General Lavikidos is one of the rising stars of the Argyri Army, which is why he holds such a prestigious position. Once in position, he can help provide the proper advice for your military, though at this point it will obviously be somewhat limited due to your small size. Unfortunately, I am not a tactician myself, so I cannot say what he will tell you yet, but I am sure he is the man for the job.

-----Message from General Lavikidos-----

Dear Honored Sirs,

I am honored to be invited to help develop your tactics and military, and anticipate my arrival to occur sometime tomorrow. However, I am wondering if you can inform me as to what role you see your military having...is it purely defensive, offensive, both?

I will analyze the information you give me so that I may offer the best advice possible.

REPLY NOTICE TO : General Petros Lavikidos

Our military forces will be purely defence forces, no attack power is even planned. Yes we realise that our forces are small, but it is developing in slow pace. Once we accuire basic training and skills for these troops it will be easyer to train our forces to come. We are small and quiet agricultural nation.

Our total man power including support personel and reserve is somewhere near 75,000 thousand men. No spesial units and no WMD's.

Dear Honored Sir-

I, of course, will review the situation when I am on the ground, but it seems as though your military would be best served by learning how to fight defensive actions that will delay enemy advances for long enough so that allied troops can intervene. This will likely be true for quite some time, as you are wisely limiting your military buildup until your country is secure in its foundations. I will fill in my general idea with more details when I arrive (OOC: I'm heading off).

if there are any other factors to be considered (i.e. internal opponents, rebels, terrorists, etc.), then please mention them as well.

I look forward to my visit.

Respectfully yours,

General Petros Lavikidos

3rd Army of the Holy Republic of Argyres

Honourable Gen. Lavidikos In a reply to your communicee.

Curently we do not have any international disputes. Our nation is a "heaven to live" so we do not have any known terrorist groups operating
inside our borders. Police duties are handled by civilian police. Goverment is protected by CSA(Celttis Security Agency) and private sector has security companies.

Your recommendation for the training for "slowing up the enemy" fighting tactics is welcomed.

We will also pay your transport fees for a group of 25,000 thousand soldiers and needed equipment, to here and back home.

As the sun set around the Kazaarian special communications base. A message was drafted.

"Hmm... i proposei go with team Sting. Send a reply... NOW!!" The last but was bellowed to anyone with in a 40 metre adius... unfortunately for the people in the comms room they where in a 36m room with steel walls... (the echoes stopped after a minute or so)

At the Celttis special communications center...

Small number of trucks are closing our border control. As they slow down and stop at the check point border patrol officers notice that they have a mark of Kazaakistan military. There are a total of seven trucks as officers check thru paperwork few recruits go thru cargo carried by the trucks. There seems to be large number of unidentified tools and eguipment.

One of the officers moves to leading truck and starts questioning person sitting next to driver.
"What is the nature of your business here ? "
"We haven't had any communication from your government"
"We are conducting a large scale military exercise, few different nations are partisipating"

"I must decline your entry inside our borders until we get confirmation from your government"

" You are allowed to wait inside the "no mans land" next to Celttis official border"

Subject: Appologise

We are really sorry for the trouble we have caused to your spesialist team at our border. We seem to have had a communications brakedown in our communications central. Could you send a message to your spesialist team that they are more than welcome to enter our nation and take part in our joint military drill. Yet again we are very sorry.

As the clouds swirl around the runway, a small private jet surges earthwards, for once working with gravity instead of against it. Inside sits General Lavidikos, recently detained by the Camozayian occupation of Argyres, but currently en route to fulfill his promise to the government of Celttis.

"Demis, please gather as much information as you can about the Celttis military, as I will need it if I am to perform my usual miracle and train these no-nothings," Lavidikos barked. "I do not intend to waste my time, and I certainly hope you don't either."

