Cronoeria Expanding Into Foreign Lands
CNN (Cronoeria News Network) Reporting
Sunday, November 09, 2003
Due to massive overpopulation and crowding problems, the Nomadic Peoples of Cronoeria (who are no longer quite as nomadic as before) are slowly but surely expanding into SouthEastern France, the villages and towns there remaining unannexed but the new towns founded by Cronoerian citizens claimed under Cronoerian control. Whether this will cause tension with France's occupants has yet to be established - for the most part, Cronoeria has kept to itself during this time of its infancy. No military action has been taken as of yet, though the rumor mill reports of full annexation of southeastern France in as soon as a month. These rumors are given credence by the fact that Cronoeria has expressed interest in purchasing newer, modern weaponry for its relatively vast military and has put in an order for craft to modernize their air force. Whether this will end diplomatically has yet to be seen.
As of yet, there has been no public response by the current owner of France, the nation of Pantocratoria, and no public address has been issued by John Schroeder, the leader of Cronoeria. If this expansion continues, there are also fears that Cronoeria will expand all the way from Monaco into Italy, owned by the nation of Watertest. While complicating things further, this could also produce tensions from two older, further established countries against this newer nation.
