The command center is busy --- usual for a nation on DEFCON 3. Phone rings, announcements, messages on digital display overhead, and even shouts --- all normal in this kind of situation.

...a knock on the door. Fleet Management Office. A few seconds later, a voice called out. "Who is it?"

"Cpt. Konkrak Gansa, comrade Janue," the former commander of an Omzian aircraft carrier answered swiftly. "News erupted, Sniper Country forces detected a submarine. Los Angeles SSN."

"Come in," Rear Admiral Janue Konaks answered. "heard about it. Definately not ours, the officers said. All officers reported false to the news."

As Gansa opened the oak door, he questioned curiously, "no subs are from us?"

"Do you think we have any Los Angeles Attack Submarines, hmm...?" Konaks replied, with a cold tune.

"Uh... No. Then who owns the submarines," Gansa frowned. "This is a serious matter, Admiral. If those people over there think it is our sub, then pertty sure an operation is going on soon. But otherwise, if we said it isn't our sub, they wouldn't believe us probably. Refuse to deny or confirm? Even worse."

"I see, Gansa...", the Rear Admiral nodded his head slightly, appears to be brainstorming and thinking. "Anyways, fire up a message anyways. Omzian Foreign Affairs Ministry, redirect to diplomatic channel. Tell then we maintain the claim that the submarines aren't ours, we don't own Los Angeles-es."

"Understood, comrade. I will go for now," Gansa answered, confidently. After a few seconds, he said, "I will keep you informed. Godspeed, for the Omzian motherland."

"Godspeed," the Rear Admiral answered, calmly.

Emergency Diplomatic Message, Open Channels

Immediately we have heard about the "submarine incident", reported on SCNN, involving 2 Los Angeles Class Nuclear Attack Submarines intruding the "radius" of the Sniper Country 3rd SG Fleet. As we have no Los Angeles Class in service, therefore we must deny our involvement in this immediate, progressing incident.

However, we will keep an eye on this.

The 1st RLD(Republican liberty dragoons, my Spec Ops) Brigade(2,000 men), took off from an undisclosed foward CLF airbase. The C-130's were un-escorted because thier flight path took them through friendly airspace the whole way. Commander of the brigade,(also commander of the RLD's as a whole) the infamous; Brig. Gen. Roberts. AKA Hawk. He gave the order, and the men filed out of the cargo bays, not worrying about stealth they opened thier shoots right off, and eventually landed across the river from Osaria. As soon as the ywere all aon the ground and they organized, Roberts got on the comm to raise the Omz Army.

Despite this is an Air Force base, it is crowded with Army and even Marine Corps officers today --- unsuprisingly, because of the arrival of the Special Operation Teams from Liberty Fighters. But the officers remained their mouth shut.

First to greet Brig. Gen. Roberts is a high-ranking Omzian officer from the Army, Col. Honjak U. Trans-Wansk. He was enthusatic while preparing to meet his Liberty Fighter counterparts, glad that another ally is helping his motherland.

The general stook out his hand, he wasa general, but he didnt like the title, they called him a "colonel at heart".
"Great to meet you colonel, you can call me Hawk, everyone does. These are the most veteran in the firld of defensive covert ops. I have been given a personal aorder from High Marshall O'Connor himself to do what ever it takes to complete every objective we may seek. And I promise, it will be done. But can we get something to eat? Jumps make us Liberty Fighters hungry."

The RSS. Lukhoy and the RSS. Kukov steamed forward toward Omz waters. The two lumbering hospital ships had been out of port for nearly three days now and everything was running fine. The Artitsan High Naval command had deceided to escort the two ships with 3 Lutjens Destroyers, 1 Stingray Destroyer, and two Kolov Frigates. ETA: 2 days.

After many executions in Dark Terror due to various misinformations, DT has decided to stay fully neutral.

Admiral Johnathan Pontivk, commander of all Penguinatan naval forces on Earth, walked into the Naval Headquarters Room, a gigantic room filled with computers and a huge screen on the largest wall that contained a map of the NS Earth. He ordered a zoom on the Omzian Democratic Republic, and saw Sniper Country's naval forces. He had just finished watching SCNN, and had learned of the submarine situation.

