is only justified in self-defense or to preempt an imminent threat. Given the weakened state of FPCian forces after their civil war, I fail to see how the Atticans can justify restarting hostilities.

First you were ennemies and then, I remember you siding with him against the previous dictators at the time of the secession of Listovia and now I hear about the McLeo-Attico alliance. The Kahtan regulars are moving into FPC from the south Attican border, while Attican regulars are moving from the north Attican border. Already, in the north, they have gained 100mi of Listovian territory (to coorespond with 'blitzkrief' idea).

OOC: Hey. Yeah, decided if you can't beat em join em. I'd been at war with him too much, and it seems logical to ally with him, especially with the weapons systems he produces.

But i've yet to see why he got involved here, so unless there is good reason for the attacks, i'm gonna have to protect civilians. If both sides would agree to me joining that is.


OOC to Attica: When I join the war, i don't want to nullify our alliance, but i will step in to prevent your men from deliberately harming civilians and unarmed deserters etc.

Unless fired upon, only non-lethal force will be used. Might even use the foreign legion. Full of Attican ex-pats i believe.

Whilst we too fail to see justification for these attacks, an alliance with the Attican Empire is important to our country. If i fail to be persuaded that this war is legitimate, i would most likely step in to fill the peace-keeper role, trying to keep innocent casualties to a minimum and ensuring all POWs and civilians are treated fairly.

If the Atticans fail to justify their actions in an appropriate and legal manner, I recommend that the Reichstag be dissolved and the leadership of the Attican Empire be arrested and tried for war crimes. The incessant scheming of the Atticans has gone far enough. Their system must be cleaned out to allow a just government to reign.

Inside the MAFCC FPC base, over five hundred men and women of the Royal Marine Corps readied for operations. They were armed with 9-mm sidearms, tasers, batons, and riot shields. The troops were to be mounted in the latest Lion armoured riot control vehicles, fitted with smoke launchers and water cannon.

The nearest border with Listovia was some 50 miles away. The troops would be deployed to a town just beyond that to ensure the safety of civilians nearby.

A public statement from the Secretary-General:

The Atticans still have not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the Reformist government in FPC presented their nation with a grave threat warranting military intervention. Invading a sovereign nation because their leaders voiced fears that have now been proven valid or convinced another government entity to accept their offer is nothing more than bullying on an international scale. The Federation will continue its long-standing policy of promoting peace, liberty, and the rule of law in the Attican-FPC regions and supports the right of the FPC people to not be coerced or bullied by their neighbors.

Personally, I find it deplorable that the Atticans have decided to resume the imperialist behavior of their predecessors just when the FPC is finally starting on the path to freedom and at its weakest. We hoped that the skeletons in the Attican closet had been laid to rest. Our hopes and our trust appear to have been misplaced. There is an old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We will not be fooled twice.

Listovia, now a Commonwealth of the Empire of FPC, and Deutscher Reich, a neutral nation with a strong Attican Population, have come into conflict, and FPC has supported Listovia in their quest against the neutral peoples of Deutscher Reich. Again, I implore the combined nations of Attica, Vampiric Dominion, and Kahta, to act against this menace to humanity known as FPC.

Also, why do you accuse Listovia and FPC of defending themselves from the supposely "neutral" Deutschrians who attacked first without any provocation?

"Since the begining of the unprovoked attack of Attican & soldiers of the Deutschrians tribes, our forces have been beaten back several miles back into FPC. Listovia is nearly completly invaded by Deutschrians and Atticans, though several outposts still put up stiff resistance.

In our glorious country, our line of defence has been breached at several points. Some say the invaders have reached well into 20 miles of FPC territory!!!

Up to date, here is the casualty list:
Listovia (since invasion) - 15,900 dead / 190 tanks / 80 pieces of artillery

The Federation State Department today issued a travel advisory for the Attican Empire, citing the aggression against FPC, and recommended that all Federation citizens avoid travel to Attican-controlled areas.

In other news, the Secretary-General's office released a special report assessing the current situation. Satellite imagery indicates that the already weakened FPC forces are offering little resistance to the Attican invasion and in full retreat. The disputed territory of Listovia has been nearly completely overrun.

A representative from the Secretary-General's office had this to say, "If the Reformist government was such a threat, why is it that they are losing so badly? The Gagarini administration is not stupid. They had no aggressive intent towards the Atticans. This is a land grab by the Atticans, plain and simple. Either the Kaiser is implicitly involved in this plot or he is being unwittingly used by individuals within his own government."

When asked what that means for the Attican Empire, the representative replied, "If the Kaiser is a witting participant, he - along with the leaders of the Reichstag - should be arrested and put on trial for war crimes. They have proven themselves unfit to govern. If the Kaiser is unwitting, he needs to either clean house or step down."

The guards on the tower flag the Attican vehicle down, and give them directions to a small building near the control tower, where the base commander will meet them.

"It seems once more that the Attican Kaiser is being tricked by Anti-FPC members of his Cabinet. King James IV seems extremely worried about the incident, and is hoping, that with the help of our brothers and sisters in Autonomous City-states, we can mediate a peace treaty, or at least agree on a cease-fire whilst the situation is discussed by the leaders of all involved countries.

This reporter believes that Prince Michael is currently en route to FPC to discuss with commanders there what there orders will be. It is believed he may try and meet with the Attican Kaiser in private to discuss exactly why the Atticans started this war. This is Gillian Morrison, McLeodian News."

The High Councilman Dirk Dales, speaking on behalf of the entire High Council, has condemned Attican Empire for its unwarranted aggressive moves against FPC. High Councilman Dales is requesting that Attican Empire provide any and all proof of its claims, or TGB might consider assembling a military task force to be deployed to the area, for the duration of hostilities.

