In response to the invasion of Gibraltar by the Trojan empire Bayorta has decided to build up a multi-national coalition to help drive his forces and his allies back from Gibraltar. From there Altaran and I will hand it over to the Spanish government

We now urge nations to join us to help prevent any more hostilities and allow The Trojan empire and his allies pull out and cancel their intentions of conquering Spain. Currently Altaran is in immediate threat of being attacked. We will now be referring to The Trojan empire and his allies as 'The Axis'(OOC: Mainly for fun :)) The Axis consist of The Trojan empire, Soviet Trasa and Elara. Help us free the people of Gibraltar!

P.R.B Entherd, 8 submarines and a small squadron of Frigates were in the area at the time and have now been deployed in the Gibraltar Straits and are on standby. More naval support is on the way from Bayorta and a large ground force is being assembeled while Special forces, marines and paratroopers are on standby. The Airforce is already on standby.

We may assist Bayorta, sending a detachment of marines and a Piotr Hotamel class assault ship with some escorts.

And Besides, Gibralter is English speaking, and it's part of the Iberian Penensula, a place which Trojans never inhabited. Technically, it could be claimed by the Spanish, Portugese, Morocco-ese (..?), or English. But never Troy..

I will side with my ally DT, and support the coalition against the Trojan Empire. I feel that this land is not rightfully his, although, we will not militarily get involved, unless it is needed. We will financially support everyone in the coalition for now.

At the request of our ally, Bayorta, The People's Republic of Galdania has heald several parliamentary meetings, and has stated that 22,000 Galdanian soldiers will be sent to make an assult on Gibralter as soon as possible.

Paratroopers will likely be dropped into Gibralter to assist the soldiers making the aquatic assault.

The 1st and 3rd Altaranian Fleets are already in the area, and are holding position. We can commence operations, or wait for assistance.

JOHNSTON CITY--Prepare to mobilize! Today, the 1st Carrier Fleet, 2nd Fleet, and 1st and 4th Armies were mobilized. In addition, the 3rd Air Armada has been readied. 'White' Missile Trucks are being shipped towards Gibraltar as we speak.

We will send aid to help end this unjust and imperialistic war. We pledge to liberate Gibraltar and immediately hand it back to the Spanish government.

So, are we to commence operations, or wait for back up? I can have our ships bombard their positions. Bombers and other aerial craft are being fuelled.
Also, be aware that a large Elaran space fleet is in orbit over Gibraltar. Troops have been deposited on the island/peninsula.
We may attempt to draw them away.....but it is likely that we will suffer heavy losses. If any other nation's space fleets could provide back-up, this would be most welcome.

I find it amusing that in order to defeat Troy you must form a huge-ass coalition. Shows your might.

3rd, 4th 6th and 10th Mechanised divisions (200 BMP-3s including crews and infantry squads)

Most of the ground forces are in Portugal(a neutral country that allows us military access) except Marines, Paratroopers and special forces who are still on standby. The ships are in and around the Gibraltar Straits.

More or less an OK map showing where to pillage. Unless he has a good deal of troops there, some marine detachments should run right through his defenses (believe me I have amphibious tanks that make abrams look like cannon fodder.... even if they do have armor only capable of protecting them from APC chainguns). Land troops right onto Gibraltar (see photo below), then land another force just north of it into spanish territory and swing down. Kaboom as numbers should overwhelm the defenders.

BTW Soviet Trasa has pulled out of the axis. We are very happy with their choice and hope that we may possibly restore full diplomatic relations with them in future.

Top officials from the Kremlin were quoted as saying that 1 Bisonic Fleet and 4 Piotr Hotamel class amphibious assault ships, as well as 5 Spasenya class hospital ships, would be contributed to the allied effort to force Trojan forces out of Gibraltar and return Gibraltar to British control. Currently Bayorta, Altaran, and Dark Terror (as well as some propaganda about 'Galdania', probably designed to scare the Trojans) oppose this unjustified expansion. Dark Terror stands ready to help Bayorta at their request with marine units and spetsnaz special operations forces.

In addition, President Oladsky moved Dark Terror from DEFCON3 to DEFCON2 as naval infantry held an amphibious excercise on several outlying islands, demonstrating the abilities of their Sprut-SDM tanks, BMP-3FM infantry fighting vehicles, and BTR-90 series APC"s.

Dark Terror has offered to stage a diplomatic summit of allied nations in the Red Square to discuss possibilities to reach a diplomatic solution and more to the point, coordinate the probable war effort as the Allies begin mobilizing. ACTUALLY, we have had units mobilized for a while, due to numerous activities that our military gets involved with, including one with Communist Likon that we just pulled out from, so its not godmodding, we just mobilized more troops ontop of the ones that were either mobilized already or coming back from action.

The Peoples Republis of Audremen hearby pledges support for this cause. An unspecified number of military force is being dispatched to your region. Additional units may be deployed as nessacary. Currently, naval, infintry, and airforce divisions have been moved to yellow alert.