It's time...

He picked up his videophone and called the Empress in Kaichen, worlds away. They spoke briefly, and he hung up. He quickly ordered that the 2nd Earth Naval Fleet be dispatched to international waters 200 miles off the coast of Omz. Suddenly the AIMB Naval District was buzzing with activity, marines and sailors running to the ships in the cold drizzle. Soon klaxons were going off, ordering all Naval employees to their positions immediately. Within several hours, the entire fleet was off for the Omzian Democratic Republic.

The ship was now almost compleatly invisible on radar, and to the eye. Being painted all black, and it being night helped alot. It was now going compleatly silent, and would stay that way until it reached "Training Grounds"

The ships looked strange, the pouring rain dribbling down their sleek hulls. In a mass of ships sat a dual hulled catamaran carrier, the NESS New Empire. With 160 aircraft onboard, the carrier seemed like a sitting duck, at least until one viewed the RAM and CIWS systems. Around it, a mix of 30 DD-24A, -24B, and -25A Destroyers. 10 Honor frigates, with 10 Honor-M Missile Cruisers. 20 Syphus-G Submarines lurked throughout the area, waiting. Alongside were the second main punch, 2 Imitora Class Arsenal ships. But in this mass of ships were the most important ones of all- the transports.

The two Los Angeles attack submarines, having been detected by SCN escort ships, set course for the Remiesian fleet, several hundred kilometers (I assume) away.

But the Seawolves, apparantly undetected so far, remain. They linger several thousand yards away, watching the carrier very closely while rigged for ultra-quiet operation.

Admiral Pontivk was standing on the deck of the PSS Victoria, looking over the horizon that he could not see. The new moon was not visible. He thought that this was perfect for cover. A sailor was running up to him.
"Sir..!" He was panting, and the cold brisk air was not helping him catch his breath.
"Are you okay," Pontivk asked oddly.
"Yes..sir. Importa-*cough* Important message from Kaichen!"
The Admiral began walking to the control tower.
"Sir, I don't mean to bother you, but it's extremely important, otherwise I would have walked here.."
"Oh, I see." The Admiral began running as fast as he could, and he finally got to the control tower.

The Admiral was shocked. "We've got what?! We can't do that! That would cripple the entire peace effort, would cripple us diplomatically, and would increase the economic problems we already have! Who made that order?!"
The commander was peeved. He hadn't expected this kind of reaction. Admiral Pontivk usually followed orders without question. "Uh, well see, um.."
"Commander Wright, tell me you did have that order confirmed." The Admiral became suspicious.
"Well, sir, um, see, it wasn't ordered by the Imperial Council, b-"
"THEN WE ARE NOT CHANGING OUR COURSE PERIOD!" The Admiral was furious and outraged. In DIDPAC, an order confirmed by the Imperial Council was necessary to adjust military movements.
The Commander was angry. "Well, I refuse to continue our course to the Omzian Democratic Republic. It's pointless to defend them, we've got enough problems. It would be better if we moved to the coast of Sniper Country."
The Admiral walked up to the Commander and said in an angry undertone, "Commander Wright, you have just been fired from your position. Leave this ship, now." A loud gunshot was heard. The Admiral fell to the floor with a thud, and Commander Wright's right hand showed a gun.
"Continue the course, gentleman. I will inform the Imperial Council of our location after we arrive."

1. It is F/A-18, not F/18. Also, how are you going to mobilize 3000 of them? Not even some tankers?
2. 250 destroyers and 5 aircraft carriers, no support ships?
3. Please explain why you are mobilizing 100 SSBNs. This isn't a n00k war.
4. 10,000 battle tanks and 500,000 infantries... To tell you the truth, this kind of RP will not be accepted here.

OOC: SSBNS are ballistic missile submarines. Only recently is the US Navy starting to convert some of its Ohios to SSGNs - cruise missile carriers.

