Forgivness (Open RP peacefull)
OOC: Iaceo was once ruled by Latitio Iaceo, a ruthless dictator who turned the Country into a rouge Terrorist state. However, Latito's rule was ended, when a number of countries that she had attacked, retialiated. After a short power struggle peace was created, in now the current government would like to appogize to all those countries that where attacked. And has invited anybody who was attacked to a conference here in Iaceo. Most of these attacks where RP with specific countries, but every one is welcomed to join. For the sake of the RP we will just say that attacks happened all over the place.
IC:
Prime Minster Kao looked out through the limo's window at the city that was passing him by. He was suprised how far they had come in such a short time. A few short months ago the lay in ruins as result of attacks, fighting was occurring in every street. As they passed a park he could see children out playing.
It reminded him of the days before Latito had come to power. Latito had destroyed the very spirit of the country. Under Her rule there was no such thing as freedom. People had to watch what they said. All forms of entertainment was censored, and replaced with government properganda. There was no education system, children were instead endoctrined to support Latito, no matter the cost. Families where seperated. A wave of hoplessness covered the land.
There where a few who tried to stop Latito, some with arms, others with guns. He had tried to change the system through political means. But this cost him the thing the he valued most, his family.
Latitio want to make an example of him. Kao's family was dragged out into the street, and excuted, and he was imprissoned.
But things chanced when the country was liberated. It was decided that since has had the most political contacts that he would lead the interm government. Three days ago he was elected President by the people. He was choosen to mend the countries wounds, but first would be to heal the wounds abroad.
Kao had sent out a world wide brocasting inviting any country that was harmed to come to Iaceo for an official appology from the people of Iaceo.
He could feel a tighness in his chest as the limo turned the corner. They weren't far from the airport, forgein vistors where begining to arrive.
He had no idea of what was to come.
President Allenson took sip of his water then placed on the desk infront of him. A little spilled out as the plane hit a bit of turrbulance.
He reached back and tried to rub the knots out his shoulder that had developed during his flight. He was worried that it would prove to be a long day.
This would be fist trip official trip to Iaceo, his last visit was as a father. His daughter Jade was the Tappee liason officer sent to Iaceo after the war. Allenson was begining to wounder if the history between Tappee and Iaceo would ever end.
He let out a deep sigh. "Gene" he looked of towards of his assistants "When are we expected to arive?"
Gene took a moment to look at his watch. "In about 2 hour, Prime Minster Kao, and General Williams are expected to meet us there.
Jace's private jet touched down at the airport, goverment agents jumbled out and searched the area for any possible threats.
As Jace walked down the ramp he wondered what kind of reaction his presence would bring, as he was a Dictator by name and position.
Although he couldn't exactly place himself in the same catogory as Latitio, as his greatest concern was the well being and advancement of the people he lead.
Still, he could understand the postion the nation of Iaceo was in...in the begining, the rule over Jace had been totalitarian and ruthless, it's objective being utter, total control through any means possible over a chaotic people, however, as time went by, things began to relax, as slowly the the new regiem fine tuned it's views to slowly begin making Jace a stronger nation, and, eventually, a stronger people...
Jace shook off his train of thought and focused on the now, as while he had only had minimal with Iaceo during Latitio's rule, he thought that through the experiences of his own nation he could help Iaceo, which is why he had come here.
Prime minster Kao made his way out the airport, and over to the plane that had just arrived. He waited for a moment to allow the planes security team time to clear the area. He could understand way they felt they were needed, these where troubling times.
Kao watched as a someone exited the plane, once he was sure that it was safe to do he walked over over.
With a small on his face he extended his hand "Welcome to Iaceo".
However, he stopped when out of the corner of his eye he saw four fighter planes that were escorting an incoming plane break formation. The air rumbled as the sonic boom blanked the airport. The plane that they were escorting landed shortly after.
The plane shuddered as it landed.
Allenson wnet to get up from his seat but was told to wait until the security teams could clear the area. Given his histroy with Iaceo, he felt that it was a good idea.
