Monarchists Rebel

(( Ok, I got a bit sick of getting ready to join a rebellion or revolution RP, just to see it die after 2 pages, so I started my own, please, if you do get involved, there are no WMD, future-tech, or armies over 1,000,000. Other then that, go right ahead. This is an open RP. The geography of CP will be posted first, then my first post concerning what is going on will follows shortly)

Geography of Canadian Princes - The nation is made up of mainly, 4 large islands going roughly North to South, the islands and their major cities are as follows

The Northern Island (Gazeba) Monarchist Controlled - Rocky coastline, with limited room for ports, only one major port on the island, the rest of the island is mostly a plain it is seperated by the island of Iffae by the Straits of Turling. This island also has very large areas of farmland and Tungsten, coal, and steel mines - Major cities are Halifax (Port on east coast), Asuncia (Large city, central island) and Carbala (Large city near southern cost)

The Central (North) Island (Iffae) Republican Controlled - Mostly a flat open plain, with the Messina river cutting through it's center. Seperated from Gazeba by the Straits of Turling, and seperated from Corusca by the Sea of Gimse, This island's major resources are the heavy fishing in the area, and robust gold, silver, and coal mines - Major cities are Vancouver (Island capitol, port on Western coast), Messina (Port on Eastern coast, on the Messina river Delta), Warswa (Large city aside the Messina river, near the center of the island)

The Central (South) Island (Corusca) Republican Controlled - Disturbingly similar to Iffae in it's geography, Corusca is slightly smaller then it's counterpart to the North. Home to the Governments capitol city. A major difference between Corusca and Iffae is that unlike the Messina River, the Corusca River only cuts through half of the island. The major resources on this island is Wood (From the forests) and some small amounts of oil, though nothing approaching the Southern Island - Major cities are Acheron (National Capitol, on the South bank of the Corusca river near the center), Barbel (Major port on the West coast), Yarm (Large port on the East coast), Folcanus (Major city, near the South Coast)

The Southern Island (Anson) Not CP Controlled (Under Allied occupation and control) - The largest of the 4 islands, Anson features some of the calmest seas of the 4 islands. No major rivers bisect it, and there are very little major mountains or hills. The island however is prized for it's huge oil fields, so much so that when the nation went to war, at the end of the war, the Island was ceded to the Allies so they could maintain control of the valuable oil fields, something many in CP resented who didn't support the original Alliance CP was a part of. - Major cities are Toronto (Major port on the Southern Coast) and Yagar (Major port on North eastern coast). It also boasts the huge Port Argelia Naval Base (An Allied Naval Base)

“This is David Aboriga, reporting live for CPN News from Vancouver on Iffae. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Government forces in the island today, following the rebellion of the Army and Navy forces on Gazeba, a sighting of the exiled Emperor in Messina set off riots all through the island. Following President Archwald’s decision to mobilize the Army to put down the riots, instead of immediately taking back Gazeba, the exiled Emperor Menia III, made his existence known with a fiery speech on board the CPN Diester, that was captured by the rebel forces on Gazeba. He called for all citizens to rise up and join him in throwing out the Allied puppet government.”

“Shortly after, the President made a speech from Acheron, but he was forced to return to his office by a riled crowd, which was very agitated that the Government had let things fly so out of control in only a few days. With the Congress calling for him to leave office, it is expected he will make his resignation known sometime tonight. With the government now in disarray, the Republican Army has remained paralyzed in it’s bases, the only movement being here on Iffae where they have been deployed to keep riots down. Exactly what is happening on Gazeba is unknown to us at this moment, since the Monarchists that control the island have shutdown all communications, what is known is that a minor skirmish has occurred between Republican Naval Forces and Monarchist coastal defenses, the exact outcome is not known. We will now return to local news, expect us back on in several hours...”

We will back the Monarchists to the hilt in this conflict.

I offer immediate troop contributions of 19,000.

6,800 troops aboard several Heavy Landing Craft and Kanimbla Amphibious Assault Landers have just landed on Iffae just before dawn, landing on an isolated beach with no people there. They will set up base in that area and move in on the Republicans from behind, surprising them.

The Emperor turns off the Tv. He sits in his chair, staring at the desk in front of him. His forces were spread out compared to what he normally had. Then he remebered the 3rd and 4th Grand Fleets and the 1-10th Grand Armies.

He nods to a man standing beside the door.

"Sir, I am ready to serve!"

"Take the 1st and 2nd Grand Armies and load them aboard the 3rd and 4th Grand Fleets. The remaining troops will be loaded into...these....and these groups of transport ships."

"Sir, it will be done!"

He nods to another man.

"Sir, I too am ready to serve!"

"Bomber groups 5 and 6 will attack this target here and here. Fighter group 4 will escort them to the target, make sure its quick and there is no warning. I want Corusca island attacked, Barbel city! Knock out ships in the port and power."

"Sir, It too will be done!"

"That goes for you too." he says to the first man.

"Yes sir, the troops will be there in 12 hours upon loading!"

"How long will that take?"

"About 2 hours with the encypted message, sir!"

"Excellent!"

"Make sure the bombers get there 30 min before our ships can be detected!"

"Of course sir!"


After 13 hours 30 min the B-52's reach the targeted area.

"Red stream, we are flying clear."

"Blue stream, you are clear to drop payload."

"Dropping in 3..2...1...dropping load."

"..............confirm multiple hits...."

"Read stream, you are clear to drop your payload on remaining enemy."

"Escort, we are now known, lets get this turned around and head home before we lose a comrade."

"Fire cruise missles against remaining enemy ships that can fight. Also against any land defenses against our troops. Launch all fighters as well at same targets, and any power sorces still left behind. Have the landing craft move forward on my mark.........FIRE.......................NOW!

Missles rain down on enemy ships. Fighters drop missles on any enemy power sorces left in the city. Landing craft quickly move forward, they wil hit port in 5 minutes.

"Nothing more beautiful than a huge landing force...."

50,000 troops move forward under the cover of darkness, missles, and the planes. They will land on a huge areas. They will attack any enemy troops and will secure the harbor. Next they will move to city hall, and then the residential area. The rest will be a taking.

*The President entered the room briskly, shrugging off the greetings and salutes from the Ministers and Generals, he took his seat at the head of the table, the room followed suite*

President Hart - "Gentlemen, someone tell me why I have been woken up at 1:00AM in the morning, unless World War IX has started prematurely I didn't want to be disturbed"

Lord of the Admiralty Bennet - "Sir, this is more grave, it appear the long forgotten Emperor Menia III of Canadian Princes has left the Allied States and returned, over the past few weeks rebellions have sprung up all around the islands, with the exception of the one we control, but President Archwald told us he had everything under control"

Foreign Minister - "But in the last 48 hours things have spun out of control on Canadian Princes. The military on Gazeba has revolted, declaring the Empire re-arisen and pledged loyalty to Menia III, who appeared on one of their "liberated" ships. And now the nations of Isochronous and Telliria have declared war on the Republic of Canadian Princes."

President Hart - "All this happens right when we are about to be involved in a major war! They could not have timed this better!"

Lord of the Army - "Sir, we must let our Allies hold the lines in WWIX, we cannot allow our Oil fields to be threatened, and that is most certainly what Emperor Menia III intends to do. Our Allies have sufficient numbers, we cannot allow this threat so close to home to develope, I propose we send everything we can muster to the Republicans, recall all our transports and the Navy, this is an imminent threat"

President Hart - "....How are the Republicans fairing?"

Admiral Stark - "All we know sir, is that they have lost control of Gazeba to the Monarchists, and they are under attack on Corusca and Iffae. We believe their Navy, which was insignificant to begin with, may have been totally destroyed, no word on their Air Force yet, sir."

President Hart - "Very well, recall all forces, prepare to move significant forces to Anson, and call the Senate to meeting, we need to deploy our Navy to defend the Republicans. I will ask them to issue a decleration to Isochronous and Telliria that if they continue their attacks we will seal off their forces on the Canadian Islands. Alright gentlemen, get to work quickly"

*The room cleared fast as the various members of the General Staff and Administration went off to attend to their duties, it appeared the troubles of the Tortugan Wars still had rippling effects even so far in the future. President Hart approached the map of the Pretoria Sea and stared coldly at the two land masses Northeast of the Allied States and Italy II, North to the Isle of Tortuga, and the islands of Canadian Princes, would these nearby troubles ever come to an end...*

*At 9:00AM in the morning, the Allied Senate granted the Military the power to deploy any and all forces against the Rebels on Canadian Princes. Furthermore an ultimatum was sent to Telliria and Isochronous, withdraw your forces from the Canadian Islands within the next 24 hours or they will be considered hostile.*

*All across the great oceans of the world, the Allied Navy turned around heading back home, for a more imminent threat, a small force was left to guard Barcelona, but the majority of forces were returning home. The meager forces that we left on the Allied homeland and nearby bases were put on a wartime footing, and a Naval sortie arranged to reinforce the 11th Naval Squadron on Anson. The force consisted of the one remaining Fleet Carrier in Allied Waters (The others were being deployed to Barcelona and the Balearics, but all are now recalled) the ANS Invincible and the Excelsior class Battleship ANS Belisarius.*

"Sir we have recieved an ultimatum! We are to withdraw or be attacked by The Sword and Shield. We have 24 hours. The enemy fleets are moving to converge on the island."