Demis Nikoladis, the chief aide to the general, lurched out of his seat, eager to please, as always. Bowing low to the ground, he sidled off to his workstation, which every Argyri government jet was outfitted with, and began to frantically punch buttons in an effort to please his demanding and harsh master. Upon printing off the information, he handed it to the general, and subtlely moved himself towards the cockpit, where at long last he might enjoy even the briefest of peaceful moments.

"Good work, Demis." intoned Laviidikos. "We may yet make something of Celttis."

The general cooly bit on his cigar and leaned forward in his chair, his brain working at its usual frenetic pace to procure a brilliant idea from the rather dull and unenlivening data.

His back muscles clenching, he relaxed his body and returned to a seated position. There was still plenty of time, and he was the famed Lion of Argyres, a title he more than deserved from his previous service. A sly grin broke across his face as he took a puff off the cigar. There was still time.

The plane continued its path, and as the wheels touched the Earth once more, the highly-tuned machine jumped, and then settled into a comfortable taxi down the runway. The Argyris had arrived

As Demis Nikoladis punched thru his keyboard and Celttis military units started to come up his srceen he looked at the small numbers and started to smile. Units that he came up with were as fallows :

16 Humvees with 12.7mg
8 Humraam air defence system
12 fighter air crafts
6 SAR helo's

And few other peaces of equipment

Man power of 75,000 thousand men including support personel.

Demis hurried print to Gen Lavidikos he noded his head and started to smile "What am i supposed to teach to them " They are so small in numbers, not even tank or any other heavy equipment.

"Well" Demis sayd, no you can show to the world why you are number one General and why do people call you "The Tiger".

As plane came to terminal red carpet was being rolled out, band was setting up in the background. Celttis president, minister of defence and commander of armed forces waited in line for the planes doors to be opend. As General Lavidikos walked down the steps press started to take pictures, news cameras aimed to honourable guests.

OOC: I go to school and work as well, so I apologize for the long waits for my posts

IC:

Lavidikos smiled wanly as he glanced over the information. The Celttisians (?) had provided him with a barely passable living arrangement, where he had to share a tent with Demis, who at times was more aggravating than even the worst annoyance imaginable by others.

The first day of drills had not gone well, but that was to be expected, of course, as the CNA had no real experience, nor had any reason to have had assistance. As his eyes surveyed the data arrayed on the papers in front of him, he realized that he had his work cut out for him...he was far too used to commanding a modern and well-disicplined military, and had forgotten what it was like to command raw soldiers, too young to know that their profession led far more often to death and pain than the glory they dreamed of.

It was clear that the CNA could not expect its forces to be fully combat capable anytime soon, but with enough work they could easily be functional enough to delay an invader long enough for assistance to arrive.

'Where to start', pondered Lavidikos. 'So many needed improvements, so little time...'.

His sharp mind wrapped itself around one particular thought, and he grasped onto it. Tomorrow would be a new day, and with it would come a great deal of hope and progress

OOC AGAIN: I can read your posts just fine

Good morning, sir good morning, SIR! wakeup. Finally colonel Jar Rin woke and started to tear his eyes open. WHAT! Why do you wake me up in the middle of the night? General Lavidikos wants to talk to you. Col. Rin walked to Gen. Lavidikos tent and looked around, and saw quite a bit of mess. Did a bomb blow up in here? Gen. Lavidikos grimed toward his aid Demis and shouted. What did I tell to you? Do you remember? I told you to pickup your dirty laundry!

Gen. Lavidikos and. Col. Rin started to sum up yesterday’s happenings. Gen. Lavidikos told what everyone have noticed, Celttis troops where below average. There where so many things to do. Humvees where crashing together, infantry didn’t know witch way to hold their weapons, Helo’s didn’t know should they go up or down.

Only thing that went the way it was supposed to go was a HUMRAAM air defense missile targeting R/C controlled UAV’s. Hit rate for the first two missiles were 100%. Both missiles hit their designated targets.