After some time he was given the ok to leave the plane. As he made his way out of the plane he saw a fully uniformed Tappee Solider. The two men exchanced hand shakes.
"Good to see you Williams, how the shoulder?" Allenson looked around and realized the Kao wasn't there. "Where Kao, I was under the impersion that he would join us"
"Kao had some other buisness to attend to"
Ambassador the Honourable James Grant, senior representative of the Empire of Treznor, glanced about nervously as he gestured for his two subordinates to hurry up. "Come along, come along. I want to get out of the open. No telling what these terrorists will do to us!"
"Former terrorists, Sir," the woman corrected respectfully. "May I remind you with Latito Iaceo in custody and the formation of a more democratic government in her nation, we've been instructed to treat them as separate from the terrorist movement?"
"Don't correct your elders," Grant snapped. He continued to crane his neck about anxiously, searching for hidden assassins in every shadow until they reached the doors of the hotel and stepped inside. Then he breathed a sigh of relief and waited for someone important to approach him.
The other man brought up the rear, inspecting the room alertly as the woman swept her gaze across it to register the inhabitants. Typical of Grant, he had attracted a great deal of attention with his bluster, and an elderly woman in a hotel uniform was already hurrying to meet them. The man leaned over to set down his heavy bags and whispered to his counterpart. "The gentleman and his blonde companion?"
She nodded gently. "And the janitor in the corner."
He sighed. "Daniel in the lion's den."
She smirked slightly and elbowed him quickly. "We should be so lucky."
The elderly woman approached them and stood primly before Grant. "I'm Mrs. Atterly, the day manager. How may I help you?"
Grant made a great show of reaching into his greatcoat to bring out his official papers. "I'm Ambassador James Grant, representing the Empire of Treznor. Perhaps you've heard of us. This is Junior Ambassador Catherine Ravon and my aide, Charles Grant. You have rooms for us, yes?"
Mrs. Atterly frowned. "Ambassador Grant. I'm afraid we weren't expecting you. Are you sure you've come to the right hotel?"
Grant looked shocked. He turned to look at Charles. "Is this true?"
Charles reached into his pocket and pulled out a folded sheet of paper. He unfolded it and peered at it before handing it to the woman. "Our reservations are confirmed. Someone must have failed to inform you."
Mrs. Atterly inspected the paper for a long while, then sniffed. "Quite. No one told me about this. Very well. Come with me. I'm afraid all we have are single rooms; all the suites are booked."
"That's outrageous!" Grant spluttered angrily. "You can't treat me like this! I speak with the authority of his Imperial Majesty Devon Treznor the First!"
"Please, Ambassador," Catherine interrupted before his tirade could build up into a full-blown tantrum. "I'm sure Mrs. Atterly is only doing her job, and a good one at that." She favoured the woman with a bright smile. "I'm sure it's in our best interests to make sure she can do so with a minimum of fuss. Perhaps Charles can handle the room arrangements while we go have a drink."
She took Grant by the arm and lead him off in the appropriate direction, leaving Charles to face the matronly manager.
"Now then, Mrs. Atterly," Charles said with a smile, reaching into his pocket for his money purse. "How can I help you facilitate our room arrangements?"
"It's is a pleaseure to be here, Mr...", Jace said, extending his own hand to accept the handshake.
Prince Yurka VII tapped his fingers impatiently on the side of his chair. Its been a long time since he'd left the Yurka, even longer since he left the region. He smiled briefly but then noticed one of his guards starring at him. He shook his head and retained his quiet disposition. He was wearing the black and red uniform of the Yurka elite guard, even though the last time he wore it was when his father took over the country.
"Are we there yet? Why do i have to put up with such things?" Yurka groaned, shaking his head and leaning back in his seat. "So Latitios kicked the bucket finally?"
"It appears so Lord Yurka. We should be approaching the airport soon, your safety is our number one priority." The advisor smiled at prince Yurka and left towards the pilot's quarters.
