How does it lift off from the carrier, is it more space efficient? Does it require a ramp or can it be used with a catapault

TSS: It is STOVL, so it can use catapults or a ramp...or a combination of the two. It requires limited runway area and the wings can be folded to provide more efficent storage on a carrier.

Well the JPEG version has horrible resolution, and yes, I suppose it is a 4th gen.

Well against a Sea Harrier it is far superior, faster, and better suited for dogfighting. It was designed, when applied in the Air Dominance Role, to be superior to the F-35B and other carrier launched aircraft. It is hard to say how true this is, right now atleast.
