Two-hundred Priam and fifty Aegean dropships, carrying 8200 TRAU's, soared quietly and serenly through the midnight dark skies bound for the now Spanish-held territory of Gibraltar. The city was vital: the doorway to the Mediterranean Sea.

"This is Echo 419. Approaching the LZ. Brace for SAM impact!"

"This is Echo 822, I copy you loud and clear. All my Hellfires are ready to launch! Yeehaw! Do you think they're expecting this?"

"Hell no, son! We're closing in on Windhill Beach! Weapons are ready!"

"And we're nearing Great Europa Point! It's gonna be hot, hit it boys!"

Hundreds of Trojan Royal Army Units hopped to the GEP LZ as Hellfire ATGM's whizzed by their helmets. Spanish SAM defenses exploded in addition to any heavy artillery. M12 Warthogs rolled out, as well as Zeus I APC's. Machine gun fire crackled violently, creating mists of smoke.

"Mira! Mira!" cried a Spanish soldier as he emerged from his base camp carrying a M8A2 rifle. Minutes later, several dozen more Spaniards had taken up their arms and engaged.

A small arms battle ensued between the TRAU's and Spanish troops for ten minutes. Soon, the APC's and Warthog LRV's crashed through enemy lines spraying 12.7mm fire, picking off the Spanish. The battlefield hushed.

"Let's move in and penetrate that camp! Move! Move! Move!" shouted the CO.

"WB LZ, ETA six minutes, lock 'n load boys!"

The attack at Windhill Beach was even swifter and more stealthy. The TRAU's piled out and moved in. The Spanish was resistance was close to zero.

The last of the dropships landed at the Governor's Beach. The results were near fatal. Two Priams were gunned down, taking the lives of all 42 passengers and six crewmembers aboard the two ships combined.

A Spanish artillery company and a Spanish infantry company had been patrolling the area and immediately engaged the intruders. A voracious firefight followed, taking the lives of some one hundred Trojans.

It had begun.

The Argyri Military Intelligence Service (MIS) has informed me of your military action taken against the territory of Spain. I am most displeased with your warmongering and strongly suggest you withdraw your forces, which are engaged in an act which violates the sovereignty of Spain.

In short, I ask you to agree to withdraw your troops and negotiate with the Spanish. If you fail to comply with this request, actions will be taken to ensure your warmongering does not continue. I pray that it does not come to that.

"Move in!" Artillery shells smashed into Trojan military position as the TRAU's returned fire with high-explosive 81mm mortar fire.

Machine gun fire now blanketed the enemy. Even now, the TRAU's were advancing rapidly. They would need to act fast in order to seize Gibraltar before the Spanish government or international community had figured out what had happened. Forty minutes had passed.

Approximately 6 hours ago, our radar and spy satellites noted a large mass of air craft, that seemed to mirror the signatures of drop ships. However, we have no information as to where they were going or where they came from.

Explosions rocked the GEP front as TRAU's advanced forward through a dense rain of Spanish small arms fire.

"We need air support! This is Bravo Company to central command we need some goddamn air support, things are heating up!" cried the radioman before he sprayed three charging Spanish troops with his MA5B assault rifle.

"Roger that, Bravo Company. We've got some RS's on their way!" responded the officier.

Immediately, approximately 30 A-89B's took to the skies heading for their taeget zone, carrying some 28,000 pounds of ASM's, ATGM's, and free-falling bombs.

It was going to be hell.

I am not saying that I do not believe you, but my country is located to the west of yours, and is not anywhere near the proper trajectory for Soviet or South African territory. In addition, your actions, which were not cleared with my government could be construed as an invasion of our airspace. I do not wish to ruffle any feathers, but I find it hard to believe that miners heading to regions nowhere near my own country would need to fly in such secrecy.

The A-89B Rapid Strikes soared above the air as soldiers from both sides gazed up the magnificient air support craft. Bombs and anti-armor missiles plummeted to the ground, hurling hundreds of Spaniards into the cool night air.

The machine gun fire's crackling intensified greatly. Warthogs spearheaded enemy lines, showering them with 12.7mm bullets. Most never returned: Spanish M22A7 rocket launchers nailed them, morphing them from a speedy LRV to a flaming ball similar to a meteorite.

Now a small sqaudron of Spanish F-9 fighters had taken off and engaged Trojan air units.

Meanwhile, the rough landing at the Governor's Beach had been quelled and TRAU's slinked their way towards their objectives.

Fighting at Windhill Beach had completely ceased after an M19 SSM rocket launcher assault.

Gibraltar's end was near.

In orbit a lone Elarian Battleship watches the happenings in Gibralter and informs Emperor Roland Meridius of the situation.

Those nations who are assaulting the nation of Spain, are advised to withdraw at once. The Federal Republic of New York and New Jersey will not sit back as the straights of Gibraltir are threatened because of an unprovoked attacked. Federal Republic Troops will be deployed, should the offending shoulders not leave soverign Spanish territory.


President de los Santos was furious, a nation attacking the home of his ancestors was a nation asking for its rear handed to them. In orbit above, the 1st Fleet which consisted of 4 John F Kennedy class Space Carriers, a handful of Kidd class Space Destroyers and a single Battlewagon class Cruiser sat in orbit waiting for the deployment orders. The Carriers themselves could deploy up to 4,000+ troops within several hours and completely cover the skies of the Gibralter area with SA-43 Hammerheads.

Must this all come to violence? please stand down and let us talk about the supposed "Invasion"

....Do you think us fools? We have vessels in orbit, a spy satillite network, and quite frankly according to the UN we arent stupid. So what makes you think we're gulliable? My fellow Argyri, a dark day has arrived. Before us lies a decision harder than any made in our long history since the Dark Days of the 2nd War Among Brothers. Once more we must decide whether we will rest upon our laurels at home, or rise up against those that violate the moral character of our nation.