The Federation will participate in any joint effort to end this conflict and protect the sovereign rights of the FPC people. The Atticans should call a ceasefire, end all hostilities, and withdraw to the pre-invasion boundaries as an act of good faith. Continued aggression by the Attican Empire will be considered accordingly.

IC:

FPCian armies in thesector of the invasion are still retreating. There is little resistance since all FPCian armies are on the other side ofthe country after the civil war. Some have been dispatched to resist the invader but amidst the chaos, it is unlikely they'll reach the lines in time. It has only been 1 day and already, Attican forces are 80 to 100 kms deep into our beloved country.

The kingdom of Crookfur restates it's offer of assistance to FPCian forces but are concerned that unless FPCian resistance stiffens our forces could never make it in time (we could liekly deploy light weight ariborne forces within a day but heavy forces would take 3-5 days to arrive).

We have some small assets currently deployed with the carrier group that we can lend if required (think maybe a battalion or 2 of marines and some of thier heavy equipment plus the carrier groups air wing).

Currently, no messages can go out of FPC since all lines have been either cut or the servers have crashed due to an overloaded period. Even contacting armies is nearly impossible due to the crash of communications.

There is still that rather big pile of coms equipment that got left behind, i'm sure we will have told our new freinds the reformists where it might be found (or if the remains of the underground/imperials have it then surely they would use it against the invaders).

The Secretary-General's Office declassifies satellite imagery of FPC and provides the Reformist government with updated intel on the location and movement of Attican echelons.

The El cid the hero government has decidid to offer suport to FCP a force of 100 abrams and 5,000 troops will arive in two days time.

Yes, my soldiers are under your command. However you will have control of only 50% of my air assests and 25% of my naval assests, as those are necesary for our defense in the event of an attack against us from external aggressors.

The Government of Kahta is a democratic nation and decides on issues by the means of voting. We were presented with information from Attica regarding the FPC situation and felt that it deserved our attention.

Attica, with your permission I wish to conduct EMP strikes against FPC towards military targets. I also wish to get permission for the use of EMP weaponry against shipping, air, and civillian targets within FPC. This will send the country into total chaos with no communications or ways to fight back with modern equipment. Please get back to us as soon as you can.

OOC: there is the possibility that some might consider wide area EMP strikes esspecially on civilian targets as not being too far from the use of WMDs, which might cause a detour from attica/FPC's chosen path.

Of course at the moment it would be rather redundant as thier coms are hardly doign them any good. Then there is the issue of using EMPs against targets anywhere near the various fleets...

OOC: Kahta, don't bring EMP into this. You do, and i will take FPCs side, negating any alliance with Attica. Serious. Its only one step away from nuclear bombardment.

1) I have a large military base inside FPC, so EMPing his power supplies would mean i suffer.

2) Any attacks on civilians will be dealt with extremely harshly. EMP attacks can affect pacemakers, cars, aircraft, and generally endanger civilian lives.

3) As i have already stated, it is one step from using EMPs, and will prompt strikes against launch platforms.

4) I would be able to ICly detect EMP attacks and judge their source from staellites deployed in orbit and stations on the ground fitted with EMP shielding.

The Federation condemns the entry of Kahtan forces into an already merciless slaughter of FPC citizens defending their homes and their rights against Attican aggression. A unanimous vote in the Senate has granted the Secretary-General the authority to undertake any action necessary to protect FPC's sovereignty, pending authorization by the Reformist government. The Secretary-General has also been authorized to offer asylum to Reformist officials and their families, along with any other able FPC citizens, to set up a government-in-exile if the Attican onslaught cannot be halted.

The Tiamat Battle Group has now arrived on station just outside of Attican territorial waters, near the FPC maritime border.

Crookfur: Yeah, but i thought Kahta was post-modern tech, so we could be looking at EMP bombs or satellites.

But yeah, i'm prepared to sit back for a while, only get involved if people start slaughtering civilians. Plus, it really looks like FPC is getting slaughtered for no reason, and i'm gunning to support him, despite alliances to the contrary.

I think i may have some sort of vague idea where things might lead (but i could be wrong).

there are certain similarities to a RL incident that have formed my suspisions.

I wouldn't worry if they want us involved we'll hear rahter soon i imagine.

-Listov has fallen to Deutschrians and Atticans. There is still an army in the commonwealth of Listovia but it's falling back really quickly.

-Our main armies have finally been contacted and are heading towards the Attican spearhead. They will do forced marched if they must to protect Liliansk.

-Attican forces have still taken more than 50 Kilometriskia(km) worth of land today.

McLeod03: The Scout vehicle stops at the bases gate, and the Attican guard gives the Attican symbol for a meeting request ( open palms ).

OOC: Deutscher Reich broke away from Attica about 5 NS years ago, and started the war (unknowledgable to the world) by staging raids on Listovia. Also, I only post war plans for -planned out- wars.

Already, people in western Listovia are benefiting from advanced Attican engineering in the fields of transportation and water supplies. A new autobahn has been constructed for temprorary transport, and the engineers plan on replacing it with a permanent one. Underground Wasserfilterbahn (Filtered Water Transit) systems have begun construction, as well.

On the home front, POW camps have been set up near major cities. Captured FPC/Listovia troops are kept under excellent conditions, and fed rations that are fed to Attican troops (ACS, i am assuming you have -not- halted sending me the ration packs, if you have, it is likely the POWs will starve, and there might be famine in my nation.), and enjoy many of the pleasures civilians face - fade to pictures of happy POWs in their camp, enjoying the niceties of Attican POW camps -'

Well its not entirely dissimilar to events between gemrany and urssia in ww2 is it? the conflict sparked (or excused) by concerns over control of a smaller independent country (poland), followed by rapid gains on one side but the other eventually fights back...

"Sir, the Atticans have broken through, and are now deep inside FPC. If we don't act fast, it's going to be too late." said the Home Guard General.

