How fast is mach one
Mach one is the speed of sound, or approximately 800 miles an hour I believe.

It depends on altitude really.
At sea level it's about what Omz said, but at higher altitudes, it's about 1064 km/h, which is what you should use for most aircraft.

760 mph is at sea level. At about 30-40,000 feet it's 660 mph +/- a few.

Using my new ARROGANT METER i have decided that mac 1 is precisely the speed that i am moving at. Thank you.
is there an easy calculation program? like enter altitude and get speed of sound?

Its also affected by temperature, because the physics formula for the speed of sound is 331.5 + Temperature(.6) = speed of sound (in meters per second).
It is the speed of sound. However, the speed of sound varries depending on air temperature and, iirc, pressure, so there'd be some degree of varriance.