Yurka looked out the window and smiled as it began landing. Such a pristine landscape. This is nothing like Nod Gamorra. he thought as he heard his squadron of fighters dispersing overhead. It'd been a long ride and he couldn't wait to get off.
Mr..
His words made Kao realize that he had yet to properly introduce himself.
"I'm sorry, I am Prime Minster Kao. But with every thing that has been going on I can be a bit absent minded. But that neither here nor there. Welcome to Iaceo"
Kao motions towards the main airport building
"If you'll be so kind as to follow me we are some cars that are waiting to take you to your hotel

The comotion at the front desk caught the attention of Giles Rhode. It was his job to see that the needs of the guest where taken care of, it it would appear that for the moment that there was a problem.
So with the upmost haste he made his way over. The receptionist who's name he could not remember looked up at him. It was clear from her responce that she knew he was. He took a moment to look at her name tag.
"Mrs. Atterly what seems to be the problem."
Wether it was his presence, or the situation she seemed to be on edge.
"They say that they have a resevation, but we seem to them on file" her voice was studdering.
He was an impatient man who had a lot to do
"Well, my country are they from" he barked.
"They say that they are from Empire of Treznor"
For a moment Giles lost his breath. He was under orders to make that the representives from Treznor where to be treated right. It would not be long until his superiors head of this. He turned his attentio the the guest that where waiting near the desk.
"I'm Affraid that I must appologize." He turn his attention back to Mrs. Atterly "The reason why you can not find their reservation, is that is under the Govenments name. They are here as guests of the Government of Iaceo. Their money will not be accept, as we will provide anything that they need."
He took a deep breath he was trying not to offened the Treznor representives. he lowered his head "You have been given the Pent house suite, if you need anything, just feel free to ask. We will cover any of your expenses. Prime Minster Kao had mentioned that he would like to see when you have arrivied. I will tell him that you are here. Again please accept my appologizes"
Charles smiles brightly at the man. "The Penthouse Suite? That will be quite acceptable; we'll be sure to report that we're very happy with the service provided. Mrs. Atterly here has been very helpful in clearing up the misunderstanding. Thank you very much."
And I hope the golden dubloons I slipped you make you a little more eager to help us out, lady.
"If you'll excuse me, I'll see if the Ambassadors have finished their drinks before we retire to our rooms. Please don't bother with the bags. I'll see to them myself."
He gestures to Catherine, who nods and whispers quietly to Grant. "Ambassador Ravon tells me they're just about ready. Will you lead the way?"
The doors slowly creaked open as twelve guards emerged and began looking for anything suspicious. Finding nothing, they gave Yurka the signal that it was safe.
"Nice place, this Iaceo..." he coughed softly, expecting more of an audiance for his arrival,"So where is everyone?!"
Embassador Connors makes his way over to the Yurka delegation which had just arrived.
"I'm affraid I must appologize. With the current events our resources have been spead rather Thin." He extends his hand as sign of good faith "My name is Jeffery Connors. I've been assigned to look after you while you are here. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Prime Minster Kao has been informed of your arrivial."
Allenson and Williams made there way through the airport. Allenson noticed Prime Minster Kao talking to some man he didn't know. Allenson could only assume the it was a representive from another country.
Allenson had to focus on the task at hand. "So Williams, whats the current situation here."
Williams reaches into his brief case and hands Allenson a folder. "With Phobo gone things have really settled down. The rebel force have been destroyed. We haven't seen any activity in nearly six month. So if things stay this way I'm probably going to send a portion of our garison back home."
Allenson reads over the report. "So when are going to come back to Tappee?"
William gives Allenson bit of a smile. "There's still much to do here. Besides the air a bit more fresh here."

The Boeing 747-400 came in on final approach. The plane was white, with the Stars and Bars of the Confederate Flag gracing the tail. The giant plane touched down, and slowly taxied off the runway. President Robert Davis looked out the window and watched as the C-141 Starlifter that had accompanied them touched down where they had been.
"We're here President Davis."
"Great" Davis muttered to himself; and then he thoughtfully said, "Thank you, let me know when we are ready to roll."
"Yes, Sir," responded his head of security.