"We cannot afford to lose this alliance" argued the Foreign Minister

"I agree with the learned general your highness, we must act decisively NOW" said the Kings Military Advisor.

"Alright gentlemen, deploy Operation FPC Shield" said the King, somewhat downheartedly.

The troops moved out, setting out for the nearest town. Behind them, more troops were forming up, along with aid convoys, and engineers.

Their task was to successfully defend urban areas using non-lethal force, and supply local people with food, clothing, water, and electricity.

Before the terrorists are able to do something, a stray rocket comes out of the sky, and smashes into the munitions dump. It goes up in flames.

Sequentially, the Attikisch Gehemdienst fills out international warrants for the following people:

For crimes against the Attican State, International Terrorism, and incitations of war. The Reichsgehemdienst has already raided their homes, and have found numerous documents between Deutscher Reich and themselves, parlaying to lie to the Kaiser to incite a war between FPC and Attica.

Also sequentially, a truck, apparently filled with munitions, slams into a pipeline built from Attica supplying Oxythane fuel to the Attican vehicles on the front. It explodes in a wondrous blaze, in fact, destroying an entire block around it. OOC: The truck was driven by Deutscher Reichians.

"McLeodian Aircraft, you are clear to land on field 127AB at Kuklinski Field."

The Federation Congress votes by a simple majority to cut down the number of ration packs supplied to the Atticans by two-thirds, leaving only the civilian allotment. The legislation declares that the Federation will not allow the Atticans to use humanitarian aid to prop up their invasion effort and also will not shield the Atticans from the consequences of their ill-advised actions. The remainder of the Attican food aid is diverted to FPC.

"Sir, we have been given landing permission" said the pilot.

"Very well" replied Prince Michael "take us in, and be ready to get away quickly if we need to"

The aircraft banks slowly to the south, white paint with teh red tail and gold crown catching the sunlight as it turns.

IC: in a report to the kaiser by the Reichswehr: 'We have enough rations stored in order to hopefully reach New Quebec. if not... we will be forced to fall back. Personally, given the evidence that the Reichsgehemdienst has uncovered, I beleive this war is foolish.'

At Attica City:
'McLeodian aircraft, I am transmitting Aircraft Autopilot Codes for autolanding, in ATT100 format.' (the same used on the AF-100, I beleive your aircraft -should- support them)

The aircraft slowed, and began its descent into Kuklinski field.

As the aircraft touches down, autoskids smoothly land and stop the transports (smooth landing everytime).

An armored limo awaits outside the aircraft, with the Attican Royal Symbol painted on each side.

Inside the limo is the most recent release of Attican News Weekly, the front page has the following on it:

Prince Michael stepped out of the aircraft, flanked by 4 large RPU agents, wearing the customary dark suits and sunglasses.

He walked down the steps and into the Limo, followed by his bodyguards. On sitting down, he noticed the newspaper, and picked it up to start reading the front page.

'Hmm. Interesting. Very interesting' he thought to himself.

The Limo drove thru the airport, in that itself took about 20 minutes. Then, the Limo went onto the Autobahn, and sped towards the Kaiser's Mansion at over 200mph.

OOC: Thats one hell of an engine in an armoured limo.


IC:

Prince Michael sat back, watching the scenery flash past, thinking about what he was going to say to the Kaiser when he reached the Mansion.

The Limo began slowing down, and took the exit towards the mansion. As the limo headed towards the mansion's gates, a number of protesters, called 'Hippies', were staging a protest. Guards had to let the car into the mansions lot.

Prince Michael followed the first two bodyguards out of the Limo as it pulled to a halt. He glanced towards teh building in front of him, and began walking inside, deep in thought.

OOC: Oxythane is safer, and similar in power.

IC: Inside the mansion, Prince Michael saw all the grandeur of the Attican Royal family, as the butler escorted him to the Kaiser's chambers.

OOC: Yes, but hydrogen is slightly easier to get hold of once the process is refined.


IC:

'Cheap tat' Michael thoguht as he walked through the hallways, 'nothing like the Royal Palace at home, with its glorious decorations and magnificent grounds.'

He continued to follow the butler, until he entered the chamber containing the Kaiser.

"Your excellency" he said softly, "I require and audience with you in private for a few minutes."

The kaiser turned around, looking horribly, scruffy, et cetera.

Butler: "Kaiser Michael Kuklinski, I announce Prinz Michael, of McLeod."

Kaiser: "Good evening, Prinz Michael."

OOC: Well there have a few small explosions in remote test labs. *Cough-cough*

"Good evening sir. I'm not entirely sure how to say this, so i will be blunt. We have reason to believe that some members of your Cabinet are attempting to corrupt you and that the reasons for this war they provided you are utterly false.

These men are Tory party-members, and strongly anti-FPC. I implore you to end hostilities immediately, and undergo a major cabinet reshuffle. Here is a list of those we suspect are involved. Obviously, i will not disclose my sources, but the information is very reliable.

If this war does not end soon, someone will make a mistake, and our country's will once more end up at war with each other. PLease, call a cease-fire now, even if only to investigate this evidence." he said, not allowing the Kaiser a chance to interrupt.

Outside, one of the RPU agents offers an Attican guard a cigarette and joked in fluent Attican "I hope those two know what's going on and can sort it out quickly. We get treated like mushrooms. Keep them in the dark and feed them on shi.."

"John, don't say it." said another agent

The Attican Guard refused the cigarette. 'Besides the fact that I don't smoke, it is illegal to smoke in public.'

In chambers:

"I am well aware of this, but it is currently out of my control, the Reichstag is currently controlled by the Tory party, and until they feel that Attica will lose, I am a helpless victim of their deceit. The makers of the Constitution never added a clause for this.

