Hmm, future tech? Near Modern Tech? If so, we may just have what you are looking for at the Insidious One/facehuggerian storefront.

Edit: State your need, and I can tell you if we have something like it. Currently we have powered armor, gattling lasers, a full-body bulletproof suit, and we also have laser sniper rifles (not added onto store front yet.)

makarov pistols (original with minor modifications) - 150.

DD44 pistols (9mm or .44 mag - your choice). quite heavy and powerful. more reliable than desert eagles, but not quite as accurate. - 600

desert eagles (6-inch barrels, either .44mag, .50AE, or our 13mm). very powerful, especially the 13mm. all 3 cost 650 a piece.

we have limited numbers of AKM's available (we don't make them anymore, so they're limited). we'll take 200 a piece.

AK-97's (an extremely versatile and even more reliable and effective weapon) are being discontinued, but still available in large numbers - 350 a piece (which includes its 4 interchangeable barrels and belt-feed adapter)

AKM-99's (a slight improvement over the '97, mainly in accuracy) go for 400.

97's and 99's can easily function as medium machine guns. if you want more firepower, we sell:

MG42's (just like the originals, except 7.62mm, and a left-handed config) for 1500 a piece

browning-type MG50's (7.62mm, slow rate of fire and not as reliable) for 1000

highly recommended: P5 Sokolov MG's for 10000 (a 1.6-meter barrel, 13mm ammo, up to 1800 RPM, fairly reliable, very accurate, and extremely powerful. also pretty heavy and cumbersome), and

miniguns for 10k.

dragunovs with a 12x scope - 650

SV-3 sniper rifles. horrendously complex and hard to maintain, but surprisingly reliable, very accurate, and quite powerful. 7.62mm with a 12x scope. 900

SV-4. not as horrid to clean as the '3, and more powerful. 7.62 with a 12x. 1200.

elephant mk. VII. .50 special magnum caliber (a 20mm autocannon shell casing with a .50 bullet), single-shot bolt-action, a 2-meter barrel, a 12-30x scope, and a bipod. can remove a head at 2km without much effort. has a weak bolt carrier. 6000

highly recommended: elephant mk. VIII. much like the VII, but with a 13mm caliber, and eliminates the weakness of the VII (which caused the bolt to fly into the shooter's face every so often - not pretty). otherwise identical with slightly improved range. 6500.

elephant mk. IX. like the previous, except with a 2.4m barrel, a further strengthened bolt, and an elongated shell casing (still 13mm). 12-35x scope, a stronger bipod. a skilled shooter can knock out a beer can at 2500m+, a non-skilled one will need a chiropractor, and it can fire through an APC at 500m. 10000.

frag grenades for 40 bucks a pop.

one-shot disposable rocket launchers (AT) - 350 for a short-range RPG-18, 500 for a medium-range and more powerful PTG-6

our most powerful rocket launcher - PTG-7. medium-range, and will take out just about anything with standard or simple laminated armor. 2500.

the PTG-8 is not as powerful, but is more accurate and has longer range. it is also guided (optically or laser). 3400.

more powerful weapons also available. inquire if you like. all prices are in USD.

You just might find the following weapons interesting:

http://world.guns.ru/assault/fal_imbel.jpg

Viking Firearms/Fabrique National K1A1 FAL

The FN-FAL is probably the most widely-used rifle in history, adopted by over 90 countries. Many of these have demanded their own minor modifications; Many countries have manufactured under licence and, again, have incorporated their own modifications. Kotterdam is one such country.

After a great deal of consulting with Kotterdam's largest domestic manufacturer, Viking Firearms, Fabrique National has cooperated with the aforementioned company to come out with the K1A1, a new version of FN-FAL.

Among other things, this upgraded weapons includes all synthetic furniture with picatinny rails on top of the reciever and beneath the barrel for such attachments as optical sights or grenade launchers. As well, a three round burst trigger group has been added, as well as the recently introduced 30-round high capacity magazine. A heavy barrel is also used to improve accuracy, although thanks to the extensive use of synthetics and advanced materials, there is a net decrease in overall weight.

Viking Firearms K7A1 Assault Shotgun

A weapon similar in concept and operation to the USAS-12 assault shotgun, the K7A1 is designed to provide tremendous firepower in a close combat situation.

Operating from a unique dual-feed system using two ten-round removable box magazines. To switch from one magazine to another, the soldier using the weapon simply flips a switch. This allows the soldier to switch from one type of ammo to another in a flash.

Bullpup in format, the K7A1 maintains a decent barrel length while remaining small enough to be used in close quarters. It has found favour amongst Kotterdam's SWORD teams for its versitility and small size.

Viking Firearms K9A1 "Incinerator" Flamethrower

The decision to return the flamethrower to the DKA's armouries came from the highest levels of the Dominion's leadership. Flamethrowers offer a whole new range of tactical options for a military force that had otherwise been missing.

A unique design feature is the provision for a dual feed system, with the main bottle attached directly to the hand unit, and an available backpack tank which attaches to the rear of the weapon. This allows the K9A1 a degree of versatility unavailable to earlier such weapons.

Thanks to the use of high-strength, heat-resistant synthetic materials, the main unit weighs about as much when loaded as some shotguns, allowing it to be carried as a secondary weapon. With the backpack unit, it allows for more extensive use, but even without the larger tank, it is especially useful.

Although the primary fuel is listed as thickened or unthickened kerosene, just about any flammable fuel can be used in place of the kerosene. Units in use with the DKA actually use a self-oxidizing fuel, rendering the K9A1 far more lethal.

A final design feature is the use of kevlar and high-strength ceramics to protect the fuel tanks. Although not invincible, it allows the flamethrower to take a serious beating, and makes it rather unlikely for anything less than a 7.62 x 51mm NATO round to detonate it.

Walther/Viking Firearms P99/10

Manufactured under licence by Viking Firearms in Kotterdam, the Walther P99/10 is a distant relation of James Bond's weapon of choice. In response to a requirement by the DKA, the standard Walther P99 was increased in calibre from 9mm Parabellum to 10mm Automatic. Otherwise, the operation and mechanism of this fine weapon is unchanged. Rather, the other changes to the weapon are mostly cosmetic.

Like the standard model, the P99/10 is a recoil-operated, double action, locked breech gun, making use of a modified Browning-style locking system as well as incorporating a recoil compensator in the backstrap. Extremely reliable and accurate, the P99/10 makes use of a polymer frame to reduce weight, and an adjustable backstrap to allow it to become a more comfortable fit in the shooter's hand. As well, the weapon has three automatic safeties: A striker safety, a trigger safety, and an out of battery safety that sees to it that should the weapon's hammer accidentally fall, the firing pin will not be alligned with it, and thus the pistol will not fire.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Overall a very good choice for new nations with weak supply lines, or for old nations with confused ones.
((ooc: yes we can afford to produce them at that cost as they are very simple, and it is the standard armament for a region...))