2. Since your number for destroyers is completely overwhelming, the best is to cut it first. Other than that, send a few oilers, fast combat support ships, and ammunition ships.
3. Most people misunderstand about this long-range ballistic missiles carrying conventional thing. While it can, it doesn't make sense. For other nuke happy nations, if you launch these SLBMs at them, they'll take it as nukes and nuke you back.

Much like the Boeing assembly plant in Northwest US, but instead of Boeing, it has the following printed: Omzian Armed Forces Production Complex. Another red sign appears at the entrance, which reads: DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT PROPER DOCUMENT.

The same woman, in the scene, spoke. "We are now at Vansara Central Military Productions Facility, a facility for producing aircraft parts, and assembly of ground systems, like armored vehicles. The complex is said to be heavily guarded with various air and ground defenses, and it is one of the oldest production complex in Omzian Nation, dating back to the 1940es. Now, let us tour the inside."

The screen flashes, to a scene with various aircraft in production, unpainted. the background has a huge poster, which reads: Mass Production: For the efficency of military.

At the Port Arthur airfield, near the Juaziero production facility, several dozen arrowhead-shaped aircraft could be seen lifting off. The five men and one woman sat in the briefing room aboard the Jeff Williams, looking over charts, maps, and mission plans. Right now, there only goal was to get six heavily armed F/A-18H Yellow Jackets to Omzian territory, and go from there. Each one was armed with the Imitoran made AIM-150 VTT-AMRAAM, as well as a mixture of other air-to-air weapons, including one or two of the famous AIM-54 Pheonix. Also included was a small selection of air-to-surface weapons, including the newest AGM-88 HARMS, Harpoons, and SLAM/SLAM-ERs. Each also carried one external drop tank, and one Spartan pod. The men and woman of VFA-156 Death Lances were ready, willing, and armed, to get to Omz.

They all knew the flight plan, it would take only a few hours, and if nessacery, it could be done on autopilot. The fighters were ready, and teh squadron called up. The pilots maned their aircraft, and prepared for the rush that was going from 0 to 150 knots in under two seconds.

Minutes later, they were airborne. "Alright, come to angels one zero, heading two two seven," LtCmd. Halpin said, banking his fighter first. "Athena go," he continued, activating the Athena system on his fighter. Suddenly, the flight of F/A-18H Yellow Jackets disapeared from all radars, both freindly and enemy. When they were 20 miles from Omz, they would deactivate the Athena and state intentions. They may even biz a carrier or two, just for fun.

In agreement with the security level rise in the Austar Union, regular patrols of our skies have commenced watching out for other aircraft. Our Coast guard has been instructed to be on high alert and to radio even the slightest sign of another ship from foriegn nations.

Just outside the borders of both Sniper Country and Omz222, all 8 ODC-10s of the 82nd ORS, or Orbital Reconnaisance Squadron, launched their payloads into orbit.

The airborne boosters launched a full constellation of satellites over each country, the small units using thrusters to position themselves into a geo-stationary orbit.

Each satellite used a compact solar power unit to provide enough electrical power to operate the myriad of sensors and cameras.

For the next two months, the satellites would monitor the situation over both countries, and provide tactical maps if conflict ensued.

Take another 2 or 3 days to get their equipment and supplied packed up and they're ready to roll by the end of the week..

Now, the Navy tells me that they're going to use that same convoy to take over any additional units, but they should be back in our waters by then after they unload the 4th Armored. By the middle of next week we can have roughly 45,000 troops deployed."

"And what sort of reaction are we seeing out of Sniper Country," the Secretary of State asked.

"They've apparantly put at least two divisions on high alert and one airborne unit is moving - we don't know where to."

"What sort of combat power are we talking about here, General?"

"Intel says it's an infantry division and an armored division - but remember that the 4th is a heavy armored unit. They won't have any trouble brushing them aside if they land on Omzian soil."

As Convoy SO-21 neared the Omzian port, Sapphire went up to the deck. All along the coast, she could see signs of the impending conflict, with soldiers running back and forth along the coast, a bustle of activity around various defensive emplacements, and patrol boats out in force. "Well," she thought to herself, "this is it. We may finally see a real war this time." With that thought, though just for a second, a slight smirk appeared on her face.