The Reichstag has already begun issuing warrants on ones obviously involved, but the major players have yet to be arrested, as no evidence has yet been found.

I have also been receiving disturbing reports from Deutscher Reich about terrorism there an... what was that?"

In the darkness, a figure moved out the window. The Kaiser walks over to check it out.

Prince Michael also notices the movement, and, naturally suspicious, moves quickly towards the Kaiser, pulling him back away from the window.

"GET DOWN" he shouted.

The Kaiser gets down just in time. A rain of bullets flies thru the window, just missing the Kaiser and the Prinz. The Attican guard hears the shots, and rushes in, gun drawn.

By the time the guard got in, the suspect had escaped. On the radio, the guard said 'Secure the palace perimeter, suspect spotted.'


The Guard helped the Kaiser up, then told the Prinz:
"It might be best if you stay in Attica. Who knows what these terrorists are capable of?"

On hearing the shout from the Prince, the RPU agents stormed the room, guns drawn, two rushing to the widnow and firing at the fleeting figure, the others covering the Prince and dragging him out of the room.

"Eagle 9, Eagle 9, this is Fox, we are Juno, repeat, we are Juno. Send assistance ASAP." one of the guards shouted into his mic.

"I'm sorry sir" said the Prince "but this country has fallen into ruin once more. If you want our help i need your promise now that you will end the war and pull out of all occupied territory"

Three MV-44s began their take-off routines, two full of Royal Marines, the other modified for VIP transport. In the background, 4 AF-100s and a lone MB-1C also start up to act as escorts.

They will arrive within the hour.

Kaiser: "You know I cannot do that!"

Guard: "I must suggest that you both remain here!"

Elsewhere:

Attican troops near Liliansk.

"Very well" replied the Prince "Then you may consider any form of alliance between our nations null and void. this will be the last tiem we meet until this crisis is resolved."

"I will not allow you to detain the Prince any further with your pointless insistance guard" said John, "he is far safer out of this hell-hole than in it".

The Guard, losing his temper, punched John in the face. Another Attican guard grabbed him. "Calm down!"

10 AF-100s of Deutscher Reich take off towards Attica, another 10 towards FPC. The Attican fuel line went up in a blaze as Deutscherian soldiers attacked it.

The Federation forwards recon images of the burning fuel lines to FPC and McLeodian leadership. Space-based radar tracks the Deutscher Reich AF-100s and a general alert is sounded to Federation allies.

The AF-100s first fire 4 missiles at various Attican Government buildings, which go up in puffs of smoke. They then turn towards the still under-construction Attican Seabase. 20 AF-110s are launched to intercept them. In FPC, the AF-100s head towards any FPC government buildings they might find.

The SAM sites fire their missiles at the AF-100s. Since the Deutscherians were cheap and using bare-bone models, they didn't stand much of a chance.

The Federation State Department revokes recognition of Deutscher Reich as a sovereign nation while the Secretary-General orders two submarines from the Tiamat Battle Group to circle around towards Deutscher Reich waters to scout the area.

OOC: any messages to my governement will need to be sent trough normal mail (paper) because all radios and stuff are down.

In times of crisis, desperate measures are needed.

That is why our Prime minister, Yuri Gagarini has declared the national conscription: every man or woman, between the ages of 16 to 50 must enrol in the national army. They will be formed into guards reserves and will defend the Quebec river case of further defeats around Liliansk. (check map)

In other news, at Liliansk, Reformists armieshave arrived and have begun to entrench and fortify this important trading city. All citizens able to bear arms have been given weapons and the other have been sent behindthe Quebec river. In total, more than 8 million people will take part in the defence of Liliansk, and it's surroundings.

It is great that our soldiers excel in urban warfare since the coming fights will be mostly in cities. Now, for the casualty list for yesterday and today:

The Attican scout car approaches a checkpoint held by FPCian soldiers. Eventhough the Atticans are coming in peace (orange flag), the FPCians do not know that since they have never know anything about the orange flag meaning peace.

As the scout car approaches, reformists soldiers hide in bushes and small road side trenches and hiden pillboxes near the base. As the scout car appears, the soldiers begin firing on it (18 M4, 3 M60 & 1 rocket launcher).

OOC: Our scout vehicles are modified Cheetahs :)

IC: The scout vehicle easily takes the bullet hits, but the rocket hit knocks out it's left side, and engulfes it in flame. It's 3 crew jump out of the hatch, just before the Cheetah blows up. The crew put their arms up.

The crew are handcuffed and taken inside the base. The scout car's fire is extinguished and the car itself is towed inside the base to see if parts can be saved and reused.

Back to prisonners: no one in the base can speak Attican, so, they are escorted to a truck where they will be transfered to a bigger base near Liliansk where there are translators...

Meanwhile: Several Attican infantry divisions are pulled back to fight Deutscher Reich, while the heavy Panzer divisions (composed of King Leopards and Stadtpanzers) begin a strike on Liliansk at full speed.

OOC: Stadtpanzers are literally City Tanks. They are slow, low profile, and very heavily armored, easily taking most tank and rocket shots. They are designed for urban combat.

the 3 crew members arrive in an undisclosed base. They are sitted in a small room.

4 men enter. One, who is called Kombayn begins to speak:

"Where are you from? What are your objectives? What is the position of your armies? Why did you come this far with a small scout car?"

He then awaited an answer.

"We are from Attican DivSecHQ.We are here to open negotiations with FPC officials. We don't know. See #2. How are you?"

Another reformist soldier takes Kombayn out of the room. He comes back and begins to speak in Attican but with a thick FPC accent:

"Sorry for the behavious of my colleauge. Now, what did you guys came for?"

"We came with an offer for a truce from the Kaiser himself."

The three MV-44s speed towards the Attican border, passing near to the semi-constructed sea-base, just as the Deutscher Reich attack reaches it.