"Show them our power, launch our grade 3 (lowest skill pilots) and remaining 1st (highest) grade pilots. Take out all Aircraft carriers that we can. Do it fast and make sure its silent. Insure that the Aircraft carriers don't reach the targets. Have the Battleships launch the remaining cruisemissles, wisely, at enemy ships that come in range. Planes too. Send 10 subs there as fast as possible. I want a supply fleet with 5,000 more men and supplies for men and ships. Give that supply fleet 3 destroyer, 1 agiers cruiser, and 1 aircraft carrier gaurd."

"Yes sir!"

A man, shaking and clearly out of place steps up...

"S-S-sir....may I make the suggestion to put Operation Refresh into action?"

He cowers.

"EXCELLENT IDEA! Move Spec. Forces on this...this...and this target. I want a quick, yet silent approach. Use that new boat, the G-X12, it should be able to make it to the ship before the oil gives."

"How many to the team."

"Its experimental, even though they have 12 years of training, I want groups of 20. Their mission is to get aboard and kill any sailors or soldiers. Give them anything they want. Extra frags too. 10 extra clips.

"Sir may I suggest they sneak in, killing all who stand in the way, and sound the alert siren? It will cause huge confusion. Perhaps say that the ship is under attack and should abbadond ship immediatly? We could plant C4's in non-important areas, and blow them shortly before the call. It should lower resistance significantly, kill crew members no matter what, and if it successed we get a ship and tons of prisoners."

"Make it so."

The Republicans are now isolated by our naval blockade!

((Still wondering how your forces move so quickly, especially since you don't know what Naval forces are challenging your Blockade ))

*The first of the reenforcements troops arrived, huge barges from the Allied mainland arriving on Anson to ensure they had a large enough force to deter a continued attack. A recommendation was made to the Republicans on CP to withdraw to Corusca, this would give them more troops to battle the forces there while Allied troops mustered on Anson. Becuase most forces were still returning from their "deployment" (The Naval forces will arrive in 1 RL day, the bulk of the grond forces will arrive in 2-3 RL days), Allied Command preferred a defensive posture on the ground, and using the Navy to wreak havoc on the Monarchist supply lines. To this end, the 4th, 6th, and 15th Submarine flotillas (5 Los Angeles class Attack subs and 2 Sea Wolf class attack subs each) have been dispatched from Corregidor, Formosa, and Port Royal Naval Base to attack Isochronous merchant ships keeping his Army, Navy, and the Monarchists in supply (Not targeting Telliria ships yet). The 2 supply convoys from the Allied Mainland, one from Corregidor-Yarm, and one from Formosa-Port Argelia, to Canadian Princes, were strengthened with what Convoy escorts were not on their way home. Stroking the stubble on his chin, the Generallisimo read the news report solemnly. Tokarev was weakened by the wars for Likon, Smolny, and Kahta, and only just consolidating it's armies. But this situation was too distressing to let it go unnoticed.




Generallisimo Reventlov put the periodical down and resolutely sat at his old-fashioned typewriter and made a proclamation, to be delivered to the monarchist rebels.

Upon receiving news of the uprising in the Canadian Islands, Reich Chancellor Wilhelm Kübler Einheit III has made the following statement:

To: All Involved Nations

The Empire of North Germania is to remain neutral in this affair, as the lands are distant and North Germania has no allies in the region or interest in the oil, but will provide medical aid to any nations involved. I have sent 4 Hospital Ships, 4 EM-90 Manatee SM-113 Strategic Sealift Ships with 4 Armored Medical Evacuation Vehicles in each. Every EM-90 Cargo Ship also carries 50 armed troops, (5 are snipers with H&K MSG-90A1 Sniper Rifles, 15 armed with Panzerfaust 3 anti-tank weapons, 20 armed with H&K G36 Assault Rifles, and 10 armed with H&K MG-43 Machine Guns) for escort of the Medical Evacuation Vehicles. A team of 10 medics is also being sent with each EM-90 to create temporary hospitals on the islands. The EM-90's are being escorted by 2 Iowa Class Battleships, 4 Seawolf Class Subs, and 5 Bradenburg Class Frigates.

Each hospital ship will dock at a safe region in each island, respectively. The EM-90 Ships will unload where the hospital ships dock, respectively.
The naval escorts will be divided according to the placement of the hospital ships and EM-90's. The ships will be flying the following flag of naval neutrality:

The ground forces are strictly an escort and will only attack if attacked first by any nation or group.

*Orders were jubilantly sent to the Fleet and Army, all forces, with the exception of one Fleet Carrier battlegroup, and a few more ships, were told to again turn around, and proceed to the World War IX proper. At the time, the reason for this was unknown to most Allied soldiers, but as the morning turned to the afternoon, it became clear. They first appeared at Corregidor, hundreds of ships arriving from a distant land. The ships flew the flag of the long-forgotten ally of the Unholy Empire of Padmasa. The Padmasan Navy was non-existant, but their Air Force was competent, and the Army huge. The Allied Command knew full well that the Canadian's remembered the brutality the Padmasan troops had taken on CP Military personell and civilians when the Allies destroyed the Canadian Empire. Many old Canadians still bore the scars, missing hands and fingers, a marking on their abdomen showing the Padmasans had taken them. It was doubtful the Canadians would enjoy fighting with Padmasans, but the Allied troops were desperately needed elsewhere. The Allied Forces already in the area, were to stay, and the Padmasans were to begin immediate outfitting and deployment to Anson and Corusca.*

Around 80,000 Soldiers (Exact makeup of the force coming as soon as Padmasa tells me what equipment he is sending them with, or would like them outfitted with, he has placed these forces under my command)

(( Sorry, sorry. I haven't actually had a computer for the longest time (Sad for me), but I do these posts when I am at one of my friends house who has a computer (At this moment, SnS). I'm keeping track of most of this on a peice of paper, so my posts may be far between sometimes, or a flood of them at others ))

:: Emperor Menia III ascended the stairs of the Judicial Building in Vancouver. He stepped up to the platform, looking down at the podium as the crowd that had been cheering wildly quieted down, the Emperor was about to speak. ::

:: The Emperor slowly looked up from the podium, his creased wary face, lines with streaks of what appeared to be tears. He carefully looked over the crowd assembled before him, hundreds of thousands strong, all here to praise the return of their true ruler. ::

He began to speak "People" :: His voice cracked a bit as he held back his emotions ::

"Citizens of Vancouver, people of the great Empire of Canadian Princes... it is with great pride that I look upon this nation today. Only a few months ago you were run by a corrupt puppet government in Acheron, but really they were forcing you to submit to Philadelphia. But you took your fate into your own hands, you cast them out of your islands of Gazeba and Iffae, a great many soldiers and sailors joined you in the fight, and those that remained loyal puppets were forced back by your glorius urge for homeland control, not bowing to foreign Senates."

"Then you pleaded before the Gates of Hades for the return of your true ruler, your benevolent and glorious ruler, and so it was, that I returned to my beloved nation, to once more lead it to glory. We have driven the puppets to the last of their holdouts, no doubt they now cower and beg for help from Philadelphia and Padmasa City, our forces are of the people, for the people's benefit, and no Legion of Padmasa, no Battlefleet of The Sword and Sheild, No Puppet Horde can stop our glorious ascent. With our allies supplying us, and our own factories now gearing up, we are prepared to begin the final phase of our rise, we march on Corusca soon!"

:: The Crowd erupted into cheers, emotion electrifying them, some overwhelmed fell to the ground crying, the glory days long forgotten were returned. All across the island, the men in their 70's and 80's, who had remembered the humiliation and defeat of the Canadian-Allied War, cried, for they could no longer march with their brothers in arms to revenge the defeat. The young men of Imperial Canada wept as well, for they could now take up arms to revenge their fathers and grandfathers humiliation. And the middle-aged men and women wept a final time, for they had Sons and Brothers who were old enough... nay young enough to march off to the glorious battle!

