War declared on all Pirates!
Too many of our fishing vessels have been raided by pirates. Well it ends here. Port Neptune declares war on all Pirate Nations and on all nations who support or harbor pirates and calls for other nations to join them in a coallition against pirates.

We preffer not to actually decalre war on pirates as it tends to make them feel legimate and proud of themselves instead we treat them like the criminals they are.
Anway if you require we can lend you the services of a squadron of 6 Eva class off shore patrol vessels, each will be operating 2 Sea lynx helicopters

I will not use your units as main attack vessels. They will instead be used as escorts for my fishing fleet or recon allowing my fleets to attack pirate targets. Any losses you incur will be compensated for by our government.
A Sea lynx helicopter on pirate recon patrol spots 3 pirate speed boats just over 50 nautical miles off Port Neptune shores. They quickly send a message back to Central Command which relays the message to every vessel underway in the fishing fleet. Another message is sent to the Commador in charge of the 1st Expeditionary Fleet aboard the Argo. He orders his air crew to load the SH-60 with anti-ship missles and get it air-borne. Within 12 minutes it takes off and heads for its target. After approximately 20 minutes of travel it spots its target. It fires the first anti-ship missle at the largest of the three boats blowing it to pieces. It then fires a second missle at one of the smaller vessels. The boat however proved too small for the missle to get a good enough lock on. The helicopter swung around to allow the machine gunner in the back to fire. Completely unprepared for airborne threats the other 2 boats fled under a hail of machine gun fire only to be met by the Sea Lynx which initially spotted them. The Sea Lynx then proceeded to finish them off.
The Yarrrrrrrr Matey's Piratoctacy of Sexcrazedmaniacks is anything but pleased by this turn of events. The First Fleet shall most certainly have a field day wiping you out, and there shall be much yohoyohoing and yarrring to be done, and a bottle of rum I tells ya!

The Confederacy of Stone River applaudes the stance taken by Port Neptune against the pirates, who threaten the very basis of free trade. Therefore, myself and Congress have seen it fit to loan one of our E-3 Sentrys to this cause. The Sentry is equipped with the highly advanced AWACS Radar System, which will easily detect any object on the water. Stone River will retain possession of the Sentry, and it will be manned with one of our own crews. However, we will patrol the area in question, and alert the Port Neptune armed forces of any suspect vessels in the area. We will then leave it to Port Neptune to deal with the threat as it sees fit.

This Thread isnt about Strange Bearded men with even Stranger Names with Parots on their Shoulders,
Pirates still exist in the Modern world they just dont sail massive galleons etc.
They are People who get motorboats or what have you and hijack ships such as trading vessels etc.

I belive Port Neptunes RP revolves around a local and internal matter not an international aspect.
Anyway by thier very nature pirate nations don't really work.
Nations do engage in piracy on each other (more politly termed privateering) as they did in the past (those famous pirates of the carribean who sought out spanish galleons? british naval crew a lot of them (or former criminals carrying british letter of marque) and from the south of engalnd (hence why "aarrghhh me hearties" sounds a lot like "oohhhaaarrrr look at that there combine harvester")).
but a nation that is all pirates won't really work. it like those nations who claim "we are a bunch of namds we have no govenremnt structure to target" oh yeah? well who trains your troops, maintains your tanks and biulds the runways for your planes, you can forgoe all the advantages of a stabile govenrment and administration but then you are easy meat for even the smallest nation with a proper armed forces.

Due too a new overwhelming presence of Naval vessels and naval Aircraft in Port Neptune waters from various other nations who have graciously lent their services, piracy is no longer a problem. The Harbormaster of Port Neptune sends his thanks and a Brand new Presidential Yaught built at the shipyards of Port Neptune as a token of thanks too Crookfur, Euopia, Stone River, and -Atomic-.
