Waterdeep has a new King :D
Dictator Shearer walks up to the podium and begins his speech.
"Hello everyone from bordering regions and from curious nations. This innaguration is for everyone to join in on. This is not only the innaguration of King John IIII, but also the funeral of King John III. He died two days ago from a shot from what is thought of as a spy from another region.(more on that later) He had had cancer for about two years but unfortunatly he was killed at the old age of 89. We thought he was going to die one year ago but he lived on. He will be missed dearly :cry: but this is also a day for celebration for our new leadership. Here is a painting of our dear old king"

*as the trumpets play the many people rise and the new king rides in on his chariet.
"Thank you. Thank You" says the king as he waves to the crowd.
King John walks up to the podium as Dictator shearer walks off and sits in his chair."A chance to become king is a once in a lifetime opprotunity. If he had only not been killed and had died a natural death." King John III pauses to regain his composure. "Sorry for that. I vow that from this moment on i will try to find the culprit for this crime and bring him justice."
A shot is fired from the crowd heading straight for the king. Luckily the King is behind bullet-broof glass. *the crowd gasps as the culprit begins to run. "Finally we have found the culprit but he will not reach the border before he is caught and killed for all to watch." *the crowd cheers and claps. Dictator Shearer walks up to the microphone "I am gravely sorry for that interuption but we will bring him to justice and cause him to pay the very way he has tried to kill our new king. We will not tolerate this. Once we find the culprit, we attack his nation and demolish his life." *Dictator Shearer walks away and sgnals for the ceremony to begin again.
"I am very happy for the chance to be king and I hope that you will all treat me as you have treated my fathers in the past." *pauses for the cheers. "I hope that I will bve able to change this region for the better and I hope that my leadership abilities will not be wasted. When I speak i speak to everyone and not only to the wealthy. I plan to speak and represent all the people in Waterdeep. I will reside in The Holy Empire of Cow Monkeys. This you know is where our UN Delegate is currently living. I hope that I can lead a long and healthy life just as my father did. I only wish that I do not die the same way my father did."
*The religous leader of waterdeep comes up to swear our new king in. Reveran Smith says "Repeat after me. I, King John IIII swear to help, protect and serve the region of waterdeep." King John repeats "I, King John IIII swear to help, protect and serve the region of Waterdeep." Reveran Smith "Let me help all the people in and around Waterdeep and God help me succeed." King John IIII "Let me help all the people in and around Waterdeep and God help me succeed."
*Cheers envelop the stadium and can be heard for miles around.
"Thank you Thank you." *A hush comes over the crowd. "Thank you for all of your support and for helping me to become the best king that I can. I enjoy your support and hope that i will have your support all through out my reign."
*The crowd cheers as King John IIII leaves the stage.
Dictator Shearer walks up and states "Today will now be known as King John IIII Day *cheers for the new king rage through the towns. "Thank you for everything" *sirens blare through the strrets and all heads turn. Police Officer Colby Smith yanks a masked man out of the car. *Everyone yells at the man as he walks in shame up to the king.
"Do you realize that you are one of the most hated men in our region over the past two days? Well, do you. *the masked man answers with a muffled yes. "Well let us see who you really are." The crowd chants, "Unveil. Unveil."
*The king reaches up and starts to pull off the mask put at the same time a shot fire and kills the masked man. The King (along with everyone else) stares into the sun. "We will meet again King John III. Next time, you will perish."
"It apears that we have a hired assain from some nation. Do Not worry citizens. We will find out who did this crime." *The crowd cheers as the new King steps into his chariet and rides away to his home. Everyone looks on clapping. Dictator Shearer "Attention. Your attention please. Thank You. There as been a shooting today and we have reason to suspect that someone from a nation that is represented here to day has done it. we got an unmarked telegram stating that there will be a shooting at today's ceremony. Luckily, no one additional was hurt or killed. We are lucky for that, but there is still one group of people at large attempting to deminish Waterdeep to a non-existant region. We will stand strong and this will not affect our unity!" *The crowd cheers and everyone else that was sitting up on stage files out and the ceremony comes to a close. As Dictator Shearer walks by the crowd he yells "We will not be affected by someone's poor attempts to hurt our strong region."
*this causes more cheers and finally everyone leaves the grounds.
The hired killer mumbles to himself "we will meet again."