Anson Command has deployed the XXII Infantry Division (Makeup posted before) to Acheron to act as a defense force for the island along with the Republican Armies. A mixed Allied-Padmasan force of some 12,000 soldiers (plus 170 Artillery, 250 Challenger II and Leopard II tanks, an assault gun brigade, and 120 M2A2 Bradley IFV's) has been dispatched to Barbel to aid the Republican and Stonies forces in pushing out the Telerian forces.

Tokarev is willing loan 5 recently auctioned off Iowa-battleships and 10 Oskar-class cruisars to the monarchan cause.

Telliria mounts a full defense. They lay back and hold buildings, garrisoning them a holding of the enemy. The rear begins to move into landing craft and board the ships lost by the enemy. Ships reload planes and send them out to attack the enemy in the town. Sailors begin to move into the captured ships, attempting to take as many as possible.

After heavy fighting, Tellirian soldiers begin full retreat back to the landing craft. Planes hit buildings to knock them down and block streets after Tellirian troops pass. Troops jump into landing craft and fire at any enemy giving chase. The landing craft return to ships where they board.

The retreat takes 3-4 hours, but soon the ships are leaving the harbor and heading to Monarchist owned land. Here they will await 5,000 more reinforcemtns being sent by plane.

The Canadian Expeditionary Naval Force has been sent from Corregidor to Yarm to serve the Republican Navy after it's heavy loss of ships at Barbel. Elements of the 2nd Armored and 5th Mech. Inf. have been sent from Anson to Corusca to serve the Republicans also, and the supply convoys will continue. However Allied Command has sent a message to Canadian Command, it can no longer send any more forces, and may have to pull back the ones deployed there at a later time (Except the Naval Force) so command of these forces (The Anson forces will remain under my control) is transferred to Acheron.

There are about 60,000 fresh Republican Forces (from the Army of the Republic), the 12,000 Padmasan-Allied troops didn't see much action I think, so they are fresh, the Stonies forces aren't as exhuasted as the 70,000 Republican Army of the West. But they are all still very familar with the city at the moment, having been fighting in it for several weeks.

I think CP can answer this better, but I would suggest either landing on my island of Anson, but then it takes even longer to get your men into the fight. CP Has another port on Corusca (Yarm), it has only been lightly attacked, and is covered by a large Naval Force (The one I sent him), and a large Army.

It's around 3am in the morning, and a further 60,000 Isochron troops arrive to bring the total there to 82,000. They quietly land on the beach head, while others parachute in. They advance a bit, set up HQ and begin consolidating their position while further forces arrive.

12 ANZAC frigates, 9 Collins Class subs, 20 Adelaide Class MTDs, 3 Aegis destroyers, a Huon Class minehunter and Sea Sprite anti-submarine helicopters are on full alert for any attack. While the waters are calm, the Kanimbla amphibious assault ships return with another 29,000 soldiers, plus three Jervis Bay transports with 2,500 troops, tanks and helicopters.

There are now 113,500 troops in Barbel.

The Isochrons decide to take the initiative; with further air strikes by the Leader Wing Group (80 F-22s, 9 B-2s and 40 F/A-18s). 69 Sea Hawks, 15 Apaches and 10 Black Hawks come up after the air strikes to attack the 5th Mechanized.

OOC: 129,000 up from 60,000 in only 20 minutes, damn, I need your transports. Mind explaining how they got here, or how they got through my subs (There are more then just the 3rd Submarine Flotilla, there are 3 other Sub flotillas).

IC: The 5th has continued it's advance to Barbel to supplement the forces there, some trucks have been forced to stop, and some tracked vehicles have stopped as well under the fire, and light losses have been taken. But Allied Fighters (Posted before) scrambled immediately upon hearing of the Isochronous fightes, along with what CP Air Units can be scrapped together (Since I don't know all his Air Force, I'm assuming at least the 1 wing of F-22 Raptors I sold him he still has in his AFB outside Acheron), and around 58 fighters (F-26 SeaWasps, and F-24 SeaTyphoon II's) were scrambled from the Invincible to intercept the Isochronous planes.

The Volgan Brigades and Regiments arrive, and is setting up camp on Anson. The Blackhawks are prepared for departure (320 out of 350 are needed), and fighters are detached from Volgan Air Defense to act as escorts. 65 Su-47's, nearly the whole fighter wing, are to be despatched from an as yet unnamed Volgan carrier in the region. The carrier also carries 20 Su-59 Fighter/Bombers, another 5 Su-47's and 10 E-2C's.

The Battlefield is the city of Barbel (A port on Corusca). There is also an Air battle going on at the same time, and the forward elements of the 5th Mechanized have arrived. I myself will not post any further actions concerning the Battle of Barbel until Canadian Princes gets on, after all, he controls the major Republican Armies in the sector.

The 6 stonies Urban Brigade (6*500 soldiers) after having suffered light losses tracking the retreating tellirian forces are now settling in Barbel, spread in the city they begin to defend the city, 600 snipers (6*100, equipped with silencers and night optics) deploy in the city ruins chainguns nest (300 M-249 nests), anti-tanks units (150 M136/AT4) and mortars (150 25 M224 60mm) are set in abandonned buildings along Barbel's main streets waiting for the republican to arrive, they are ordered of immediate pullback if situation gets out of control.

4 stonies Forest Brigade (4*500 soldiers) are on maximum alert in a small airfield in Barbel's countryside, they'll participate in any republican reinforcements to Barbel's defensors or any counter attack on Barbel, they are mounted on 50 Broadswords (20 soldiers per helicopter, 2*500 defends the airfield, heavily entranched by the stonies). A small squad of explosives experts from the Stonies Intervention Team starts to mine the entrance of Barbel's port, reporting the location of the mines to the Allied Command.

Allied Anson Naval Command at Port Argelia has sent a flash message to the sub flotillas in the area, instructed the 3 remaining ones that are not interdicting Isochronous ships, to make for the Tellirian fleets that are being detected entering the area. It is suspected a large Battleship force is ripe for the picking, and all 18 Los Angeles SSN's and Sea Wolf SSN's have been dispatched to intercept every Tellirian ship it could.

None of those men are in battle at Barbel, he was in the battle, then retreated, quite brilliantly, against a larger force. He's now sending more troops, though he hasn't specified where, but they are approaching.

ic: The previously unnamed Volgan Aircraft Carrier in the region, the VCN Marengo has arrived with a small fleet of escorts (3 Cruisers, 5 Destroyers, 4 Frigates). It boasts an air wing of 70 Su-47's, 20 Su-59's (fighter/bombers), and 10 E-2C's. In addition, 2 Fighter and 1 Heavy Bomber wings have been detached from Volgan Air Force Command. This means a further 120 Su-47's, 30 B-1B's and 25 B-52's are being shipped in. The transports they are coming in are escorted by 7 Frigates and 2 Destroyers.

The Volgan Infantry Brigade has set up and airbase 50km behind the lines. The Helicopters are patrolling the area around it while the Infantry are building fortifications and setting up an airfield. Three more such bases will be built, each guarded by a battalion of infantry. An air wing will be stationed at each one, with the Helicopters using the last air base as an operating station.

Volga: I paid a total of 72 billion, give or take, for that entire fleet. My national budget at time(s) of purchase was a little more then 337 billion, I believe (it's now over 400 billion). That's about 20% of my national budget, which is what I have allocated to my military spending, and besides that these purchases were not made all at once. The Ticonderogas, Spruances, and most of the Perrys were bought at one time, the Removals and Sacramentos at another, and the Iowas and the rest of the Perrys I didn't pay for, as I said. As for crew, my nation has 1.8 million enlisted men, but my standing army is no more then 300,000. The rest are either put into the navy or various reserve forces. It takes about 120,000 men to have that fleet running at full strength, and that makes up only a small fraction of the 1.5 million men available.

Please use your naval crew to guard the flotilla around Barbel, and if possible land some troops to begin the push inland!

Tellirian 8 subs (Sea Wolf SSN's) move ahead to find a threat before it hits the convoy. The convy begins a zig-zag pattern to help dodge any threats that might come, and they spread the convoys out in the middle of the group sot that they will save more in case of attack.

The Tellirian convoy sends a message to the fleet in Tellirian lands for more ships. The Fleet responds with 8 Destroyers on the way. The zig-zag pattern will move in a larger pattern and will await the battleships. In all, this sets back the plans by 5 more hours.

The Tokarev fleet assembles, adding to the ever growing flotilla off Barbel. A message is sent back to Tokarev, and 100,000 men, one third of Tokarev's standing army, are sent on old tankers converted to carry ambphibious assault craft. 600 T-98E tanks are also being shipped.