"Jesus Christ" snapped Prince Michael, "Those are AF-100s attacking the sea base. Dispatch our escorts to help the defenders, it seems the Atticans are under heavy attack. See if the StealthHawks are worth all that money. Contact MAFCCP, send reinforcements, and inform tehm that the Atticans might not be responsible after all."

The escorting Af-100s broke formation, flanked by two StealthHawk UCAVs. The MV-44s landed in a nearby field, Marines flocking out, and Prince Michael himself picking up a rifle before leading the men towards the site, to help out anyone injured in the attack.

"For Glory and the King, men" he shouted. "For the King" came the reply.

The AA guns and SAM site fired on the Deutscher Reich AF-100s, as 5 high-altitude AF-110s dropped down to fire on them.

"What are those blips?"
"I do not know sir, they have no ID markings, but they appear to be Attican designs."
On radio: "AF-100s, identify yourself."

The first tanks are hit hard by the mines, but the Stadtpanzers easily take the mines.

As the stadpanzers go deeper into the mine field, they are met by an artillery barrage. Nearly 1,000 canons are firing at the tanks from bunkers, small gun emplacements or in open plains.

The Federation covert support team in FPC reestablishes contact with Gagarini and his staff. They hand deliver images from the front showing the Deutscher Reich attacks and satellite pictures showing the burning Attican fuel line. A personal request from the Secretary-General for authorization to launch strikes on Deutscher Reich military facilities and a set of eight satellite phones is included. The satellite phones are intended to give Gagarini and his advisors restored contact with the outside world.

Immediately upon receiving confirmation from Gagarini, Secretary-General Brown sends the attack order to the Tiamat. Directed by AeroScout UAVs from the Tiamat, the Orca-class and Neptune-class attack submarines launch cruise missile strikes at the two largest Deutscher Reich airbases and the Deutscher Reich air defense network. A total of 200 cruise missiles are fired.

All but eight carry plasma-yield warheads - those eight are equipped with thermite jelly ejectors and directed at the airbase runways and taxi strips. Instead of cratering the runways like submunitions, these weapons are more insidious as they eat away the runway surface and whatever might come across... tires, shoes, etc.

As you might have been aware, I, and my loyal staff, have been set up by members of the Tory party, and the Deutscherians (And, possibly, members of the former Imperialist FPC), into starting a mindless war with FPC in which many people have been killed for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Deutscher Reich has already begun sequential invasions of Attica and FPC, and even though I am pulling back my units, it appears the Tory party has given obsolete Attican hardware to them. They seem to be equipped with Leopard 2s, Leopard 2Ms, AF-100s, Cheetahs, and, in the rivers, they have Light Patrol Boats. We request that you commence bombing raids on military targets, specifically airbases, so their raids against Attican and FPCian civilian targets can be lessened, or possibly even nullified.

IC: Deutscher Reich

In the cruise missiles attacks on Deutscher Reich, 60% of the nations airbases were hit. Out of 600 AF-100s, 320 were knocked out. A large number of runways were immolated.

Deutscherian Infantry and Armored units begin launching missiles into Obnama, the nearest Attican city, in order to wear the garrison down. Militial resistance has brought down the army from it's original number of 250,000 to 230,000. Manufacturing Plants in Deutscher Reich have finally been convinced to switch to manufacturing arms and weapons. The Army in FPC, numbering around 800,000, is moving towards the Attican troops falling back. They are being put into what would appear to many to be an odd position, but having knowledge of Attican tactics and strategy, will likely cause many of the Attican soldiers to be killed and/or captured.

More AF-100s are being launched daily, many modified into the so called AF-100B, equipped with 50,000lbs of Incendiary Bombs, being dropped on Attican Cities. Already, 5000 have been dropped on Obnama, 2000 have been dropped on Attica City, 2000 on Zetrassen, 4000 on Listov, and 10,000 on the Attican Armies.

After several years of research, the AWR-120 Fighter is finally being put into use. In order to defend the Attican Homeland against the so-called Bomber-Fighters, many are being equipped with the new AMRAAM/ImRec missile. 300 AWR-120's have been fabricated, along with 2000 AF-120's in storage. Over 600,000 civilians have been killed in Attica and the captured provinces of Listovia/FPC.

The Secretary-General announced today that, at the request of the legitimate governments of the Attican and FPC people, the Federation will aid in the destruction of the Deutscherian invaders and eventual arrest of those reponsible for instigating the war.

The Tiamat Battle Group in Deutscherian waters begins an interdiction campaign against Deutscherian shipping and supply lines. Any cargo ships and warships flying the Deutscherian flag are targeted for destruction. Two Neptune-class heavy attack submarines, escorted by eight Orca-class attack submarines and their compliment of Manta unmanned sub attack craft, patrol Attican waters to hunt for those ships.

The Tiamat itself sends up four "Wraith" bombers equipped with ECM gear, anti-radiation missiles, and self-defense hypervelocity missiles to begin jamming and suppression of enemy air defense (SEAD) oeprations. The Wraiths are escorted by three XF-15 ACTIVE fighters each - also carrying laser jamming/blinding pods.

His Royal Majesty Frederick of Hohenzollern-Sigmarinen gladly wishes to have good relations with all nations of the world. We have suffered for to long, as you probably are aware of the happenings in Sigmarinen not long ago (OOC: my thread about the history of the realm).

Ambassadors will be sent as soon as the conflict is over, and once again peace is the order of the day.

Kahta will fill the lack of supplies in Attica by sending food to the soldiers. We will send 2 Million Standard US rations per day to attica. --The FPCian army in Listovia attacks the Deutschrian forces. The Listovian soldiers are armed with AK-47 & AK-74s but the FPCians are armed with M 16, M 4 & M 60.