The fifteen fully-loaded cargo ships continued ahead for the coast under the watchful eye of aircraft and a few escorts, but the rest of the escort fleet lingered off the coast, ready to turn around and head back to pick up two more divisions.

With the help of Omzian personnel, the 4th Armored was pulled from the bowels of the ships and set down on land, slowly transforming back into the fighting force it was supposed to be.

Not too far away, at the airbase, the Airborne forces had arrived and unloaded. Finished with their business, the transports had refueled and returned home. The paratroopers and their armored support assembled while the officers met with Omzian commanders for orders.

Meanwhile, the First Fleet commander gave the order to put his Marines ashore. Sea Stallions, AAV7s and LCACs made trip after trip, putting ashore 3,500 Marine infantrymen and all their vehiclesand support units. The Marine commanders had been given orders to move to the airbase and link up with the paratroopers to form a hastily-organized composite division which would serve as a quick-reaction force. Their mission would be to plug any holes in the defensive line once the invasion started.

As they had always trained, the 4th Armored was going to take the brunt of the assault. The troops could only wait for the other 2 divisions to show up.

Cargo unloading operations were complete. The cargo ships slowly chugged back out to meet the escort convoy and began the trip back to Remiesia to pick up additional troops.

Cargo trucks were loaded and the hundreds of vehicles departed for their destination in the northwestern region of Omz, followed closely by their helicopter counterparts. They rumbled along the highways in a double column, getting waves from motorists and seeing scores of little Remiesian flags.

"Well look at that, Sarge. The war hasn't even started yet and we're heroes."

The old sergeant looked at the soldier and smiled. "Of course we are. We're part of one of the few countries that cares enough to back up a friend."

Morale was high as the Remiesian troops, determined to defend their ally, prepared themselves to make good on their leader's promise.

Northwestern Omzian Mountains Range, Remiesian Forces Landing Area

A group of villagers young and old, cheered and smiled at the Remiesian forces. They se the Remiesians were liberators. Foreign heros of their motherland, and their people. The arrival of the Remiesian forces there is the news of the week --- or month --- for these people, who've lived in villages and rural areas for centries, who never seen foreign settlers for centries. After all, the Remiesians are trying to save the Omzian people from the Sniper Country invaders, or "bloodsucking imperalists" --- as the older people, who witnessed past invasions, would say. Childrens played and ran after the soldiers, waving the Remiesian flag. The teenage girls, admired the foreign liberators. The housewives and men, talked about it all evening. The elders, gathered toghter, talked about it happily...

...yet, there is still a state of war. The villagers also talked. Why do Sniper Country want to invade their own history-rich land anyways? What has the villagers do to them? All they know is, they've done nothing. The soldiers are a pleasing sight, but still not taking away their fear of loss, their cry of help, and their plead of mercy, from their hearts.

More coastal defense measures has setup. Trucks constantly moving, providing food, ammo, supplies, and even letters --- from the frontline troops along the coast. Regular exercises and preparation can be seen. Mobile air defense and coastal defense stations can be seen commonly, most are trucks loaded with Harpoon F-variant long-range anti-ship missiles, or short-range Black Fly SAMs along with AAAs. Some fortifications, and mine laying at some portion of coasts --- mostly rocky coasts, can also be seen. Most of the mine laying are conducted through Poseidon ASW/Maritime Patrol aircraft, and other smaller strike aircraft.

Tensions are still high, the citizens wonder, when will Omz222 come to peace again? Even if these people defending are Omzians, they don't like the breath of war and flames.

The Massive Carrier was almost there, it was preparing to launch Z-1c's for Areil protection of the Training Grounds. They would fly constant air cover until the UVC's got there.

Increased buildup along the "Training Grounds" line is now often talked about in the Omzian military. In a secret movement, more bomber aircraft and submarines are now called to active service, incease the ships finally breaks the "barrier" between international and Omzian waters. Air defence on the coast is also said to be on the increase in Omzian military administrations. Armored Divisions, and Mechanized Infantry Divisions from both the Army and National Guard are finally activated, prepared to engage the invaders on lands.