Lucifers Wrath's small group of rag-tag volunteer guerillas will be aiding the Stonies in their efforts.

We already have troops there. They are readying for a push inland.

With the Volgan airbases fully set up, a massive air raid on Barbel commenced. The entire bomber wing (30 B-1B's, 25 B-52's), a section of the carrier's air wing (20 Su-59's), and the 2 Fighter Wings (120 Su-47's) made a massive attack against in and around Barbel. Huge explosions engulfed the city as immense amounts of bombs struck the area indiscriminately, hitting civilians and soldiers equally hard. Losses were: 4 B-1B's, 6 B-52's, 2 Su-59's, 12 Su-47's

In other news, the Volgan high command ordered another, larger force out. A division of elite Infantry (9,600 soldiers) as well as 12 Air Wings (1 Reconnaisance, 5 Fighter, 3 Bomber, 2 Fighter/Bomber, 1 Infantry Support) were ordered in an extremely heavily defended convoy of cruise liners and aircraft transport ships (10 Cruise Liners, 24 Aircraft Transport) to the island of Anson, where the escorts (42 Destroyers, 53 Frigates, 19 Cruisers) would then be detached to attempt to blockade Barbel.

i am sending 10,000 troops that are on their way in amphibios landing craft along with a super-carrier, and escorts.

That air group is bombing Halifax then.

The newly arrived soldiers (9600 infantry, 12 Air Wings) are being put into airbases. Each battalion (12 of which there are) has been set to building an airbase which they will then guard. Now there are 15 Volgan Air Wings in the Republican territories near Barbel. A Corps of Volgan regulars is being mobilised, but it wont be available for a day or two. As soon as those airbases are constructed, the attack wing will combat the Monarchists on the beach shore, while fighters will provide cover. Bombers will launch raids against Halifax fairly constantly, and the Recon wing will be dedicated to finding submarines of the enemy, and warning of enemy aircraft.

The arsenal ship launches a full salvo of cruise missiles. Three of the Iowas, the Ticonderogas, and 30 of the Perrys launch over 150 assorted Tomahawk and Harpoon missiles in a secondary salvo. The Helicopter carriers begin launching helicopters as the fleets grow closer, and the Sacramento-class ships fall back so they will not bear any of the enemy fire. The Spruance-destroyers fall back around the Carriers as the Perrys, Ticonderogas, and Iowas steam forwards.

The fleets F/A.22s(slower sea version of F-22), tomcats, hornets and sea harriers carrying out caps detected the helicoters/missiles from the vikings RADAR.
They launched their missiles against the enemys missiles and the harriers went in to attack the helicopters,
at the same time the second and third waves of missiles were launched and the still undetected subs fired their torpedoes.

Isochron troops further reinforce their positions around Barbel, and continue the artillery and aerial bombardment of the city, whilst small attacking teams continue to annoy the enemy.

My specialized troops have made their way round the back of enemy forces and now prepare to make their attacks (1000 men, normally a 2/3 chance of a sucessfull mision against medium defended targets such as gun enplacements and another 1/2 chance of escaping)
Out at sea the aircraft reked havoc on the helicopters and the missiles went straight into the enemy Fleet. the torpedoes were on their way and would soon strike aswell as the missiles launched from the ohio far away safely guarded by 2 hunter sumarines. meanwhile the re-enforcements of an extra 40,000 troops (20,000 in air transports) and a task force from Hotdogs2 (im now in control of them as thats another one of my nations(the greatest ever!) with 2 arsenal ships(500 missiles in total with a crew of 75 each!) 2 nimitz, 4 IOWAs, and around 40 other ships made their way along with 20 hunter subs and supply/tanker ships.

This looked to be a great fight on land also as H2 sent 30,000 extra troops(40,000 in total) with a large number of tanks/fighters/helicopters etc.

I now have 140,000 troops in my control!
Edit: the ohios missiles are aimed at high importance land targets in and around Barbel. The missiles are non nuclear.

IC: The Tokarev fleet launched a full broadside against the Buckaro forces, sending out nearly twice as many cruise missiles as have been fired so far by both sides put together and hundreds of explosive shells and torpedoes.

This RP is going nowhere.

My losses were:
1 kitty hawk carrier(most aircraft were in air and escaped to other carriers then onto airfields on land)

The reinforcing fleet arrived and sent a massive 400 missiles into the enemy fleets. Also 10 FAC-10s(fast atk craft) moved in to make an attack with less conventinal means(they come at night, and land troops on enemy ships to take them over and cause havoc)

Fighters onshore began an attack on enemy airfields and strategic points, readeing the way for troops to atk at any given time...
Meawhile, the sabateurs struck at strategic points and took out as many SAMs as possible to clear the way for the fighters. 100 of the men struck at 25 key strategic points with the aim of causing maximun disruption.

The remaining ships launched all they had straight into the enemy forces...20 FAC-10s (carried in special containers) armed full of explosives left for the enemy fleets, remotly controlled, with improved stealth and speed (now 60knots+), to act like the fire ships of the armada in the 1600s. It was hoped at least 6 would get through, and that these would take out at least two ships each and damaging many more, or at least cripling one or two and damaging alot.
The aircraft were sustaning heavy losses but pressed on as there were only a few harriers in their way(in terms of aircraft). Once in range they let losse a massive assortment of missiles that were to coincide with the other missiles launched as well as going in with guns on the remainning Tokarev fleet, those who were extreme pratriots, and seing that the chances of escape being miniscule, finished all their rounds off and went into make their final move in life, a move that they hoped would save many lives. Meanwhile the Ohios missiles hit their targets, taking out what was hoped to be HQs and high priorety taegets to make the attack that was soon to begin on the rebels easyer.
The main fleets ships fired of another volley of missiles, as well as missiles of mobile launchers on land, a total of 500 missiles, with the hope that they would swamp the enemy defences ocupied by the Planes of the Rear guard part of the fleet. 100 planes took of to take out power stations onland and other targets such as bunkers. Tankbuster planes and helicopters also took of from onshore under the cover of an umbrella of Fighters.
Onshore bombardment was also taking place as 5 Iowas and 30 Destroyers/cruisers headed of to attack the Enemy fleets.

The 1st,3rd and 6th Tank regiments(consisting of MT-16s, a 155mm gunned MBT produced by Buckaro) supported the 1st,2nd,4th and 5th mechanized regiments(11,000 ATT-14s with 8/10 men per APC, again produced by buckaro) with 100,000 troops made their way towards the Monarchists (OOC:we need CP!!!). These troops were all the best trained troops in the Buckaro/Hotdogs2 Marines/commandos etc and used the local environment to their advantage. The 10,000 Mt-16s moved foward on the enemy bunkers, using their Massive guns to pound them into submission. Paratroopers and special service men were drooped in to take out communications and attack supply lines to slow/stop reinforcements from being sent(20,000 in total) The extra troops have been sent from Buckaro in Transports, while supported by Fighter cover.

I now have 200,000 combat troops along with 200,000 supply troops(i would like to add that these troops were brought in by Buckaros quick reaction force, consisting of lots of transports)

Losses are all of the Rear guard fleet(inc subs) and most of the planes, only 50 of 300 survive!!!
An estimated 2000 missiles were fired, including ones from planes, at the enemy fleets along with around 70 16 inch shells and 300 smaller shells(56mm mainly).
Also destroyed were 15 supply/tanker ships and damage was done to the main fleet due to 10 missiles hitting each other!!!

OOC: I was in a hurry when typing up the list and didn't bother to doublecheck, 650 was an error. I think the number would be closer to 70 or 100. Don't feel like checking it exactly.



Anyway, losses sustained are about 20 supply/support ships, all of our helicopters, half of the Perrys, half of the Spruances, and three helicopter carrirers.

With a war ended, Tellirian troops turn to this conflict. Seeing thta the Monarchists are being targetted, Tellirian troops take off in ships and in planes.

Today Telliria has made the decision to make Barbel burn.

"The city has been evacuated, all that remains is a bunch of enemy troops waiting for the moment to slaughter allied troops!"

500 F-16s and 200 F-22s gaurded 250 B-2s, 500 B-52's, and 100 Su-34s. With Isochronous finishing off enemy air units, and the city already a heaping pile of rubble after heavy attacks from Telliria and Isochronous, the city should be easily hit.

The bombers drop Napalm on the town, sending it up in a fiery blaze. Although a few planes were hit by enemy fire, everything went smoothly, and now the city burns.

The fire was concentrated in the middle, but did hit around the edges to spread it quickly. As far as Telliria knows, no Monarchist forces were hit, but allied forces could have been in the area.