The Tiamat Battle Group moves into position off the Listovian coast and provides air support for the beleaguered Listovian-FPC troops. The EB-4 "Wraith" SEAD bombers now focus on jamming Deutscherian fighter squadrons in the air.

Meanwhile, Deutscher Reichian night bombers continue to pound Attican Cities. They are jamming Attican Radars, meaning that are fighters are flying by visual ONLY.

Attican troops continue to retreat from FPC, troops in Listov and Liliansk are now well outside city limits.

The Deutscher Reichian troops outside of Listovia continue fighting the FPC/Listovian army. With Leopard 2s and G36 rifles, they appear to be moving forward.

The remaining Attican forces in Listovia are apparently fighting Deutscherian and Listovian forces sequentially.

Ten Advanced Tactical Transports depart from Port Alexandria to carry supplies and weapons to the Listovian forces. The cargo pallets include rifle ammunition, MREs, secure radios, laser designators for air-launched weapons, combat knifes, Claymore mines, rocket-propelled grenades, and anti-tank bazookas. While most of the weapons appear to be from the Federation retired reserve stock, they are all in good condition and operable. As the ATTs approach Listovia, they are escorted by fighters from the Tiamat Air Wing to their landing zones on the northern coast.

OOC: Attica, why would Attican forces fight Listovians if the war is over with FPC?

The Listovian fighters and partisan units are relieved to receive equipement from ACS.

Meanwhile, the FPCian armies continue to retake FPC. They are right behind Atican troops.

In Listovia, the 4th army attacks Listov (assuming there are still Deuthscrians...if not, then I retake it). After retaking the capital of Listovia, they will continue to push the invaders out of the commonwealth.

IC: Once the jeep arrives, the sign the FPC driver sees is horrendous. 3 AF-100s fly out of the sky, all three dropping incendiaries on the base. The base is engulfed in flame...

IC2: Finally, Attican fighters have made signifigant gains in the air war. 2 AWR-120s successfully intercepted and destroyed 15 AF-100s, using the AmRAAM/ImRec Cluster Missiles. Although it might not seem signifigant, it is a great morale boost for the Attican troops, who are still being beleagured on both sides of the conflict.

Deutscherian Airfields.

The FACS Consulate in the Attican capital begins delivering intel reports and satellite imagery on Deutscherian troop and aviation movements to the War Ministry.

The Abraxas Special Forces Unit on board the Tiamat begins final preparations for a deep cover armed reconnaissance mission.

The first Deutscherian bombers appear over Attica City.

Although prompty shot down, 3 AF-100-Bs were seen flying over Attica City.

The Advanced Tactical Transports on the coast of Northern Listovia also carry with them equipment for setting up expeditionary launch and recovery bases. The crews immediately set to work at establishing these temporary bases once the Listovian supplies are offloaded and delivered. While air patrols from the Tiamat provide cover, the Galapagos moves in closer to shore to begin transferring VTOL aircraft and troops to the expeditionary bases.

In the gloom of the moonless night the dark shapes of the Crookfur task group can be barely made out.

focussing closely on group one might notice the slight movement as a trafalgar class submarine comes upto missile depth.

On board CNS agamenon Admiral White looks on in satisfactian as the latest satilite info comes up on his display and idnicators turn green to announce that all the launch vessels have had thier fireplans updated, he glances quicly at the main deck clock as it slowly moves towards the 1am mark.

As the clock tics onto 1am, the night sky is instantly illuminated as each vessel adds its missile payload to the storm assending in it's journey to the target, while the individual ship launchs are spectactular they pale beside the sheer fury that is englufing the 2 asrenal ships, Reaper and Bloodletter as each belchs 200 missiles into the air.


Sumary:

500 cruise missiles (own brand, similar to tomahawk but slightly more accurate, faster and less observable).
All targeted at Deutscherian airfields, enough submuntion warheads to completely crater each runway and dispersal area twice, the remainder are a mix of BROACH and Hard target defeat thermobaric warheads, aimed at airfeild C3 and hanger spaces.


As the missile are halfway to thier target a flight of 4 B-71X bombers begins assent on the engagement skip of thier mission (ie based on how the SR-71 skips up and down) on thier course they will reach optimal engagement alltitude right over their targets.

They will drop (or have dropped now) 2 FAE each at Deutscherian rear area, supply and assembly points (each bomb is about the size of a pheonix missile so should be fairly powerful).
unfrotunatly 2 fail to function properly one detonates far too early merely lighting up the night sky while another suffers from another premature detoantion but this time on target but before full air mixing occurs leading to incomplete combustion (basically creates a huge yellow fireball that does nasty injuries instead of blowing things up).

The first air raids hit Attica City. 40 AWR-120s were in the air, against over 400 AF-100-Bs with 600 AF-100 escorts. How they amassed such numbers, we are not yet sure. 250 of the bombers were knocked out, and 35 AWR-120s were knocked out, but they did signifigant damage to the city. The Vampiric Dominion militia is being transported to Attica City to aid in defense.

On the eastern front, the Deutscherian panzer divisions, comprised of Leopard 2Ms, Leopard 2A6s, and King Leopards (stolen) mounts an assault on Listov, against the Attican and Listovian garrison there (who, by the way, are still fighting against each other as well). It is likely they will take the city by nightfall. Several western FPC towns have fallen to Deutscher Reich, and now the Attican Arms is sandwiched between two hostile armies, being shot at and being inside the crossfire.

IC: Finally, after hours of debate, it is agreed to help protect FPC and Attica from the DR onslaught. Bomber Command is put on gold alert, the second highest alert status.

48 EB-1C Lancer 2s armed with 10 Wolverine missiles each launch to attack DR ground forces in FPC, Listovia, and Attica. They are escorted by 4 AL-52s and 72 F-98s.

