Today the Big Long Now Space Agency launched it's new imagry satellite into orbit around Earth. The EST or Einstein Space Telescope can stretch into the vast depths of space, taking images that the most powerful Earth telescope cannot see. Today in a BLNSA press conference, director of the BLNSA and MCSF (Military and Commercial Space Freighters) Kurt Westen told the reporters, "We are very pleased at the success of this launch, and we are very excited to see the images taken once the connection has been set up between the satellite and mission control." The EST is expected to serve fifteen to twenty years in orbit around the Earth, possibly longer, but Kurt Westen told the press today that they expect to replace it in that time with a more powerful telescope.