With Volgan air units concentrating on Monarchist ports, these air attacks came as a shock. As soon as a few hundred fighters could be mustered, they counter-attacked around Barbel, blasting in ferociously.

Since the enemy air forces seem so considerable, it has been decided that the entire Volgan 2nd Air Force (720 Su-47's, 120 B-1B's, 100 B-52's, 30 E-3's, 30 P-3's, 240 Su-59's, 120 A-10's, 30 AC-130's) is being shipped in. With it comes 24 Battalions of infantry, an entire Volgan Corps (19,200 Soldiers) will be sent. Scores of giant transport ships, as well as huge cargo freighters are sailing for safe Republican force under guard from 48 Frigates, 60 Destroyers, 28 Cruisers and 1 Battleship (one of only two in the Volgan Navy). As soon as they arrive, the infantry battalions will set up heavily defended airbases (one battalion guards one wing of 60 aircraft unless those aircraft are large, e.g. AC-130's, B-52's). It is hoped this air force will give the Republicans the air superiority they sorely need.

Tellira scrambles up the fighters that were guarding the bombers, plus 250 more F-16's, and 50 more F-22s. 500 SU-47's are also moving in. All fighters and bombers will do a hit and run mission then turn around and to it agian. They will then return to base.

ic: Seeing the enemy fighters approaching, wave after wave of SAMs are launched, with the escorts hoping to put up enough flak to detter all but the most daring attacker. But alas, it is not effective at all, 5 Infantry transports are sunk and 9 ships transporting aircraft are sunk too. 7 Destroyers, 5 Frigates and 2 Cruiser follow these ships to their graves.

The Royal Isochron Air Force finishes bombarding Barbel, with the planes diverting to three things: guarding above the allied Monarchist forces, and heading for the enemy naval convoy.

The Generals decide: enough, is enough. Time to make our move!

130,000 men. They begin to spread out. Armoured divisions of Leopard IIs, APCs, Land Rovers and Challenger IIs move around to advance on Barbel. Troops rush around to the other side of Barbel, with paratrooprs dropped, meaning Barbel is completely encircled and cut off. A team of Alpha Force paratroopers, Isochronous' most elite army unit, under the cover of darkness parachute in, including a team of specially trained snipers to launch daring hit and run attacks on the enemy.

The newly arrived, if badly mauled Volgan air units are now completely set up in heavily fortified airfields. The entire air force is making a heavy strike on all Monarchist units around Barbel. Fighting will be fierce, but the 700 or so Volgan Fighters should give the edge than can give the Republicans victory.

This will be a great air battle. There are swarms of Isochron air units above the skies of Barbel.

I just worked it out its 900 Su-47's and about 100 Su-59's on my side fighting your fighters.

The Federal Navy had remained inactive for most of the conflict, content to sit in it's ports while the Republicans got beat. The Submarine Corps were the only vessels doing anything in the area (Which btw, they should be devestating your convoys, I've seen no attempts to nuetralize that attempt). However with ships returning from WWIX, which was considered now a non-hostile enviroment, the Navy finally began to recognize the threat a Monarchist coup could pose to the Federal interests in the area.

There was still a huge Padmasan force sitting on the Federal Homeland, just sucking up funds (It numbers 100 Legions, which is his form of Divisions, or in otherwords, around 500,000 troops), no attempt was made to ferry them over due to lack of available transports. Now with the Home Fleet swelling, the move was finally made to dispatch two Federal Corps, and the Padmasan Army to the support of the Republicans. Massive troops convoys, under the careful watch of the Federal Air Force, and Federal Home Fleet, moved to Yarm, unloading huge numbers of troops.

To bolster the waters, a task force of ships returning form WWIX was created, Force G, of around 47 ships to secure the waters around the Republican isle. The Federal Air Force further dispatched the III Air Force, veteran pilots from WWIX, and the most advanced Air Force in the FAF, to bolster the air defense of the island. Buckaros surrounded forces had met the enemy on their way in and had given them hell, the tanks had turned to face their new challenge, The Leopards, they outgun them and have better armour but have roughly the same obstacle performance(1.1m) The troops(Who should not be surrouded as i would of counter attacked!!!) The troops destroid any buildingd that were of no use to them and fortified every building, they would never surrender, they now knew the layout of the city well, and as they are so called "expert troops" made the best possible use of the landscape, hidding in a rapidly growing underground tunnel system, allowing the troops to attack the anemy from least expected possitions, if entrances were found then the tunnel was blocked and destroid so as to make the tunnels safe.

Out at sea there was panick, a new-replacement fleet was on its way, with fresh aircraft to take over the remaing 150 planes jobs.

The fleet launched 200 helicopters and 50 missiles to destroy telirias forces on the ground (have they landed? If not then fighters(75 F/A.22s) are on intercept course and 10 atk subs, 2 Iowas, 2 kirovs and an assortment of 15 cruisers/destroyers are on their way to wype out the enemy ships, this was to be a great victory against a badly defended enemy task force(8 Agis ships are there to protect against the enemy Planes)

Another 50 missiles were launched from an arsenal ship, aimed at enemy troops in and around barbel. A few seconds later a second and third volley were fired, another 100 missiles, with a total of 75 being stealth.

The 150 aircraft are aircraft from the main fleet that are still on the main fleets carriers, i also have another 50 from the rear guard fleet,

They have a mach4+ speed, but for the purposes of this war im sayng they have a mach3+ speeed so as not to have any arguments, it is possible to have a mach 4+ plane, check at the bottom of this post for some info. These numbers are after the attack on barbel and the main fleet, I would like to add (Telliria) that more than 15 F-16s, 4 F-22s, 45 B-2s, 32 B-52's and 2 Su-34s would have been shoot down by my aircraft, there were around 150 planes on land that were not, as far as i can tell, being attacked, next time wait for what the enemy does!!! And also B-2s are a lot harder to shoot down than b-52s/B1s, more B-52s rather than B-2s should have been shoot down.

IC: The troops on-shore had mainly been trapped in Barbel, but around 20,000 had tried to escape, 5000 of whom seemed to have been passed by the enemy forces, as they had managed to make their way into the tunnels they had been digging, they were expected to use their iniciative, as well as what their commanders had told them before the attack to make raids against supply lines, Supply lines that seemed to be getting exhausted by the great rebublic fleets out at sea(OOC: HINT!!!)

The troops in Barbel relied heavily on the tunnels, tunnels that lead out of the city, allowing troops to escape, or new troops to enter, the enemy were expected to soon realise this, and this was why the new fleet carried another 200,000 troops, with 10,000 T-16s, and also why they were supported by a massive supply fleet and Defensive cover. The new fleet was due in 6ns hours, and had 3 Arsenal ships including the pride of the Admiralty the "Buckaroan Burner". 200new aircraft were built especially to fill any emtpy spaces on the newest fleet(the 6th, its feassible because the 1st and 3rd compromise mainly of FAC-10s/atk subs)

OOC: Mach 4+ planes are feasible because:Think about the Blackbird or Pratt and Whitney J58. Two engines In a Blackbird drives it up to mach3.2. This engine started development in the 1950’s for the US navy. Its now about 50 years later, To my knowledge there is no mach4 engine around, although a mach4 engine has been announced to have been started to be developed.
OOC: Defence is my top priorety, and in ns years im 30 years+ old, long enough to have a large military, navy and airforce(my navy and airforce are most important, due to the nature of the terain/seas around Buckaro.

No, my troops are on the other side of the island.

They are right, using puppets to fund your military is godmoding, 10 Nimitz is an insanely huge amount for your nation, only over a month old, unless you, like me, are a Naval nation, in which case your Army and Air Force are small or crap. And even if you are, you'd have to be seriously lacking in types of other ships if you have 10 Nimitz. So I would consider your 10 Nimitz from a puppet godmoding.

Having determined that the current air units in the battlezone were inadequate, yet more are being sent over. But this time, all the units are ground attack or fighters. Twelve wings in total, ten of which are fighters and the rest attack aircraft (total: 600 Su-47's, 60 A-10's, 50 AC-130's) are being shipped over. But this time, in addition to a massive fleet of escorts (36 Frigates, 48 Destroyers, 29 Cruisers), 3 Aircraft Carrier will be accompanying the fleet. They are completely outfitted with fighters and a few AWACS aircraft (total: 250 Su-47's, 10 E-2's). It is hoped these new aircraft will finally give the Republicans the air superiority they so sorely need.

In addition, the Volgan 3rd Army (3 Infantry Corps, 2 Armoured Divisions, 3 Air Cavalry Divisions) is being shipped across. It is expected to take at least 120 hours RL for every unit to get across. These units will be protected by the same fleet as the air units.

