Well The kingdom of Crookfur will enter our current HMG (since you mention it replacing M2, which can hardly be considered a GPMG) the S8A4
Quick summary: much lighter than the M2 (based on the CIS .50), it has a shorter overall rnage but offers better performance within that range with better penetration and accuracy.
CFAR S8A4 Heavy machinegun
Round: 9x90mm
Weight: 38kg on tripod
Magazine capacity: belt fed.
Length: 1640mm
Rate of fire: 400-600 rounds per minute
Max effective range: 1200m (point) 2500m (area)
The S8A4 is a fairly modern heavy machine gun designed to utilise a lower quality version of the 9x90mm match round. The standard 9x90mm Ball round offers exceptional performance, with penetration factors beating even the legendary 12.7x99mm BMG round. The S8 in its many guises has operated as a standard infantry and vehicle heavy machinegun for Crookfur forces for some time with much use being made of its duel ammo feed system and quick change barrel mechanism. The S8A4 has seen service all over the world with Crookfur forces in conditions ranging from sand storms through to white out blizzards in the mountain regions of Crookfur and yet has a failure rate that sets it as a shining example of reliability. The S8A4 offers a number of different mounting points for any conceivable type of required sighting system.

(just holder pics teill i get a decent one put together).
I do have a much lighter one based on the XM-312 and my own spin on the OCSW (heavier but uses a more powerful cartriage) if you are interested.
