OOC: This is Macabean technology and a Macabean armored line, this doesn't follow the German tank line.

Nebuchadnezzar

Macabean Panzerwaffe Industries is producing a stable 20,000 per year, if demand is hot or 200 per year if demand is low. The Panzer VIII incorporates the best of the Merkava 4 with new techniques and features invented by Macabean engineers. The Nebuchadnezzar is offered for export, without production rights, for 6 million USD each, bulk order (2,000 +) with a discount of 10%.

Armaments

Main Gun: 140mm smooth bore with a Viaco thermal shroud reducing the bending of the barrel, due to high heat or enviromental features. Internal "R" rings, a technique solely used by Macabean engineers, reduces recoild by supressing the rear firing mechanism. Then the muzzle reacts in order to propell the rounds at magnificent speeds, knocking out up to 2,000mm of armor, and having an effective range of 5,000 meters. The tank hold 60 mixed rounds.
>>>munitions<<<
1. Conventional 140mm Anti-tank piercing rounds
2. HEAT-MP T M325 rounds
3. Macabean Heavy Rounds

MG's: The top gunner and the commander, both, have M90's. The M90 is a 40mm rapid firing heavy machinegun capable of cooling in under 20 seconds after firing over 3,000 rounds continously. The gun is made to cut down in droves and to be effective until all enemies are down. The tank hold over 30,000 rounds of ammunition.

HVM-1 Rockets: Two of these are fittent in the rear. The MVM-1 (Maximum Velocity Missiles) acts as a mortar equal to a dimater of 500mm using heavy explosives in the warhead. They have a range of 76km making them useful when the tanks are advancing. The rocket launchers are capable of retracting to 270 degrees in order to reduce the profile of the tank.

60mm Mortar: The mortar fires illuminary rounds at 2,000 meters and standard 60mm mortars.

Fire and Control

The Nebuchadnezzar computer can lock on and fire on the move and at moving targets. The system includes sigh stabilizers upon two axis, a thermal tracker, and a dynamic cant angle indicator. Inter-communication systems work on two channels, between tanks and between the crew members. They are relatively safe from enemy spy radios, and such.

Engine

V-18 diesel engine rated at 1,800 horsepower can move the tank at a max speed of 57mph. Two fuel tanks in the rear and on et the front. Max distance of 423km and six gear transmission.

Hull Improved frontal armor with increased driver field of view. A camera improves rear view. Modular special armor protects the turret while the front has 900mm of armor, well sloped. The underside is fitted with limited armor to protect against mines. Tests have seen the armor block air to ground missiles as well as conventional AT missiles.

Crew

Commander, Top Gunner, Loader, Gunner, and Driver.
Carries an additional 6 soldiers and 2 stretchers.
4 hatches have been installed.

Dark Terror has a 135mm gun with a shorter turret, therefore not packing the punch this one has...and of course it lacks the "R" rings and the muzzle technology.

A 120mm or a 125mm ETC cannon is as good as a 140mm. So why not use that?

Because with the "R" rings the recoil is supressed while the speed is increased.

OOC: "R" rings are Macabean inventions just for your knowledge.

Still, the reduction in caliber means more rounds can be held at less weight.

OOC:

1) Damn, :x he isn't a painter or a drawer give him a break.
2) If you have comments to make about his tank that actually do something to improve it, your welcome to say something. However if you are just coming in his storefront to say "My tank owns your tank  " without telling why, well shut the hell up and get out.

135mm ETC=160mm non ETC.

Some suggestions and comments:
Nice main gun, you are smart enough to avoid the lure of an ETC, which btw ppl happens to need a decently large electrical system and liquid-based, accident-prone, ammo to fire. WOOO GO CONVENTIONAL!!
Get a co-axial gun, everyone has them.
40mm is ridiclously huge, thats larger than the Gau 8/A Avenger on the A-10.
Unless you have forced cooling or some type of low-heat ammo, 3,000 rounds of ammo will require much longer to cool from.
Carrying 30,000 ammo would require a large semi truck.
76km missiles have almost no use on a tank, unless you have targets that you need to regularly engage at those ranges, you are wasting fuel.

1. Never make fun of someones artitstic skills. I'll be watching your nation.
2. Mac, nice tank, but bigger does not mean better. In the case of world war one, 57.9mm guns were deemed good tank killers because they could build up large pressure behind the round, launching it faster.
