Like someone else pointed out a while ago on one of the forums, no one can really call a war in NS a world war, since a world war includes a vast majority of the nations, and this would be practically impossibly given the number of nations in NS. Oh, and about the number, I guess The Macabees just picked one. But basically, this is just a bunch of people that signed up for this.

i have a new map done... its a bit bigger than the last (ie more room for detail) and includes the whole theater... will have it uploaded when VX is on...

It's all been added. I'd like to encourage people to make sure you're on top of everything that's going on... for example, Largent, in moving a fleet from the Indian Ocean around Africa, may not have been fully aware that he passed by three large fleets en route. (Not to point fingers, but that could well have been the case.)

And would someone wake up that guy who picked Palmero/Sicily? I've got a lot of stuff going on right next to him, and it'd be nice if we could tell what was going on with him. 8)

1). This is a basically closed RP, mostly available to larger nations (the smallest one I have seen is more than twice your size).

2). The actions taken in Germany by us have nothing to do with you.

3). I highly doubt that there are no nations on NS that came before you without "Germany" in their name. You can use Germany as a setting for your RPs, but just because we use Europe, including Germany, does not mean you are involved.

Also, as on of my last major expansions, I have taken control off all of Algeria (Except the Ahaggar Mountains or the Southeast), All of Mauritania except the Southeastern part where a local government has been installed. The Canary Islands and Western Sahara (The Country below Morocco).

Have taken Armenia and Georgia, with a few foward elements in northern iran when the next map is updated.

Some of us aren't quite aware of everything that's going on , yes... but some of us, such as myself, are perfectly capable of understanding everything that's going on at once.

It's perfectly OK for your forces to have responded to all the posturing and moving around by buckling down into a defensive posture.

WWVIII, according to DT, was a cheap space warfare type thing... I think I saw it once and then it fell into the pit of the next 10 different forum pages...

oh... just a small reminder, Tahar Joblis is always acting in new and unusual ways and keeping you on your toes. I added a second thread of mine tonight to deal more in depth with a particular operation that deserved... well, extra writing.

Whoa, gone a day and my entire flank has collapsed, what the hell happened.

it was protected by macabees right? he and me lost 2M troops each, then i flanked him...

He was co-defending the line with me all along the Ourgla-Mopti Line, but the line that went along the Niger River was strictly defended by me. Not saying an attack would fail, in all likelihood it would succeed (Only 2 Corps defending), but not quite so bloodless or a disaster for me

Alright, just to make my life easier (and I will do the same for anyone else), if you do something that in any way involves me, TG me to check the thread, otherwise chances are I won't see it.

I've posted diplomatic communiques replying to IP and TM messages in the Madrid and TJ thread; the Long March thread has also been updated, and I've posted an initial response (requiring some further interaction from Largent and SAVX) in the Largent thread. Soon the fruits of their mission will come to affect the larger theatre. I'll try and remember to post some of the relevant equipment that will probably see action soon in my grand old naval expansion thread, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.

Which Nazi nation? Nazi Deutschland Axis? The NJA-NDA war? If you mean that it finished well with a massive annexation of land on my part... I took 7 million sq. mi. from the region and still have something like 100,000 troops occupying the three provences carved out it.

Gaaahh!! Why did Largent quit? But otherwise for the war, yes it has slowed down a lot. But Malatose and I are duking it out in Southern Russia and Kazakhstan. Entertaining to me at least.

Largent quit 'cause it's been so slow. I've been extremely busy with homework, so I haven't been able to do much lately. It might be best to start a new war...but that's just my opinion.

Yah. I'd say the main problem here was a general lack of motivation for having a war between the various nations.

i would have been happy to keep going, but i expected that everyone would stand alone - with an occasional tactical ally, effectively still fighting everyone else tho. I think it died due to the huge alliances which make it impossible to attack someone as you have to take on all their partners as well.... It works much better for example:
a is attacking b, and being attacked by c

b and c are not allies

a sees it is loosing too much, turns on c, and gets a temporary alliance from b as a condition of the peace treaty.

c is being pushed back due to the unexpected turn

b turns on a cause they attacked before, and arnt expecting it now.

c allies with a to defend


and so on :-)