We will be firing six more of these missiles. “Laserwar” vests are working quite fine, they send a “beep” when only minor hit has happened, “beeeeep” for fatal hit and a “blob” for a near miss.

Kazaakisthan forces have been doing “sabotage” missions behind enemy lines, cutting phone lines, placing mines on major roads, making it harder for support to operate. Our troops have been chasing them but with no luck so far.

The United Socialist States of Renard mechanized infantry troops have being operating with our 3rd infantry platoon, doing maneuvering exercises and giving our troops transport services needed.

Gen. Lavidikos probably has many ideas how to improve our troops and we are listening with our ears opened. Gen. Lavidikos we will be supplying to your use a motor home equipped with a freezer, TV, toilet, shower and sauna. Beds for four people.

Good morning to you all. I’m sending this exclusive report. Last night Celttis troops fired two HUMRAAM missiles targeted at R/C controlled UAV’s. Both missiles fired with awesome looking fire effect. Missile flight through the night sky was a beautiful sight to see. I will be giving more report as this drill progresses.

OOC: Big football game for my university today, so this is my one and only post for the day :)

IC:

Demis had noticed a shift in the general's behavior. No longer was he arrogantly strutting around his quarters; instead, he seemed contemplative, quiet, perhaps even taken aback by the difficulties he was having with his supposedly easy task. True, no one had expected the CDF to function as brilliantly as Lavidikos' 3rd Army alone could, but the frustration was quickly mounting, particularly with such a short period of time to work with.

HE glanced over to ihs computer, which displayed the pathetic results of the day's training exercises. Six Celttis Humvees were out of action for at least four days because of a nasty crash on the right flank of the defending army. Another was barely functioning and would likely have to be held back in order to avoid permanent damage.

Even worse, the helicopter units, essential for supporting the infantry when they faced large odds, had performed abysmally. Indeed, General Lavidikos had been forced to call in his compatriot from the HRA (Holy Republic of Argyres) Air Force, Colonel Angelos Basinas. Basinas, ARgyres' foremost expert on helo warfare was just about the only man he knew who coud salvage the situation.

Demis shuffled his feet in impatience. The day had dawned at least half an hour before, and he was anxious to get to the mess hall. Where could the general be?

Summoning enough courage in him, a feature he usually was completely berefit of, he opened the door to the general's room slightly.

"Sir? Are you almost ready? The day has been new for many hours now, and there is much to do."

He heard some muffled noises that sounded like someone rustling around bed, refusing to wake up. Demis' stomach turned as he was reminded of his own children, both teenagers, who acted in the same way. What he would do without the general was beyond him, but Lavidikos was apparently quiet content with throwing a childish fit.

"Vlaka CDF!! Vlaka, vlaka vlaka!!!," echoed loudly as the general finally responded. (OOC: Stupid CDF, stupid stupid stupid).

Taken aback by the general's response, Demis hastily shut the door. He saw the other two aides quivering in fear, as they realized that they now had to take up the task of training the CDF, not the legendary Lavidikos. True, Col. Basinas would be there to assist with the helos, but with no other Argyri trainers in the area, DEmis and his compatriots were all that Argyres had to offer.

It would be a long day indeed.

OOC: GO CAL BEAT STANFORD!!!

"OK you bunch of low-lifes. We're going to train you to be a special forces unit... i don't know how but we're going to. My name is General Pyro, this is John, this is... John, and the rest are unsuprisingly all called John."
Pyro raised his gun and fired the bullet whizzed passed a your staff seargants head.
"You wheren't f**king ready! You should be ready.. for anything."

Pyro turned around

"Get the kit!" He spoke this to the Johns.
The men jogged back with berghuns full of kit.
"This your kit. We are giving this to your military as a gesuture of peice. NOTHING gets broken or damaged."
Once again he turned around.
"Get the weapons!"
Again the Johns jogged back with rifles.

"This is your rifle! It never goes more than arms length from your body!"
