As there are recent arguments between nations over slavery, I have come up with an idea. In the Sancto Conference Hall on a remote island in Sancto Minor, we will be taking a poll and asking people to post their oppinions and support their views. If the slavery arguements are not settled peace fully in the Sancto Conference Hall, then we are all doomed and there will probably be a war between slavers and anti-slavery nations. Let us pray for peace.

I'm all for it as long as it has nothing to do with race. Oh and no slaves under 10 :o

To support our large economy we must endorse slavery. The poor are always complaining there isn't a place for them in our society. Well all those who aren't a major stockholder in one of our enterprises shall be made a slave. Also, the children are being confiscated and put into work in our factories. Only their fingers are small enough to efficiently clean the machines while they are still fully functioning, thereby not slowing our efficiency. On another note, we are seeking fully able children to replace ours in the factories, as most of ours are already fully fingerless. In exchange we offer up our highly sought after wood chips in trade. All interested parties send me a message and we will work out the details.

For the record Yurka uses slaves. But we picked Maybe So 8)

I know this sounds stupid but I endorse people who voluntarily wish to become slaves, which if you have look around some of the threads going around here there are. If not wanted to be slave then not really endorses.

Slavery is wrong, in my opinion because slaves have no rights and I see that if I was a slave depending on how bad it is I might not want to live.

I support slavery but i treat them well except for criminals and P.O.W's
normal slaves get to stay in big hotel like buildings and can swim and eat when not working they just don't get paid.

We belive that a country should be able to treat its people as they see fit. we use crimanels and pows as slaves as we belive it is a way for the crimanel to repay his dept to society.

I find it funny how people want convicted criminals who have been made into slaves for serious crimes, MIGRATING into they're own countries.

slavery... well, in our current position we must agree that slavery is wrong, however we must point out that workers although paid may in some cases be in circumstances not unlike slavery... although obviously we wish to improve their quality of life... perhaps we should first ask what is slavery... is it a fixed state, where having no rights and unpaid living, or is it in fact just the poorer stations in lifes prospective of the world... that however much freedom men are given that there will be some who eithor through choice or otherwise live an existance eithor akin to or with many parts of slavery included... does this include only the steriotype or also 'cheap labour' ect?

We believe that slavery is wrong. However, we also believe that other nations whom wish to attack slave nations simply because of their beliefs is wrong. What right do you have to interfere in the internal affairs of another nation?

If this type of slavery is not cause for war, or at least Black ops to free the slaves, I don't know what is.

How is that different from black ops to attack a nation? What right do you have to attack another nation? Besides, think where the slaves would be without the factories? Slave nations just have a different form of welfare! :)

Slavery is the most efficent form of labor. They don't complain about wages, work hours, and most important of all, they don't strike. These strikes look like a common problem with you Tau'ri, with slavery you have increased efficiency and that means a higher yield of whatever they are producing.

We have slaves from all the human "races." They work without complaint, for they know there is a paradise waiting for them in the afterlife.

Slavery may be illegal in Nanakaland, but we wouldn't invade a nation for having slaves.
