Hesse-Hanau greets all
As the duke of Hesse-Hanau, I greet all my fellow neighbors! If you have not heard in the American news systems, Hesse-Hanau is an island nation, formed from German immigrants fleeing the socialist encroachments on our basic liberties.
Our nation is not very strong, having been formed today, and with a very small population, but we expect, through recruitment and conscripting, a large army of 1,000 infantry. Weapons are needed, however. Can any other diplomats reccomend good quality small-arms to purchase?
Congratulations on gaining your new freedom, the nation of Great Boogie sells many high quality armaments. Though, knowing what it feels like to be oppressed, perhaps it would be more beneficial to adapt a more pacifistic military policy. Of course, in this world, having a defensive force is tragically necisarry, but it would be wonderful to see other nations adopting a policy of peace.
Well, seeing my neighbors, a military force will be necessary for defence. Maybe I should switch some troops to be a police force. Or use troops for peace-keeping. Pacifistic military policies would be a good idea, except for the fear of Germany retaliating our independence.

We at Kihameria are happy to see freedom prevail and the forming of a new nation,a island nation is good and conscripting a 1 thousand man army will probably be a good defense force, just buy some weapons and i think if you buy mortars and artillery pieces and use them well youre island will be well fortified.