As his head of security walked off, Davis looked out at the land of Iaceo. To think, that just weeks earlier, they were planning on wiping the Confederacy of Stone River right off the map. With its massive industry and economy, Stone River must have looked like a jewel ready for taking to Latito Iaceo. If those E-3 Sentrys hadn't been patrolling that day, Stone River would've almost certainly been caught with its pants down, and its butt cheeks in the breeze. Thankfully, the Sentrys were able to detect them coming, and our high-tech military was able to ward them off, despite being seriously outmanned.
"And now, I'm supposed to forgive them all for that. Well, I guess we'll have to see how this thing goes...", Davis thought to himself.
Davis' security head came back, "We're ready to go sir."
"Let's Roll."
President Davis walked out on the stairs leading to the tarmac. He waved to the small crowd that had come to welcome all the world leaders. When he reached the bottom, he exchanged handshakes and pleasentries with some Iaceon 'officials' (aka peons). He then turned and began walking towards the unloaded contents of the C-141. The 'cargo' consisted of his limosioune, 10 Chevrolet Impala Police Cruisers (in full Stone River badge), and several police officers armed with M-16s. President Davis entered his limo, and the motorcade started off, with the police cars turning on full lights and siren.
President Davis turned to his National Security Advisor Mark Jackson, who had already been in the car. "So, first stop?"
"Not far, we're stopping at the terminal to meet with Ambassodor Connors."
"Can we just meet with this new guy already?"
"We'll meet with Kao when the time comes, sir. Until then, just enjoy the pleasentries."
"Trust me Jackson, I'm feeling anything but pleasent right now."
"Thats quite alright. I'm Drake Yurka VII, ruler and delegate of Yurka." He said smiling as he reached for his hand and shook it,"Well we must be going to the hotel Jeffrey, take care!"
He let go and saluted Jeffrey as a limo finally pulled up and he got in. It was relatively well furnished, but when he got to the hotel he was a bit shocked at how bright and cheerful it was,"beggers can't be choosers it seems..."
Kao had noticed the Tappee President Allenson had arrived and was talking to General Williams
"Excuse, I've some personal buisness to attend to. Marry here will see that all your needs are taken care of, I'll try and meet with again"
With that he left his guest and made his way over to talk to Allenson.
"President Allenson, who good to see you it's been awhile." He scanned the area to see if there was anyone else he would reconize. "I'm suprised that Jade did not join you."
"I talked to her before I left, but i'm afraid that she has taken some personal time."
He was shocked that Kao had inquired about his daughter. Allenson knew the history between Kao and Jade.
Allenson looked around the Airport. it was a flurry of activity. Dignatarys where arriving from all over.
"We Mr Kao I can see that you rather busy, I should let you get back to work."
Allenson watch as Kao went back work.
"He's done a good job here" said Williams
One Allenson aid tapped him on the shoulder. "Sir, we've got an urget message from your wife." Allenson took the phone, and listen to what had to be said.
Williams watched as the colour drained from his face. "What's wrong Allenson?" Allenson looked as if was about to vomit.
"Jade been hurt, I have to go. Gene your in charge until I return. I want Eagle One ready for flight in five minutes." Before he had finished his words is support team had already jumped to work.

President Davis and Advisor Jackson stepped out of the limo, and started for the lounge of the airport. Davis noticed people rushing about one of the foreign jets, but he didn't think anything of it.
They entered the airport terminal. Ambassador Connors was waiting for them.
"President Davis, I presume? Welcome to Iaceo."
"Thank you, Ambassador."
"I trust you had a comfortable flight?"
Davis wanted to make a snide remark, but instead responded, "Very comfortable, thanks."
"I realize there is a lot of mending that needs to occur between our nations."
"UNDERSTATMENT!" Davis thought, "Well, I hope this will be a new beginning for our nations."
"May it be nothing less, Mr. President."
"Alright, enough political BS." Davis thought, "When can I meet with Minister Kao?"
"He's just a few rooms down, last I saw he was speaking to President Allenson. I'll take you to him."