Additionally, the remaining 5 squadrons of the F-24M Antares high-altitude, high-speed interceptors are positions along major cities, to counter the threat of Aurora bombers-like aircraft. The officals hoped that they can engage the Gosto and Windcutters Sniper Country reportly had, if they exist, and if they comes in large cities for bombing missions. Still, they worry abotu the extremly low success. Skymer and Grendel SAM batteries and units are also positions, to counter cruise missiles, and heavy bombers.

The navy, however, is still scrambling to get its ships out of ports, to an operation. However, it has yet to be completed, even though naval yards are in good defence on the West. It is rumored that 2 CVBGs, 1 Battleship Battlegroups, and 2 BCVBGs will be activated, although it is already known the deployment of the BCVBG-21 Admiral Kursakans Dreadnought Battlegroup to Hogan Point. The Navy is still putting its major forces on the West, sicne it doesn't want to loose too many of the "Big giants", even though the giants --- especially the Toryu Class battleships and Marx Class Dreadnaughts --- are the pride of Omzian Navy.

"We're starting to get reports that there have been further mobilizations of Remiesian forces - a convoy has returned from Omz and is in the process of loading up two more divisions, while the Army is also getting another Armored Division ready for deployment.

The Air Force has launched a large continent of aircraft - they appeared to be carrying extra fuel tanks rather than ordanance, but transport planes weren't far behind them. I'd estimate the number of aircraft that left Maxwell AFB to be around 50...

And finally the Navy has announced that it's committing another carrier battle group to the conflict. We've been seeing ships leaving port all over the country and we're told they're assembling somewhere within territorial waters in preparation for their trip to Omz.

It is to my dismay and sadness that our strongest ally has declined us to help it militarily. Unfortunately, it appears that the Omzian Democratic Republic has either underestimated our strength or our loyalty. It is highly upsetting to me that we cannot aid and protect our ally of nearly 100 years.

However, in order to show true friendship and acceptance, I will not get in the way of the arising conflict between Sniper Country and the Omzian Democratic Republic. I will take 20% of our military budget and set it aside for Omzian aid. Today, that means $450 billion has been transferred to the Omzian Democratic Republic. I am also willing to put forth as much medical and food supply aid as I possibly can.

I am still dismayed that I do not have the privilege of past adminstrations to aid such a worthy ally militarily. However, this does not mean that our role will decrease. I will make Penguinatan presence known throughout this crisis, and war, if it comes to that. God bless the Dominion, and God bless all those who aid us.

As soon as the ship began to dock, Sapphire made her way to the gangway. She was dressed in the standard army dress uniform, which only added to her discomfort (oh how she hated dressing up). The Colonel was already there and waiting for her, so at least she didn't have to go looking for him.
After a brief wait, the ship began unloading, with VIPs like Sapphire and Colonel Cline leaving first. As she headed down the ramp, Sapphire began looking for their escort from the Omzian Military. Hopefully, this wouldn't take too long.

Task Forces 2 and 3 are about halfway to Omzian waters. TF2 is escorting transports carrying the 6th and 27th Divisions. TF3 will join TF1 and your naval forces.

After the divisions have been put ashore, TF2 will return to Remiesia. However, if you would like the additional firepower, we can arrange to have them stay in Omzian waters.

"As you can see behind me" the camera crew dutifully shifted their focus "helicopters have been shuttling back and forth from here to the Omzian capital to evacuate the Adejaani embassy. With Adejaani's offer of direct military assistance turned down and both sides preparing for conflict, it is time to cast the last set of dice and move on."

Everything was drowned out for a moment as a Joint Strike Fighter roared down the length of the deck and took off. "With our embassy staff, our various liaisons and citizens out, only supplies can be contributed." Again, the camer crew obediently panned and zoomed to a panorama of large grey ships headed for an Omzian port.

