After Pergatorio's announcement of heading out into space, it's corporations have pitched in to manufacture a fighter capable of dealing with the needs of Pergatorio's expected fleet. Presenting the CF/A-17 "Spectre".

Flight Capabilities -
The CF/A-17 can perform in atmospheric and deep space.

Armament -
The CF/A-17 "Spectre" superiority fighter is armed with a single belly-mounted 40 mm anti-vehicle/personnel burst laser set on a rotating pivot. The pivot rotates up to 45 degrees to left or right, up or down. Positioned on the tips of the wings are twin missile tubes that are loaded with ATA Gemini heat-seeking rockets.

Armor -
Protecting the CF/A-17 "Spectre" are 3 inches of reinforced xanium (titanium and steel reinforced with a compound of boron and xenon). The properties of xamium make the craft heat resistant for lower orbital flight near stars and suns. Inside the wings are crossed support struts of xanium allowing for the craft to withstand more punishment from most weapons. A small shield energy shield generator is installed beneath and behind the cockpit.

Electronics -
Inside the cockpit of the CF/A-17 are two auto-pilot computers, one for primary usage, and a secondary backup if a fighter is lost from the fleet and the primary is damaged. Towards the front of the craft is an EMP/signal jammer synchronized to the electromagnetic field of all CF/A-17 "Spectres" and other ships produced by Pergatorio, thus inhibiting the EMP from damaging or stalling any Pergatorian space electronics. These jammers are capable of releasing a 50 yard blast, that will debilitate guided missiles and nearby fighters. It takes several hours to charge the EMP/signal jammer, and is good for roughly 2 minutes.

Propulsion Systems/Reactors -
1 SPU "Apollo" sub-nuclear reactors
1 APU Warp drive unit

Crew -
1 pilot/gunner
1 copilot
1 gunner (turret)

Dimensions:
Height - 4 meters
Length - 10 meters
Width - 7 meters