Davis and Jackson followed behind the Ambassador. Davis tried to imagine what Kao would look like. He knew he would almost certainly be wrong. Davis prepared himself to meet with the leader of the 'new and improved' Iaceo.
Kao was and older man in his late 50's with greying hair. He had just finshed talking With President Allenson when he noticed that Connors had entered the room, followed by a group of people.
Connors was the first to speak "Prime Minster Kao this is President Davis from Stone River he would like a moment of your time"
"Thank you, I was wondering if you could do me a favor" Kao waited for Connors to nod his head. Koa leaned in and whispered into his ear "I noticed President Allenson left abruptly, I want you to find out why."
Connors leaves them to complete his task.
Kao extends his hand "It is nice to meet President Davis. However, I was suprised when they told me you had come. But none the less I'm glad you came."
"Perfectly understandable, Mr. Kao, please, lead on", Jace replied, not trying to force the issue, noticing how much stress these people where apprently under.
They where about half way there when Jace remembered that after all that he hadn't introduced himself, and was about to wehn Kao had to rush off to attented another of his quests, leaving a woman called Marry to escrott him to the waiting car.
The airport was now bussling with activity, deligates arriving from all over, and Jace thought he heard someone shouting...but he ignored it, for now, anyway, right now he was more interested in getting his hotel room, having it checked for hidden cameras or other bugs, and then freshen up a bit before, in a manner of speaking, 'scoping out the competition'.
The woman finally lead them out to a taxi bank where goverment cars where waiting, and she guested to one, no sooner had she done so the agents raced over and scaned every inch of the car, it wasn't that Jace was paranoid, it was simply a precuation, due to the nature of his country, and others, for that matter...he wouldn't put it past some other nations to try and be rid of him...
Once the agents where satisfied the car was safe they quited down and one of them nodded to Jace, with that they all proceeded to get in and drive off.

"Thank you for the warm welcome, Prime Minister.", Davis answered.
"Who is accompanying you, Mr. President?"
"Minister Kao, this is my National Security Advisor, Mark Jackson."
The two exchanged handshakes.
"Mr. President, I realize that nothing I can say can compensate for what once occured between our two nations. What my predeccesor did was wrong and immoral in every way. So many of both our and your soldiers died needlessly."
"It was indeed a horrid time in our existence."
"However, I hope you will be willing to let the past be the past, and allow us to begin anew."
"It will certainly require much further talks, but we too hope for nothing less than peaceful relations."
"Well, it is late Mr. President, you should be getting to your hotel."
"We shall meet again, Prime Minister."
With that, Davis and Jackson returned to their limosioune. The motorcade started off for their hotel. Davis did not speak a single word on the way there.
Gene Roberts and General Williams made their way out of the Airport in head toward the waiting motorcade. They where almost there when they heard shouting from behind them. Williams turned to see Connors running behind them.
"What can can I do for you Connors?" Williams had never really liked the man that much. He had found him to be rather pushy at times.
"Prime minster Kao was woundering why President Allenson had left?"
Williams looked over at Roberts, he wasn't sure how to answer this. Jade had served as a Liason officer between the two countries after the war, so most of Kao's staff knew her personally. But right now he felt security was an issue.
Williams just shook his head. "Can't say right now. We still have that 8:25 meet schedualed for tomorrow?"
Connor's thought to himself for a moment "Yes"
"We'll talk then" With that he got in the limo and drove away.
Kao turned on the lights to his living room. He just let himself go, he land on the couch with a thud. He had been meeting with people all day, and tomorrow had have to meet with many more.
In attempt to get some RandR he turned on the TV to watch the evening new. The current segment caught his attention.
"Your playing with fire you know" said a voice from somewhere in the room.
startled Kao looked over his shoulder to see a man sitting across the room. He relaxed when he realized who it was "You worry to much"
"Maybe"" answered the man "If your caught I stand to lose alot of money. You have more to lose then I do. lets hope he doesn't figure out what going on. Anyway I should go you have a long day ahead of you."