Meanwhile, above Barbel, the fierce and huge air battle continues. Already 175 Su-47's and 30 Su-59's have been downed.

130,000 men continue the assault on Barbel, seizing the east end of the city quickly. The enemy has not been resupplied for over a week now, it must tire soon.

Intelligence has detected more of the Buckaro fleet sailing towards the Monarchists. Isochronos secretly lays sea mines right in the path of the Buckaro fleet. 8 Collins Class subs move out to intercept and destroy it, along with 130 Harriers.

Due to major political change, the Stonies army definetely retired from Canadian Princes.
However, concerned by the situation due to rebellion, Stonieland is ready to aid canadians from both republican and monarchist side by sending the 2nd humanitarian fleet:

I am sure you understand none of these troops are non-fighting and absolutely neutral, they will provide medical help for all canadians.

Tellirian ships flying a medical flag will be going to Barbel port and the medical center set up by stonies soon. My injured troops are heading to the Medical ship set up in the port sent a long time ago. The one heading to the medical center is purely civilans and much more serious cases of our own troops. We request that they be taken care of since they will be unable to fight anymore.

70,000 men move from ships to beaches. The go around the city and begin momvent. They are heading to the capital city.

Yes! We will be unstoppable now! Surrender Allied forces, or face the death of your men and yourselves. Surrender now, and I will spare you.

All 10 Regiments of the Death Korps of Kreig, and al 12 batteries of artillery have just landed and are marching to save the capital, at least untill renforcments arrive. The navy, now unberdened with troops, moves to join the Allied Monarchist Fleet, while all the transports and an escort go back to the Empire of South Prussia to pick up more troops, already the plea for volentiers has been recieved with an un-expectedly large answer getting 20,000 able men ready to fight within six months.

The Isochronous Army is encroaching further on Barbel, and soon the entire city will be under its control.

While most troops are working on taking Barbel, others are fanning out to break through enemy lines to meet up with Terillian forces. In the biggest helicopter mobilisation in history, 50 Black Hawks, 358 Sea Hawks, 38 Sea Sprites and 49 Apaches all go on the attack, busting up armoured divisions and causing nuisance to the enemy.

The Volgan Army units have arrived 50 miles from Barbel. They will immediately set off to attempt to drive off the Monarchist (and Monarchist allied) troops from the beaches around the city with a heavy attack. They number:

They will all be sent to assist the defence of Barbel, whether they do so by air or ground. This means the Volgan air units above Barbel number more than 1500 fighters (minus losses), as well as hundreds of support craft, bombers, ground attack planes and surveillance units.

It is hoped this immense increase in fighting power can enable the Republicans to finally throw the Monarchist invaders from the island. If victory is successful in Barbel, the forces will move to throw other Monarchist units from the island.

Tokarev, radioing all Monarchist forces beforehand to tell them to stay clear of Barbel for a couple of hours in the early morning, launches a massive bombardment. B-52 bombers unload, carpet bombing the military strongpoints while hundreds of cruise missile launched from arsenal ships and battleships smash into buildings, tanks, men, and streets a like with equal inpunity. After a full hour of continuous fire, the Tokarev navy halts the withering hail of fire and makes a beachhead, landing an armed force to break through the beleaguered defences.

In addition, two artillery battallions and an armored division are left to secure the beachhead for reinforcements and supplies. (An Artillery battalion is 350 men with approximately 40 155mm Howitzers)

The Volgan troops arrive on the outskirts of Barbel, to find the city already burning. Thousands upon thousands of soldiers rush into the city, while troops with Stinger missile launchers watch for the enemy helicopters. Forward elements of the enemy (particularly the South Prussians) are overrun very quickly, as they cannot compete with the immense amount of support Volgan troops have. Soon a line of sorts is created, with Volgan, Republican and other Republican allies on one side while the Monarchist allies fight on the other. The air battle above the city is out of hand, as there are so many planes fighting that scores of them have collided. The low flying Volgan attack aircraft are devastated by enemy anti-air fire, but still cause considerable damage. The helicopters were similarly hurt.

I wish this was a closed/private RP now, all these tiny nations(even by my standards, 300+is good 500+is great...) are going to be saying were all their troops are, it’ll be a reading nightmare...and please go on the republics side, in the weekend im gonna get my full million troops!!!

IC: The fleet had received information of the enemies mines in the way, the spy satellites and computers noting the path taken, they then found the safest way through(the way that less mine ships had gone through) and several mine clearance ships went on their way at the front, the enemy ships were picked up on RADAR and so were the aircraft, they should be destroyed with ease by the hundreds of F/A.22s. The enemy subs should also be no problem, 50 aircraft were sent as soon as the first sign of a sub was detected, 500 missiles were launched at the mine layers and tokarev fleet but the Isochronous mine layers were not noticed.

On shore THE WELL SUPPLIED troops in Barbel were putting up heavy resistance, their underground tunnels allowing them to turn up at the most unexpected momments, the supplies were being brought in by small, fast ships, many civilian, so as not to be destroyed by the enemy fleet.(OOC: in an earlier post i did say about the tunnels, ill have to check, if not then: the tunnels wre built as soon as the enemy troops were encountered in and around Barbel, adding to the already built main tunnels that linked the city way out of it to the west(so far that a few tunnels were nearly at the shore)

I fell as if im being slightly ignored, especialy on land, my Tanks should have stooped many enemy troops.

Losses: I cant say how many tanks have been lost yet but:
10,000 troops in barbel had been lost, taken prisoner(if prisoners are being taken) or disappeared

My new fleet is taking over right now, if any new enemy fleets arive then ill send out ships/fighters to attack it. Supply ships are being targeted by 24 Bangle atk subs, this should stop any enemy re-enforcements/supplies reaching them. the new fleet also contained an extra 300,000 troops, 225,000 of wich were being carried in transports(aircrat) and being guarded by a large force of fighters that were to land on airfields on shore and help out in the air. They were also to carry out raids on enemy shiping or to attack any military aircraft from the enemy, and any civilian craft carriyng enemy troops that were to re-enforce them.
The area around CP was to become a no fly zone, and the seas a no shp zone, but this was only to bigger ships that could pose a threat, so before you say we destroyid one of your Red cross ships, take into acount that only ships that are a threat (that come to close to our fleet or try to fire a missile at us) will be destroid and those that are chossen by me or a high ranking admiral.

OOC: Maybe you missed my earlier posts, but somewhere on Page 8 I posted my fleet's reinforcements, and in an earlier post on this page I say that they have secured the waters around Barbel. Your newly arrived fleet just can't take over without a large scale naval battle.






IC: The combined Tokarev fleet launches waves of X-45s, super-maneuverable fighters, to challenge enemy air forces both over the city and the sea. The salvo which so decimated Barbel now turn towards the Buckaran navy and fire, hundreds of cruise missiles, shells, Harpoon missiles, and other anti-ship weapons smash into the enemy vanguard. Meanwhile, the land forces push into the city, while the beach is secured by tanks and men while heavy artilllery pounds enemy strongpoints.

The Buckaran guerillas plague the advancing battallions, and soon the Tokar forces start a building-to-building sweep, securing or destroying the city one building at a time.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs ran quickly up the stairs of the Imperial Palace, bearing a telegram from the Military Command headqurters. He brushed past the Imperial Guard soldiers and hurriedly made his way into the Emperors' office, interrupted a meeting between him and several civilian advisors.

The Emperor looked up with a feigned sigh, and dismissed the other ministers, then turned his attention to his foreign minister.

"Yes, what is it?"

"My leige, a telegram from Army Command, Barbel is now ours, over 450,000 Republican Soldiers were forced to surrender there, though by all accounts the Federal Navy evacuated all Federal Army and Padmasan forces and some 120,000 Republican soldiers to Anson, but those soldiers had to leave most of their equipment behind, so they are effectively out of the war for a long time."

The Emperors face brightened up at the news, finally he was closing in on the despicable Republicans, but that was not all.

"And furthermore sir, our allies are closing in on Acheron, soon you will be in your rightful throne in the true Imperial Palace in Acheron. The only major resistance is from Federal, Padmasan, and Republic forces in Yarm, and considering the defenses and forces there, it would be unwise to assault it, instead I believe we can simply hand the city over to the Federals in exchange for them to cease hostilities, we can deal with Anson and Yarm at a later date, when we are ready."

The Emperor began to walk through the halls with the Minister in trail.

"Yes.... a worthy war this has been, many dead, mostly on the other side I am sure. Of course, our allies will be wanting some kind of compensation, but what have we to give.... but.... perhaps, what if we were to make this conflict that has gone on here simply a small skrimish of what will become a greater war... Get me Field Marshal Hammerling, I need to speak with him".