"Those ships you see on your screens right now will be delivering medicines, foodstuffs, bombs, bullets and a lot of supplies. We can only hope it is enough to sustain the Omzian peoples in their fights. It is most unfortunate we cannot fight alongside our long standing allies, but it is not our choice to make. So, on behalf of the Adejaani people, I wish the Omzian people good luck and good hunting. This is Charlotte D'Marnier, Adejaani National News, reporting live from the ANS Horton."

ONCS Marx, Air Defense Suites Operation Center

Indeed, Sniper Country's aircraft did go into range of the air defence systems, componsed of many gadgets from PDM (replacement for the RAM), Dragon CIWS, and even MTHEL. However, it still failed to detect Sniper Country's stealth beast --- only on a margin.

The officers sat on their leather chairs, looking at the constant radar sweeps of the powerful HKJR-299/N 3D Air Defence radar using milimeter wave and low frequency technologies (to attempt to detect some stealth aircraft). The Omzians are proud of this powerful equipment, installed on their pride. The screen looked exactly like what it's like 6 hours ago --- the length of a shift for these workers.

However, something caught Petty Officer Honjak Trans-Ukarans's tiring eyes, but not long. Bearing 533, Mach 2.8, 260KM... Something's wrong. But just as he thought of this, the radar lost its track of this object. Ah well, must be some allied aircraft. He looked at the radar screen for another 12 minutes, nothing. He lied down for a while. he was sure that if it is an enemy one, the patrolling F-14F Tomcat IIs and surroundering AWACS' would detect it.

It was not, he was wrong. The blow, if there will be one, will be his responsibility.

At 14:00 tonight, the Barbarosea ships that left yesterday just stopped! That's right, stopped! They just halted some 400 miles off the Omz222 coast, and have showed signs that they are'n moving anytime soon. Also, the "boxes" on the ships were being unloaded, or unpacked I should say, but we do not know what they are yet.

In other news, the 9th fleet has just deployed to an unknown spot, but they were heading towards the Training Grounds, but they wouldn't say where exactly they were going.

Later a almost deafing noise shook the waters and land around Omz. The six UVC's were coming in over the horizion. They were a maginificant sight, and were awe-inspiring. As they landed, the water was blown away by the huge engines those beasts have. When landing was compleat, the land/water weapons were turned on. Huge missile turrets and AA guns along with artillary guns popped out all over. Also, the rear hatch opened, and the 3798 ft. runway popped out (well, slid out but...) Z-1c's after Z-1c's flew out of those, with the ones based off the J-MOB landing, but they would come out later...

The boxes were being unpacked, and Bombardment Cannons being put together. The crews were working fast, fast because they needed to be put together.

OOC: Bombardment Cannons are cannons that fire a special cruise missile that when within 2 miles of it's target, breaks off into nine different ones, with one countermeasure. It would be a chaffe, but they are piloted by humans (with joysticks) and come in from different angles.

The same aircraft glides along the night ocean, monitoring the Omzian coasts every second. In just a few seconds, the crews on there detected something. 6 giant airships?

The milimeter wave and low-frequency radar continued to scan the air, with its ultrapercise waves, trying to detect all threats in the theatre. FInally, it detected something.

Another officer, Janue "Raven" Wankson, stared at the constant radar sweep. He just had a short nap, and navigated his way to the offices. Before that, he grabbed a snack from the shop on the ship, and returned to his shift. Just as he noticed the screen, he saw 6 objects --- as with other people in the room.

Wankson's attention was quickly caught, with the 4 objects on the radar sweep. "3 supersonic objects, range within 60km... Missiles," he said quickly. He finally gained everyone else's attention. They rushed to his console. "Missiles...," a female officer said under her breath.

"Objects 187, 186, 185... Air defence system activated," he murmured as he tapped the commands in his console. "Launch of SM-2ER commerces within 3 minutes."

They waited for the message on the console. The sky is still dark, there are still crews on the ship. Finally, a great missile streaked from the series of VLS cells on the ship, blasting its way over the horizon. Other launches continued, within just a few minutes.

Still, the other 3 left undetected. Some reason, perhaps? The crews on the decks scrambled, working with caution --- even though they will not have time to react if the missile hits.

