Bartondom is currently reasearching a vibro core. This would be installed in kinetic weapons such as a knife or a sword. It vibrates the blade so fast that it would be able to cut through titanium like butter. We are not asking for help but it would be a plus.

a) would shatter most materials
b) is easier, and quicker to use laser cuters

I agree. What would make these vibro-weapons better than laser weapons, which already exist without the expensive and time consuming research? If there was some benefit, Marice might take interest, but as yet we see none.