With that the foreign minister scurried away, and the Emperor proceeded to his war room, and waited several hours before finally Marshal Hammerling entered the room, in his usual grand way in full dress.

"My Emperor, you summoned me?"

"Indeed Field Marshal, but not to be worried, you share not the fate of Marshal Ricklaz, instead, I had a plan in mind, we cannot afford to pay our allies, or give them land for helping us, but I believe there is a way to get them to not demand anything from us. Tell me, the "Redhawk" Brigade of the Imperial Guard, where are they?"

"Why sir..." The Marshal searched his mind for a moment "I believe they are setting up to sabatoge Republican and Federal ships in Yarm harbor, yes, yes that's where they are"

"Perfect! Tell them it is unneeded, the Republicans and Federals are not of concern any longer, I want them to prepare to destroy the Hospital ships sent by every nation aiding us, but not the Stonies or Federal Hospital ships, also to sabatoge several Tellirian ships when this occurs, and make careful not to damage any Isochronous ships, also leave a dingy near the destroyed ships, deflated, with Isochronous markings on it. If we can convince Telleria that Isochronous attacked his civilian and military ships to ensure that Isochronous could take all the glory, we can provoke a war between them, in which they will destroy each other, they are the biggest forces aiding us after all. And we will sit back, and aid whichever nation appears to be winning near the end, then we will demand things from them, and become the dominant Monarchy in a new Alliance! Yes! Quickly now Marshal, go now!"

President Eden sat at his desk, his hands massaging his temples as he listened to the distant sounds of artillery fire. How could it have come to this, a few months ago the Republic was stable, the Emperor sitting in exile in the Federal Republic of the Sword and Sheild, and now, Imperial forces and their allies were at the gates of Acheron.

The Republic from the beginning had stood in a defensive posture, after all, the Sword and Sheild and Padmasa would send the bulk of their forces and a swift counterattack would take out the threat. But the Federals were absorbed in World War IX, none but a token of their forces could aid them, and Padmasa had been unwilling to send more then the Republic could pay him for. And so the Republicans were slowly driven back, making valiant stands alongisde their allies, most notably the Federals and The Volga, but still being forced back. It was a disaster.

He had ordered the military command to evacuate to Anson, along with most Government officials, there at least they would be safe, the Monarchists would not dare attack Anson, it wasn't a Canadian island, it was Federal land. He couldn't go by way of car, the bridges to Anson were swarming with refugees fleeing the encroaching Monarchists, and deserters from the Republican Armies, not wanting to live under the Monarchy again. And the air was out of the question, the Republican, Volga, and Federal Air Forces had done a courageous job and kept Monarchist planes out of the skies around Yarm and Acheron, but it was still unsafe as most of those planes were fleeing to Anson.

So it was to Yarm he went, to go by way of a Federal Battleship to Anson, to serve the rest of his "term" as a lonely refugee in a foreign land. If only they had taken the initiative and attacked the Monarchists in the very beginning, but now the darkness has smothered the final beam of light in Canadian Princes, there was no stopping them, the Federal and Padmasan armies were in Yarm, re-equipping and ensuring that city stayed in safe hands, and weren't about to move. The Volgans had sent reinforcements, but he had sent a message to them to divert or evacuate all of their forces to Yarm, all that was defending the capitol were tired Republican soldiers and volunteers, and soon they would break, under orders to not make a last stand in the city, but instead try to make it to Yarm.

The rest of what was the Republican Army was covering the roads leading to the bridges to Anson, to keep them open for as long as possible fore refugees, but soon they would have to surrender or escape to Anson. The Federals would blow the bridges soon as well, would not leave them open.

Then the room shuttered as an Artillery shell hit dangerously close to the Presidential Mansion, he stood up, grabbed his most personal belongings, and escorted by two Republican Officers, made his way to the helipad, on his final journey in Canadian lands.

20,000 South Prussian troops land on the shores that are assured to be Monarchy held by the Canadian Princes High Command. Determend not to make the idiotic mistakes of poor Colonel Zreicof, General Wilhelm IV, the Kaiser's first-born son, helps with the unloading of the troops. All-in-all there are 20,000 infantry (2,000 Death Korps of Krieg, 18,000 Grenediers), 14 18 pounder Howitzers, with an accurate range of up to 10 miles, and 20 of the new-purchessed Drednoughts, which saild to meet up with the Monarchy Fleet. Once all this was done the whole army marched to Barble (or whatever the blamed city's called) this time on the Monarchy side of the lines.

The Tellirian civilain/medical ships go up with a blaze, although few troops were on board, many volunteers lost their lives.

Surprisingly no answer was recieved from Telliria. The general then made a private report to all Monarchist nations:

I have horrible news. Telliria has engaged in civil war! The fourth prince, Daniel Winfield, rejected the will of the people of Telliria and is battling the newly crowned Emperor Vahn Winfield. We side with the loyalists, and will continue to fight in this conflict under my leadership. We will not be able to make any political desicions however.

Tellirian troops march into the capital city. They begin a multiple assualt by comming up the river on rafts and a frontal assualt. 55,000 troops participate in this assualt.

Major-General Halleck, who was leading the troops in Canadian Princes, has been killed. Nearly all the Volgan forces involved in the battle around Barbel are dead, wounded or captured, with only 20,000 troops continuing the house to house fighting, and little to support available to them.

Field Marshal Guttenburg, the commander-in-chief of the Volgan Military, does not appreciate failure. To punish the Monarchists and their supporters for defeating the Republicans, he orders 2 fully equipped Volgan Armies to prepare to counter-attack into Barbel. Each Army has 20 Infantry Corps, 4 Armoured Corps and 3 Airborne Cavalry Corps. This means more than two million soldiers will be embarking for Barbel. With them will go 7 Aircraft Carriers, 3,500 Su-47's, 750 Ground Attack Aircraft, and 2,000 Bombers. To carry this immense force, every military transport and merchant vessel in the nation has been commandeered. 5,000 Vessels will be accompanying this force. With them will go 900 Escort Ships, half the Volgan Navy. This force will be thrown at the Monarchists, who cannot possibly match its strenght.

Isochronous reinforcements promised earlier belatedly arrive now on Kanimbla landing craft on the beach just outside Barbel. A few also parachute into the city. The total amount of reinforcements is 20,000, which takes the number of troops to 150,000. 35 Leopard II tanks are also being flown in on C-130 Hercules aircraft.

The Tokarian naval forces keep a steady flow of supplies entering Barbel. Reinforcements move into the city, boosting the forces there to

As you can see, the Tokarian forces is an armored force. Most of the regulars will be deployed in armored transports which will provide rapid-response to areas of the city where fighting if feirce. They will be escorted by the heavier tanks. Any regulars not deployed in armored transports will be sent to the front lines with the towed Howitzers to provide front-line support. The Self-Propelled Howitzers will set up artillery positions in the center of the city, and can move to cover different ranges of fire.

Isochronous forces thank the Tokarevans for coming, and exchange battle strategies.

IC: The buckaroan troops in the city were suddenly engulfed, those who could retreated, through officers still in touch with the HQ set about defending against any enemy attack. They managed to get around 20,000 troops, 50,000 tried to escape, only 40,000 did, a total 15,000 troops were counted as dead, or lost, it was thought that there may well be many more troops that were supplying them being taken prisoner, an estimated 5000.
The new reinforcements couldn’t have come at a better time. To the north enemy troops were trying to break through, all the tanks were in the south around Barbel, only 1000 could be retrieved to make their way to the new threat. Barbel was looking as if all was lost, but there were still other cities to defend. New airbases were being set up in and around these, mainly behind them so as to have some protection. New SAMs emplacements were being hurriedly set up, and the cities being fortified. The new front was to be the hoped breakthrough for the Republicans.

Out at sea Admiral Johnson was happy to see the new fleet. He now had the aircraft, and missiles to begin the real battle out at sea.
The fleet had lost some ships due to the enemy mines, 1 destroyer was sunk and a helicopter carrier lightly damaged. Several other ships had casualties, mainly from shrapnel from the destroyer.

OOC: Exactly my thoughts. You have to remember that we're fighting on ISLANDS. It'd be pretty damn hard to fit 2 million onto one, and even if it was done, all the enemy soldiers would be easy pickings for artillery fire and aerial bombardment. Drop a bomb anywhere near the enemy garrison and you'd have a guarantee of hundreds of the enemy instantly dead.

In my earlier post i clearly stated that i would attack and destroy any enmy ships aproching the area and aircraft! you should have no navy left!