"Inform the fleet headquarters," Wankson murmured, defiantly.

The highest ranking generals of the Omni Conglomerates sat at a meeting table to discuss their plans. The newly promoted General Burg sat in the corner.

"I think we should mobilize our troops and send them into Sniper Country. They can get our boys into the country better than we can. I saw those boys in action during our training action over on Mt. 5. I assure you they can get us in and once we are in we can resume our own command of the men," said the new general.
"But how fast can we get the to 101?" General Lowman said wondering if it was even fesible to move that many troops.
"With the 300 C-5's we have ready we can transport up to 300,000 men every 6 hours," said Burg ready for the question.
"Very well then, give the order to move," said the High General Kaufman.

With that the generals made the decision to transport an enourmous number of men across the ocean to Sniper Country.

"I hope we are making the right move gentlemen," and with that the High General left to make his briefing to the Board of Presidents.

The SM-2ER missiles headed for the 3 detected cruise missiles, streaking at a supersonic speed. Their boosters will increase it further.

With the 3 undetected cruise missiles in range in approximately 6KM --- too close to the ship. The MTHEL reacted, activating their powerful tactical lasers onto the remaining missiles. PDM launchers were also activated, firing their small missiles at the fast cruise missiles. However, it is too late.

A booming sound can be heard on the deck. The first to react is the crews on the deck, frantically yelling. Voices of "fire! fire!" can be heard, as the missiles blew a large hole near the VLS cells --- however, the heavy armor resisted the powerful explosions, being structured well and applied in a huge amount --- with approx. 16 inch on the deck. The other 2 cruise missiles slammed on teh runway, igniting a fire on the loaded up F-14Fs.

Bodies can already be seen, with crew members frantically pushing bombs off the deck, and use the emergency fire fighting system on the ship.

The Omzian Colonel Trans-Ukanarans turned to Colonel Clime, and saluted again. "Nice to meet you too."

Then he turned immediately, and said, "you people will be sent to Osaria immediately, via escorted C-37 Gulfstream Vs." He then pointed to a group of black sedans with agents and other military officers, and said, "in the meanwhile, let's get to the airport."

"Indeed, let's." With that, Sapphire headed off toward the sedans with Colonel Cline in tow.

The Remiesian convoy was about 150 km from the port when radio traffic increased greatly.

Aboard the RNS Bonham the Iowa-class battleship which served as Admiral Ramsey's flagship, the CIC was processing it all.

"Sir," one technician said, "I'm getting traffic from the Omzians that one of their carriers has been hit by cruise missiles!"

"How the hell did that happen? Didn't they pick up the shooter on radar?"

"Doesn't look like it, sir - must have been some sort of stealth aircraft."

The Lieutenant frowned and paced back and forth briefly.

"Print out what you have, I'll run it up to the Admiral."

Five minutes later, Ramsey put Task Force 3 on war footing. All combat systems were manned but the same ROE applied - fire only if fired upon.

The Admiral angrily crumpled the papers and threw them at the bridge windows futily. He took a moment to recompose himelf and looked at the ship's captain.

"This is going to get really ugly, really fast."

OOC: another RL hour or two and the two last divisions will be ashore. At that point all my naval forces consolidate and link up with Omz's.

"Indeed, let's." With that, Sapphire headed off toward the sedans with Colonel Cline in tow.

The Colonel walked with their Smoke Jaguar counterparts, with a pride. "I'm sure this meeting will be extremely meaningful. Tell your leader that the Omzian Armed Forces thank the Smoke Jaguar people," he commented.

OOC: Remiesia, it is actually more like a dreadnought: a small carrier with weaponeries from battleships :P But the repair will take time, although the interior has small impact due to the heavy armor.

Sapphire smiled again. "It most certainly will."
With that, they got into the cars, and headed off to the airport.

