Whereas, the recent wave of imperialistic activity worries many governments around the world, and
Whereas, many nations are either too new or too small to resist the attacks of larger powers effectively, and
Whereas, several smaller nations will have the combined power to research, build and arm themselves with weaponry that can defend them from imperialist countries, and
Whereas, nuclear technology is the most effective, most destructive, most threatening and most final weapon known in the modern world, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED a NUCLEAR DEFENSE COOPERATIVE be established
For the purpose of researching, engineering, producing and arming
member nations, using mutual effort and financing,
for the defense of all.
-Resolution recently passed by the Agua Puro legislature
The Democratic Republic of Agua Puro wishes to begin a Nuclear Defense Cooperative, as described above. If your nation is interested, please respond as soon as possible. If one of your 3 largest industries is Arms Manufacturing or Uranium Mining, we are especially interested.
Member nations should contribute either:
-Scientists
-Financial aid for the program (ALL members need to do at least this)
-Production facilities (if have a large Arms Manufacturing sector) or
-Land for testing, or
-Data on how expensive or time-intensive this will be
If your nation joins, you will receive all the information researched, and if the NDC produces some arms in addition to nations privately, a share in the weapons produced.
Finally, Agua Puro is aware of the disapproval of nuclear weapons by many in the international community. Know, however, that these are necessary for nations with small standing armies, to have any kind of leverage over much larger, imperialistic nations.
Remember the more member nations, the smaller share each needs to put in.