Oh well...the buckaroan fleet was but too aware of the new dangers facing them, due to this an extra 10 mine clearance ships were to be sent. they would be protected by 14 submarines(4 that can lay mines) and 10 AA destroyers(agis isnt it?)

On land the new arrange ments were coming on finely. the SAms were in place, and many mobile artylery pieces were coming to new possitions to destroy any aproching enemy, using the land to their advantage, while being protected by sqads of tanks and troops who were digging in. A new type of equoipment had arrived in possition, these were MSSM-6s, or mobile missile launchers(surface to surface). These were equipped with 150km range missiles, with large warheads for use against larger enemy targets. MSSM-2s were also in use, these with shorter range anti armour missiles, the range of these missiles was all that was needed for anti tank warfare, and many of these missiles could be carried(50 on each platform, or vehicle).

The admiral of the fleet decided that something must be done about the enemy fleets:

Two arsenal ships turned on the command, anhd clered the launch decks.
The captains surrendered the control to the Admiral. a few seconds later the launch doors opened, and the countdown began, the lights flashed as there were the massive explosions as th 100 stealth and 100 normal anti ship missiles were fired out into the sky.

If it is nere Barbel, a while ago I stated that I have a LARGE fleet in that area constantly pounding enemy positions. OOC: Since CP mentioned mass evacuations of the capital, I'm assuming that if there were any republican troops in the town I attacked (way way back there, the one with 100,000 men), they retreated to aid the capital or where simply overwhelmed.

With victory now in (forgot name), The Tellirian general immediatly began the movement of troops and ships to the capital. The whole fleet except 2 battleships, 1 Agies Cruiser, and all Tiger Subs move in range to bomb the passages out of the capital. Tellirian Hornets move in and radio for all planes to ground themselves immediatly or face destruction. With the twon effectively cut off from the outside world, and 70,000 additional reinforcements on the way, it appears that the capital will fall soon. Tellirian soldiers are pressing hard to meet up the middle. The town has already been mostly surronded.

With Isochronous troops already taking the east side of Barbel, and Monarchist allies pushing in on all four sides, High Command authorises a daring plan to take the key southern area. 4,500 men in helicopter gunships will attack enemies in the area, then get on the ground and fan out.

The remaining 12,000 Volgan troops in Barbel are not fools. Seeing the gunships arrive, they blast many out of the air with stinger missiles. A great many of the enemy troops die, while the rest are forced to pull back. Despite this, a further thousand Volgan troops die. They are on the verge of surrendering.

The Volgan relief forces are nearly at their destination, and so the escorts arm their missiles, and fire a huge barrage (there are hundreds of ships) of them at the Monarchist fleets. Fifty kilometres further back, guarded by scores of destroyers are the various transport ships which almost cover the ocean, there are so many.

Several helicopters are downed, however, most of them were Sea Hawks which are being progressively phased out and replaced by Sea Sprites anyway.

The Isochron troops see the Tokarevan forces coming in greater numbers, and the hide in buildings, on rooftops and in parks. They wait for their opportunity to strike at the enemy far behind the front lines.

The Tokarev armored division pounds the Volgan flank, attempting to turn it back towards allied support. The other flank is harried by gunships and heavy artillery fire from 155mm Howitzers.

10 Apaches swoop in on what little left was remaining of the Volgan tank divisions. They came up from behind, fired off their missiles, turned around and flew off as they heard loud, consecutive bangs.

The Tokar forces stage a fighting withdrawal to get between the Volgan force and their destination. Suddenly, the naval forces begin to fire at the massed infantry and tank divisions, and hundreds of gunships launched from VTOL carriers begin strafing them.

B-2 bombers and F-22 Raptors bomb the shit out of the former hospital and kill a heap of Volgan troops in the process. Meanwhile, Colonel Richard Alston, the man leading Isochronous troops in Barbel, begins to hatch a plan to wipe out the remaning Volgans in the city.

Its quite far away in the next city i think, ill have to read the geog again later.

Once the 15,000 South Prussian reach Barbel, they start picking through the ruins looking for republican supporters to kill/capture.

The commander in chief decided that this "fight" had turned into a bad stale mate, something had to be done to break it.
That morning, just before dawn the already prepared planes were rolled onto the tarmac, they were armed with an assortment of weapons, some for ground atk, some for Air combat. The pilots were driven to their planes, they had not expected to have a sortie so early, they had eaten during the Briefing, and were rushed of into their anti G suits straight after.

As the very first rays of light began to shine through the engines whined as they were turned on, taxing into the main runway. The 300 fighters and 150 Heavy bombers had been told that their mission was to be a get in and out raid, for reasons unexplained, Rumors had it that there was to be a Amphibious assult involving 700,000 or so men, this was not right but quite close.

Meanwhile a small Flotilla of craft carrying 2 Brigades of crack Special Marine Commandos (SMC) including a small HQ group were heading to shore in the stealth boats, Only the higher ranking officers knew exactly what was happening, the troops were to be told on the short journey to the coastline around the back of the enemy.

An assortment of 250 Cruise missiles were launched, timed to land before the commandos were seen in their boats, 150 were launched at the back of the enemy lines, 50 in the area where the troops were due to land. 100 Fighters of carriers were launched to add to the Air defence capabilites of the Bombing raid.
The missiles launched were mainly aimed at airfields, althrough 50 were aimed at Know sites were there were lots of enemy troops, or their HQs.

Marching from their victory in Barbel, and meeting up with the rest of the army already further up the cost from the Republic assault, and are now marching to find this new threat.

All batteries of artillery immitiatly start bombarding the point of incursion.

As for why all of the South Prussion troops were un-damaged, they were all ready on the move to link up with the other quarter of their force, and thus were unable to be pin pointed.

An Isochron ANZAC Class Frigate notices the Buckaro ship heading for the island.

The ANZAC Frigate continues firing at the small landing craft, and calls for assistance from the larger Isochron Fleet nearby.

3 Adelaide Class MTDs, 1 Aegis Destroyer and 5 Collins Class submarines scramble for the area.

The South Prussian artillery began pounding the crap out of the area that the boats were supposed to be, one they/it was/were discovered.

The Tokarev sends a withering bombardment against the last Volgan stronghold, demolishing much of the hospital and using snipers to keep a constant vigil on troop movements inside. An ultimatum is given to the enemy, telling them they can move freely and unharassed back to their home country if they disarm now and submit to a Tokarev military escort.




Meanwhile, the Howitzer batteries are devastated and left in shambles by the Buckaran counter attack. The Tokarev fleet, on the other side of the island, starts moving around at full speed to intercept the Buckaran forces before they can escape. Meanwhile, Apache and EA-26 Gunships are launched from the carriers to aid the South Prussian Artillery.

In the interest of your rebellion, I offer you the mercenaries of Spectres. These men will help in your uprising, provided you equip them with weaponry suitable for them. They don't run cheap, but if you need revolution then look no further than Spectres. Telegram me if you're interested, and we can work something out.

We will be prepared to share the cost with Tokarev, if they agree.

The bangles were super close and fired their torpedoes of in around five minutes, the boats speed meant that in 10minutes the troops had landed and were dispersing themselves.

The marines fought bravely but the overwhelming numbers were unespected, fortunatly this attack had made sure that the enemy pulled back many troops. Only 100 marines manedged to escape, they were to do hit and run attacks on enmy convoys, this should mean that the enemy would send back more of its troops and so leave the main front vunrable.

Sudenly, the command was given, the artylery started up a massive bombardment of enemy possitions as 200,000 troops ran fowards through the gloom of the smoke and mist that had grown as mhad the sun, this early morning was hoped to be the break through that was needed to stop the stale mate. they were maily carried in APCs, or at least so was 130,000 of them, they had the support of 6000MBTs and 2000 were heading north to take out the enemy flank along with 50,000 of the mobalised troops in APCs.

All remaining South Prussian troops (16,834) and all 12 Batteries of artillery direct their attention to the Bukaroinian assault. Although the infantrie were to far away to do anything immidiatly, the massive 14 pounder artilery opened fire at the Bukaro artillery positions, silenceing them, if only for a while.


Just then the massive South Prussian 2nd army arrived in the sea area around the capital island, met by all 19 able Drednoughts, and already escourted by 15 cruisers. The South Prussian 2nd army consists of

100,000 of the troops stay to defend Barbel, with 100,000 pushing on to Acheron, the capital of the island. With Isochronous troops attacking Folcanus as well, complete control of the island by the Monarch will soon be complete.

The buckaroan troops made contact with the enemy troops quickly and went on to heavy fighting out in the countryside while the artylery rapidly changed their sites onto the enemys artylery
