Well, you've got bump down.

I would suggest reading all the Announcements and Stickies. I could litterally post enough information to crash nationstates. After reading those, telegram me if you have any questions, though I will be out for most of the night. In the morning I will get to it.

I always took any calculator with a grain of salt, and cut the budget it gave me down by about 20%. The average NS year is one OOG day, so you get that amount of money that your caculator shows you every day to purchase things with. Best thing to do is keep a running tally of how much you've got, unforutnaly that take a lot of time. Anouther thing you could do is cut it in half, and have that your operating expences, then buy items till you hit opperating expences of half your budget, the other half going to pay salary. If its not listed, TG the person and ask them how much it costs to run the items. Hope this helps, I'd post a link to my storefront and offer you a discount to lure buisness in, but unforutnalty I've got ships that cost me about 50 times your GDP to build. . . so its a high end store for larger nations. Still, the stickies are your friend, especialy the store front thread and the "if you are new to nation states, check this out" ones in the Nation States forum. Glad to see someone asking for help for a first post, rahter than simply invading, you get the Takian Newbie seal of approval.

To some. Time is really quite a fluid thing on NS, you roleplay it mostly.

What does OOG mean? That's not in my guide... 8)

as for what it means:

pop - population of your country
civil rights - how many civil rights you have given your population
economy - what your economy is like
GDP per capita - average income (in $s)
GDP - how much your country has
national budget - how much your country has to spend that year (RL day)

OOC:
And remember, the military budget is different from the national budget. Try 5% for now as your economy is weak.
