Quite a while ago, Benderland publicly announced its intentions to colonize another planet. It proceeded with Project Aboritus, a scout vessel designed to seek out a system that was suitable for Benderland's colonizational needs. Soon after, it found one, and Benderland began its colonization of the Solaris System. The following is the transcript from the exploration team:

Betus and Domus were deemed hospitable. Betus was the first to be colonized, followed by Domus (otherwise known as Benderopia). Economic trade and transportation between Earth and the colonies was done through Benderland to keep their location a secret. Since then, their population has grown emmensley, and both are now prosperous planets. They are now open for intergalactic trade.
(OOC: I created the thread that RPed all this a long time ago. Just my luck, it was deleted. But you have my word that this entire thing was RPed properly, although not a whole lot of people seemed to care.)
