New Testing/Training Facility in Kenistan
Kenistan
07-11-2003, 19:08
The Kenistani Department of Defence is pleased to announce the opening of the Fort Red Ridge Facility. The facility has been built on the arid Nusian plains, an area of Kenistan of over 10,000sq miles which has been devasted by over farming and now deserted by all of its population. The command center itself is located on the Nusian highlands, a series of once lush, green valley's, now arid and unforgiving, giving the facility both its name and a commanding view of the surrounding plains.
The Red Ridge facility is broken into 3 sub commands, Camp Alpha, Camp Charlie and Camp Echo.
Camp Alpha is based on the plains and is the testing facility where all of your new ground based weapons/vehicles and troops/scientists will be housed.
Cost: $100,000 per month per weapon system to be used
Camp Charlie is an Airbase also located on the plains, where all of your aircraft and pilots/scientists will be housed for the testing of all airborne weaponry.
Cost: $250,000 per month per weapon system to be used
Camp Echo is an airbase based just outside of the valley's and is primarily concerned with the training of 'green' pilots in the art of low level flying.
Cost: $30,000 per month per pilot (Kenistani Air Force will supply the trainers and aircraft).
Note: Use of this facility is free to members of Grand Alliance and Credonia
We wish to send 6 Regiments of Texarnican National Marines(about 60,000 troops) to Camp Alpha. We will also send 20 squadrons(each squadron has 16 fighters in it) to Camp Echo. They will consist of: 4 squadrons of ASF-17 fighters(F-4 Phantoms), 4 squadrons of ASF-22 fighters(F-22s), ASF-27 fighters(Su-27), 4 squadrons of GAF/NGAF-10 ground attack fighters (A-10s), and 4 squadrons of GAF/NGAF-12 ground attack fighters (Su-25s).
Payment will be shipped monthly.

The BAF has successfully conducted a test of our new Storm Shadow stand-off missile system from a Tornado GR4. Below is a diagram explaining the basics of the Storm Shadow system:
http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39012000/gif/_39012427_storm_shadow_factfile416.gif
The weapon was fired at a range of 150 miles, flew to the target and destroyed the target building with pin-point accuracy. Further tests will be conducted to test the weapons suitability with different aircraft, including the F-35 JSF, the Typhoon F.1, the Harrier GR9, the F-15E Strike Eagle and the F/A-22 Raptor. Images from the test are below:

Kenistan is most interested in your Storm Shadow technology, perhaps we should pool our cruise missile technology and construct our own cruise missile?

The Bobghan Navy has recently completed their upgrade of the BGM-109 Tomahawk Cruise Missile, and testing has begun. We have completed one live launch from an Astute Class SSN and the results are very promising.

The Tomahawk missile is launched from the BS Astute
The missile then flew along a pre-designated flight path over Kenistan, monitored by F-16 chase planes from the Bobghan Air Force, and hit its target on the range near Camp Charlie.

Well, that just depends on what standard of troops that you want. If you want them merely competent, that can be done in about a month. If you would like to have skilled, well disciplined troops trained into a crack fighting force could take 4 or 5 months. Your weapons and equipment is new, so you may have a few teething troubles but at least you wouldn't have to worry about the men.
Special forces training is a different kettle of fish altogether. In order to remain at the peak of their physical fitness and capability, SF troops train every day of their lives. We would be willing to train your special forces with various techniques, (Close Quarter Combat, Long Range Recon Patrol etc), but it would then be up to you to maintain the units capability in the long run. If you agree to these terms begin sending your units whenever is suitable and we will begin training immediately.
