New military Aircraft (input welcome and needed)

07-11-2003, 06:18
The time has come for Kravoli to build a new aircraft for world wide sale. Our first aircraft has sold well but only 1 country showed much interest and a new variant was created to fill an order for them, but other than that sales were small.

This time we are going to ask for nations to post what they want as a second design for Kravoli to create. So please tell us what we want and the kind of aircraft that is most needed will be made as a 2nd design.

The 1st design can be reviewed and bought HERE (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2017945)

If you don't tell me what you want, chances are you won't get what you want.

OOC: Just in case people flip out and wonder how Kravoli can do this, let's just say that they have the full backing of this nation for starters.

IC:

We have been most pleased with Kravoli's aircraft and are currently evaluating out needs. Perhaps though, some kind of VTOL Bumblebee could be done?

OOC: I don't know if there are even such things as VTOL cargo planes. I guess they are called "helicopters".

Vrak: A kind of Vtol cargo plane did exist in the 50s and earlier 60s it was called the fairey rotodyne, it was bigger faster and cheaper to run with a higher cargo load than the chinook but then the Uk government buggered Fairey and forced to merge with westland... (incidentially the US marines wanted a similar aircraft but they got buggered by budget restrictions too).

Kravoli: i'm not entirely sure what i would want to purchase what sort of areas were you thinking of working of working towards?

I have added a pole to make the selection easier

A fighter would be a good choice. Being under Mach2 it needs to have a good set of features to be competative on the world market.

OOC:
Being under Mach 2, I'd say it has to have thrust vectoring and forward swept wings for hypermanueverability.

Advanced trainer, there aren't that many around. Less competition.

Although we do sell Yak-130 trainers.

I'm thinking of a high performence fighter that can sweep in and out of the Earth's atmosphere without breaking up and still manage to out-manuver enemy airplanes.

You could call this plane a space-jet. It could go up into space when the numbers are against, and then swoop on them.

OOC: This is modern-tech.

Well a space jet could be on the horizion, it isn't too futuristic....

I perosnally voted for an advanced trainer, currently i can think of no more than 5 or 6 availble on NS and they are the most vital investment you can make in an airforce.

Make something based on a real-life aircraft. I've done the F-16XL and such.