24 EB-2Ds launch, equipped with SLAMs fitted with 1100lb incendary warheads, and 4 MAMRAAMs, targetting military bases and troop conecntrations inside DR itself.

The final wave of some 60 EB-52Gs take off, fully armed.

At each of the ten expeditionary bases now established on the coast, 22 F/A-34 "Gremlin" VTOL fighters and 36 MHJ-101 "Talon" Assault HeliJets begin alert patrols in conjunction with U/F-11 UCAVs and XF-15 ACTIVE fighters from the Tiamat. Three Seacrest-class Mod 2 destroyers move into the littoral to provide heavy artillery support for the Ground Forces.

The Ground Forces set up repair and resupply areas for the 20 "Wolverine" MBTs, 44 Nautilus Armored Gyrobikes, 8 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System trucks, sixteen High Mobility Artillery Gun Systems, twelve High Mobility Air Defense System trucks, and 32 "Wasp" Close Air Support power armor units deployed at each base. 135 "Panther" Autonomous Infantry Machines and 35 Artillery Rocket Machine - Advanced System (ARMAS) are also set up at each base to provide the unmanned ground attack vehicle compliment. I'm afraid you have no choice but to comite troops for fighting the Deutschrians. They have attacked you, your protector (Attica)... wheter you like it or not, your are in this. Intense bombing has begun over Attica City by the Deutscherian Bombers. However, with Kahtan troops in Attica, and the FPC troops halting their attacks on Attican troops, the remaining Attica troops (20% were killed, which is a lot) are now beginning to attempt a push against Deutscherian troops at Liliansk.

Also, the Kaiser has relieved the current Chief of the General Staff on Reichsgehemdienst suspisions that he was part of the plot, and the fact that he had not used Attican airpower to it's full potential. The new Chief has guaranteed that ALL airpower will be used to combat Deutscherian Bombers. On that note, 600 AWR-120s escorting 400 AB-100s (heavy bombers) are moving towards Deutscher Reich, ready to bomb the major cities (such as Berlinburg).

A new invention: Attican factories have begun producing King Leopard and Leopard 2M panzers equipped with diamond interlaced composite armor. This is much more survivable then the improved Chobham used on the current tanks. This technology is expected to be used on production aircraft, within the week (1 RL day for this war I guess...)

The two Advanced Tactical Transports drop the Abraxas SF Unit just behind the Deutscherian side of the border with Listovia according to HALO (High-Altitude-Low-Opening) procedure and then divert back towards the expeditionary bases.

The strike waves reach their targets, launching cruise missiles and stand-off land attack missiles at the Deutscherian troops and bases.

On the ground, the 2nd Royal Dragoons mount up from the base in FPC, heading towards Listovia, with the aim to punch through the Deustcherian troops then encircle behind them and trap the forces between the hammer of the Dragoons and the anvil of FPC and EL CID THE HERO.

With a loud rumble, and the squeaking of many sprockets and wheels, the armoured column moves out, diesel fumes staining the air, and tank tracks tearing up the fields and roads.

65 T-96 MBTs, supported by 32 Griffon mine-sweepers, and 115 M3A2 Bradley AFVs filled with infantry, medics, and combat engineers, are involved in the attack.

Elements of the AAC-CGS squadron will provide supporting fire for the advance, and continue to attack strongholds and armoured vehicles. A total of 24 A-10s, 6 AC-130Js, and 35 Kl-55s are launched.

Artillery support is provided by the Kings Royal Artillery Regiment, in the form of 12 203-mm towed field guns, 24 125-mm towed field guns, and 24 MRLS platforms.

The column punches out into Listovia, heading for a weak-point in the Deutscherian line.


Three MV-44s also leave the base, coated with low-visibility paint, flying low and fast towards the insertion point for the Abraxas unit. THe transports are filled with NSOC commandos, equipped for around five days of fighting without support.

I didn't say they are in Liliansk, I said they were pushed away from Liliansk, IE, they were pushed back from it, so they could not take it.

The Deutscherian manufacturing and aircraft facilities have been utterly devestated. On the eastern front, FPC and Attican troops are pushing them back to the border. On the western front, they have been forced into a stalemate with Attican/Kahtan troops. On the home front, intense bombings have left their major cities in ruin.

In conjunction with McLeodian special forces, the Abraxas Unit conducts stealthy recon of key Deutscherian strategic points and infrastructure. They map terrain contours and plant laser designators for impending air strikes, all the while avoiding detection as best as possible by moving at night and in staggered pairs.

FPCian armies made remarkable progress since the Attican largely fell back. They mostly took back huge chunks of land in the South-Eastern part of the country.

All along the defensive line in FPC, generals have orders for trenches and all sorts of defence devices to be built to slow down and hopefully stop the advance of the Deutscherian troops.

OOC: Big mistakes. The Atticans invaded from the north and south, we arent going to retreat to the north. We still are on thin films of land stretching north to south, and the Deutscherians own that to the Attican border.

In Attica, a combined Attican-Kahtan force has made a major breakthru in the trench warfare of northern Attica. The army has broken thru the lines, and is on it's way towards Obnama. It is 100km away from the city. Bombers have been diverted somewhat in order to bomb the enemy positions in the city.

Obnama has been liberated!
At 9:00PM today, Attican Troops marched thru the city center of Obnama! Deutscherian forces are in full retreat on the western front. Their armor (Leopard 2s, 2Ms, and 3s) are not having good success against diamond-interlaced composite armor, and therefore are having heavy losses. It is expected they might attempt to mount one last ditch effort to attack, however. Attican forces are 300km from the Deutscherian national border on the western border. Missiles are being fired (Cruise and non-nuclear ICBMs), as well as intense bombing raids on the major cities. Without supplies, the people of Hamlin and Vienburg are near-starving due to the lack of supplies.

