Supersonic stealth bombers for East tech. countries on sale

10-11-2003, 04:43
The Bisonic Defense Initiatives (BDIA) has announced the development of the Molniya-2 (Molniya=Russian for lightning), a high altitude stealth bomber with a supersonic cruising speed and 70,000 lbs payload. It can sustain mach 3 for an entire mission, albeit at massive fuel cost. The Mo-2 is fitted with fly by wire (FBW) technology.

The Mo-2 is fitted with fly-by-wire technology, which offers advantages in fuel consumption, airplane weight, and agility, among others. Terrain following radar has been installed on the Mo-2 to aid in low-level bombing missions, which if conducted at lower speeds make detection extremely difficult. It is covered with radar absorbent materials (RAM).

The Mo-2 has a sizeable payload of 70,000lbs, giving it almost twice the bombing abilities of the B-2 Spirit, which also does not posses the ability to break the sound barrier. It is capable of carrying land-attack missiles such as the Tomahawk, AS-15 Kent, and AS-19 Koala.

Dark Terror: If you want, we could sell you Oxythane compatible Jets for the aircraft, using Oxythane N fuel, you could probably get a larger bomb payload.

Hm. DT, how did you solve the problem the designers of the SR-71 and YF-12 encountered? Said problem being that despite a stealthy design in terms of radar return, an aircraft that large moving that fast up lights up IR scanners like the 4th of July.
01-12-2003, 12:15
4 of them. That will be all thats needed.

That seems like the sort you thing you should mention front up, you know, so it doesn't appear as if you were trying to imply that your bomber was "stealth" (a technology that you have claimed to be "worthless" several times, I might add) at Mach 3 speeds.

Also the fly-by-wire systems are hardly the greatest development, being as they are more than thirty years old and consisting of electrical connections replacing hydraulic ones. I assume you must be talking about something else.