A Level 1 Recall has been issued to all Ferrussian personell and assets in Omz222. While we would be glad to assist in any way possible, we are not certain Ferrussia has the time or resources present in your country to assist in any military fashion. Ferrussian tourists are being recalled as part of the Level 1 Recall, any visa-carrying Ferrussian citizens will be encouraged but not forced to leave. No further Ferrussian visas to Omz222 will be granted by the Ferrussian Embassy until conditions change. Please do your best to accomodate the heavy civilian air and sea traffic that will likely be generated by the Level 1 Recall. We have a limited amount of civilian aircraft that could be contributed to supplement civilian traffic out of the country, if requested.

On a different note, the Ferrussian government has taken interest in any possible diplomatic means to support your great country in this tense time. Should a war break out, we would (as previously mentioned) be willing to supplement civilian travel means out of the country. In addition, the government would be highly interested in funding and hosting a refugee program for any displaced civilians that you cannot deal with or need out of harm's way. Our nation's somewhat close position makes this fesible, yet buffers us from the conflict, making it an ideal refugee site. We have the means to establish temporary shelter and amenities for ~100,000 civilians within the week, and ~500,000 in an additional week. Such provisions can and will be made at your request.

We hope that we can help any way possible, and will do so at the slightest request. The Ferrussian Embassy will continue to be manned until the recall is upgraded to Level 3. Diplomatic functions with your country will always remain open, and the Omzian Embassy in Kiev will recieve National Guard protection if necessary.

Hello everyone, I'm Kathy Ziggler for FNN. Today, Prime Minister Nathan Hurst has called an emergency meeting of the Ministerial Cabinet in response to astronomically rising tensions between Sniper Country and longtime Fyreheartian ally, Omz222.

The Ministerial Cabinet would not say what what going to be decided, or if there is any possibility for Fyreheartian involvement if hostilities do break out.

The Prime Minister has also issued a statement of caution to any Fyreheartian citizens in Omz222 or Sniper Country, and those planning to visit those two nations in the near future. Also, if hostilities do in fact begin, a general touring ban will be issued. It would be Fyrehearts first use of the new procedure used to safeguard civilian tourists in other countries.

We will update you as the situation plays out.

The Colonel went in the black sedan: Omzian Armed Forces. While he is happy, he is worried at the inside.

"Get the meeting commerced at the bunker immediately," he said to another officer, as they drove off to the not-so-faraway airport.

The Dreadnought is immediately sent back to the yards. The firefightibng is ended, with a wreck on the weapons areas and runway of the dreadnought. However, the interior is unhurt.

In the meanwhile, another inforcement will be entering: the battlegroup of the first Toryu Class Battleship, ONCS Glory.

The trip to the airport and following plane ride passed without incident, and with a minimum of conversation as Sapphire and Colonel Cline both began going over their respective notes. In short order, the plane touched down at Osaria and the passengers got off, ready to head to the meeting.

Juaziero Submarine Pen - Secret
The submarine pen, unlike the others, was almost full now. Though half of the boats normally berthed there were called up long ago, and another six having just departed, leaving only six old Victory class boats left, they had just gotten 12 more boats in from other pens.
The reason for this was obvious, as not too long ago, some people had been caught snooping around the area, so the Juaziero Pen was currently listed as a possibly compromised. Though it was hard to believe that someone could have found out the location of a pen with all the security measures in place, COMSUBIND wasn't taking any chances. So, if it was compromised, they would now get the impression that most of the submarine fleet was still here, when nearly 200 vessels were already underway towards Omz222.

RED BEACH, Tri-annual large scale amphibious exercise
Despite the impending conflict in Omz222, Clan Smoke Jagaur's high command had decided not to cancel the Red Beach excercise, and right now the entire active landing force, along with several reserve units, was heading to Savinsville Island, near the northern border of the nation, with some 160,000 troops being carried.
The official statement was that Clan Smoke Jaguar would not let world events interfere with their training activities. Unofficially, however, it was suspected that this would be training for a possible operation in the near future.

Elsewhere, numerous freighters were being loaded with large scores of equipment, to be part of a massive convoy that would be heading to Omz222 shortly. To back that up, all designated "rapid deployment" units were being called up and placed on standby, ready to head out at a moment's notice.