Twenty Federation Aerospace Forces EB-7 "Dragon" bombers based out of Nova City AFB begin dropping precision-guided munitions on the targets lased by the designators put in place by the Abraxas unit.

A lone EB-2C Spirit rolled down the runway of the James III AFB. Its two man crew checked and re-checked calculations, and constantly checked the precious cargo held inside the bomb-bay.

The engines came to life, and within minutes the EB-2 had disappeared over the horizon. With little else to do but sit back and wait, the crew watched as miles of water simply rolled past below them.

The cargo bay held a rotary launcher fitted with 6 missiles. 2 were experimental Thunder AAMs, hypersonic radar guided missiles fitted with plasma-yield warheads, and 2 were "non-lethal" Wolverines, carrying a payload of a substance that seemed to be extremely adhesive.

The last two missiles carried much larger plasma-yield warheads, large enough to wipe out an underground command centre with ease, or decimate around 12 city blocks.

A B-2 has taken off from an airbase in southern Kahta. It's target is Hamlinn, a major military city. The cargo load? A single presision guided Mk-82 with a new warhead, an EMP warhead taken from an AIM-120. IT's range is 1 mile and will target military buildings.

In a show of truely outstanding flying Crookfur Fleet air arm forces (mix of 60 Double dragons, 36 Dragon pearls, 24 upgraded harriers and 48 EA220 JTBs (crookfur name: darkwing) ) have been carrying out constant CAS missions on Deutscherian postions, being expertly giuded by Crookfur light infantry teams.

Crookfur light forces have also been involved in direct engagements with Deutscherian elements with the goth gunship and Koshi light tnak offering outstnading service. unfortunatly anumber of Crookfur soldiers have los tthier lives in action.

Well, you could go right ahead, but B2s arent stealthy enough. Advanced Radar systems like Attica has easily detect them and F117s... don't use nukes though, if you do, you would be counter-nuked.

I don't have any. Only plasma yield, which is different in that the size of the explosion is variable to an extent.

As the B-2 approached, some 48 F/A -18E Super Hornets rushed towards the border, before ripple firing anti-radiation misisles at the area around the border.

The missiles homed in on any active radar source, and were programemd to loiter in the area until systems re-activated o rhtey ran out of fuel.

As the missiles reached the target sector, the B-2 crossed the border, hoping the confusion would provide enough cover to get in, launch, then get out again.

As dawn breaks the first elements of the 2nd ready division begin arriving at the hastaly cosntructed off loading facility constructed by Crookfur marines and APC units, the transports begin offloading thier cargo of heavy armour and artillery.

4th ready and 7th armoured divisions are still to arrive but will likely deploy in direct support of FPCian forces.

As the Mcleodian forces began thier air raid a massive wing of super vulcans lift off from bases throughout Crookfur. The armada consists of 1 squadron (12 aircraft to a squadron) of EW varients (basically giant flying antenas that can brown most radars), 2 squadrons of SEAD varients (lots of ECM gear and mixed payload of ALARMs and stand off muntions), and 4 squadrons of plain bombers (all with PGM muntions, mix of JDAMS, paveway4I and WCMDs) they will be targeting fuel and ammuntion supply points and any availble C3 assets.
(bascially once Mcloed is through a real shock and awe bombing mission will follow, any airdefenses left emitting by Mcleod in addition to passive defenses will get a good pasting).

Remeber that you have 24/7 CAS availble, feel free to give my ground teams targets.

As the FPCian barrage begins a flight of 4 Goth gunships manouvers into postion, thier millimetric wave radars searching for targets.
Once in position the Goths pop up and each launches a 10 rocket salvo of APKWS2 rockets into Deutscherian postions before moving on to it's next hide (basically they can do this 4 times before returning to rearm, of course they can also engage heavier targets with thier Hellfire 2Xs (6 each and deal with strong points using thermo baric hellfires (2 each)) and there are 4 such flights so i can have a group in action at all times.

They are staying well back (about 3-5km from the front) and using cover so they should be very very difficult to hit with airdefenses (which of course are prime targets for the Goths and CAS missions.

OOC: You are aware it would take a HUGE amount of power to run an EM wave that had a wavelength of a millimeter? Besides the fact that it would literally fry anyone you shod it at....

All of the Deutscherian cities, except for Brelinburg, have been captured. Massive bombardments, surface and air, have begun on Brelinburg.

Following the apparent Rout of Deutscherian forces and thier withdrawl to Brenlinbrug the Crookfur forces advance forward to psotions over looking the city and begin adding to the bombardment with thier massed batteries of 160mm guns. Undercover of night and the constant bombardment special forces and rpyal engineer units make thier way forward to scout out defenses and quietly neutralise what they can (mainly minefeilds and i should note that crookfur takes particular pride in thier sappers so we should be clear of mishaps, even if frag wire is in use (razor wire with a small blasting core that explodes when you touch it)), a larger scale non quiet plan is begining to be formulated (ie FAEs and Mega pythons (bigger versions of grand viper that get towed behind our gilgameshes) to clear mine feilds and genrally blow stuff up).

IC: Attican Troops have taken the capitol building. For the first time in 20 years, Brelinburg has had an Attican Flag fly over it. The war is deemed over by analysts, and troops are being deployed to act as a police force to pacify the region.

But now that the war is generally over, blame has to be placed. The Reichstag is attempting to put blame on the Kaiser, stating that he warmongered and caused the war for his own personal gain. I will permit the construction of a maximum of 4 plants and 2 retaillers in FPC as a test. If your cars prove to be popular and non-polluting, I will ask the senate to vote on allowing the wide sale of Attican made cars to FPCians. However, another condition, all of the workers in those plants must be Attican citizens that will be housed in specialy built "mini-towns" near the plants themselves. That way, they'll be able to live a life inside another country without the constant travel.
