If you wish to keep your nation intact, it woul dbe in your best interest not to pull a stunt as you did, other more bigger nations that are bullies wouldnt hesitate to attack you in a heartbeat. OOC: I like to say that all nuclear strikes upon my nation are thwarted by my missile defense system, effectively ignoring them, but I make sure anyone I'm at war with gets the same privilages against my missiles (except special occasions, as you'll see shortly...). I've noticed that people like something more than just "nuclear attack ignored." Maybe that's just me. Oh well, back to the matter at hand.

Comdidian Forces are currently patrolling along the borders of the new colony making sure no one tries to escape the new owner.

The Special forces have set up small groups to search for anyone who would put up resistance and watch a small makeshift naval landing zone.

Chellis is happy that Rotovia does not try and take this by force, for the welfare of its citizens anyways. Chellis would like to note that while you say you aren't going to attack, if you were, a multitude of nations would defend me, as you would be aggresing against my troops in a foreign nation. Also, a military invasion is much more standing then a simple statement, as a military force is something material. Had you sent people to the island before our troops had arrived, we would have recognized your force there. However, none of this matters, as you will be continuing(not breaking) not having diplomatic ties with us.

Is there anything that Chokesia can do to help the situation?

Chellian troops have begun setting up fortifications in prime spots, and NBC teams have begun going over the land, attempting to place livable areas. The 12th support has begun flying into TGB, which is soon to be renamed, and setting up in a mountain area(perfect for it has a very large lake, for fresh water).

The support units have set up certain radiation free areas, and land is being offered cheap. Many people are migrating there for the cheap land rights.

What happened to the friggen' crater that was made there?

Those are the bad areas. We have been mostly in mountain areas, although chellian "NBC research is excellent, and we predict, through wide-scale operations, the radiation will be down to an acceptable living level in say 5 years, with proper funding, then another year to make the crater areas suitable for construction.