Last night, The Trojan Empire began attacking Spanish positions at Gibraltar, a clear act of war upon an unsuspecting and unprepared nation. I most whole-heartedly condemn these actions by the Trojans, as they reek of nothing more than the worst kind of imperialism and warmongering. I cannot in any way condone such actions, as they contradict the idea of national sovereignty and destroy the sense of balance required to maintain peace, which should be the goal of any sane country and its leaders.

I myself fell victim to the lies of the Trojans. During the night, members of the MIS (OOC: Military Intelligence Service) came to me and informed me that our spy satellites in orbit had picked up signatures of what appeared to be drop ships in our air space. I questioned King Priam, sovereign of the Trojan Empire aobut the matter, and was told that it was merely a flight of miners heading for other parts. It is only now that I have learned of the Trojan betrayal.

We Argyri are not a warlike people. For every ho (OOC: Argyri currency) we spend on the military, we spend 5 on our people, and on the people of the world who require aid in whatever form that might take. However, as much as war is not in our blood, we do not often have the choice of when to accept it, as war often calls at your door in the middle of the night, when you least expect it.

I do not wish for our people to suffer, nor do I wish suffering upon the people of the Trojan Empire, but the actions of our neighbor to the East must be clearly denounced, which I fully intend on doing.

To King Priam, who claims to be a wise and just ruler. You may yet be who you claim to be, yet your actions prove you no more virtuous than any other imperialist leader who cares more about power and gain than upon international law and the human condition. I condemn your act of war, and I condemn the lies you perpetrated in order to cover for those actions. For years we have lived in peace, two nations without need for concern, yet now you commit yourself to so foul a course of action?

My countrymen, I know not what you will decide upon this matter. Whether it be war, nothing, or some action in between the two, I will accept your judgement as being equal in value to the judgement of the Argyri people, who I am bound to serve as their king. For my part, I regret having been made a fool by the Trojans, but I plead for you to consider that I was merely attempting to maintain the hope of peace being a realistic conclusion to whatever might have been happening.

If this war expands to encompasse all of Spain I will know when it is time to take action.

Trojans, you are allowed to take Gibraltar, I will contact the Spanish government, under Agnar (the RL president) and force him to retract his troops from the city. BUT, if you ever decide to attack the rest of the peninsula you will face my wrath and my empire.

"Reports from the battlefield are 331 dead, 617 wounded. Gibraltar has been captured essentially except for pockets of resistance in GEP and an air resistance. Spanish and Portugese troops are on the move. Our armored regiments and marine reinforcements have nearly reached Gibraltar. An aerial campaign is to commence today against Ceuta," reported Aeneas.

"Excellent. Once Ceuta is ours, issue a treaty to Spain. We will pay for any civilian structures that may have been destroyed in our military campaign. Be sure to include that this is a "one time only" offer."

"Yes, your Highness."

"Watch your six, Archie 3, enemy bogies approaching."

"Roger that Archie 7, I see 'em."

The magnificient RF-11D Archangels, purchased from Raysia, glided through the air as they prepared to combat the inferior Spanish F-9 Desperados.

AAMs streamed through the air towards the F-9's, morphing the Spanish aerial assault into a display of fireworks.

The RF-11's were faster, and equipped with twelve AAM's and three ASM's each. They were a force to be reckoned with.

"CHRIST!" exclaimed the pilot of "Archie 19." He continued thus, "I've got two enemy bogies on my tail, I can't shake 'em! Missiles are flying by left and right. Help me! He..."

He exploded. The debris rained down as black smoke floated up from where the explosion had happened.

"You bastard!"

Soon, "Archie 22" moved in and was able to gun down the Spanish F-9 that had made his friend a piece of flaming wreckage.

"Bravo Zulu! Enemy destroyed!"

The leader fighter scanned the area for any other F-9's. None. "Move out! We got 'em all!"

Gibraltar has always been a British island, and shall be liberated from the foul Spanish. We have given The Trojan Empire plenty of time to leave the vicinity, and have offered them financial compensation - but they have declined. We have no plans to enter anywhere near the nation of The Trojan Empire, we simply wish to see their forces leave Gibraltar, and see the Altaranian and British flags fly above the bays.

They aren't going to reach us that easily. Besides, I'm sure the Spanish Navy will give 'em hell too," the CO ordered.

"This is Echo 997, carrying armored reinforcements. We've arrived!"

"Copy that Echo 997, this is Central Command -- you and your cronies are clear to land at GEP! Bring those Scorpions in!"

"Hey, we deliver!"

The armored regiment had arrived. Forty Aegean dropships and seventy-five Priam dropships spread out neatly over the occupied areas, unloading about 1500 Royal Marines and eighty M808B Scorpion main battle tanks along with several self-propelled howitzers.

A second wave of dropships would be arriving and unloading another armored and Royal Marine regiment in two hours.

In three hours, six heavy transport vessels would be docking at Gibraltar. These naval vessels carried precious cargo: two AT-AT Walkers each, thirty M12A1 Warthog LAAV's each, and ammunition.

This totaled twelve AT-AT's, 180 M12A1's, and countless rounds of ammunition for MA5B assualt rifles, M90 shotguns, Five-seveN armor-piercing pistols, and S2 AM sniper rifles. These vessels also carried equipment to install anti-ship missile stations.

It would be total hell.

<OOC: My AT-AT Walkers are 16 meters tall, 200 tons. They carry two 90mm ETC cannons (think two 130mm smoothbore cannons firing 16 rounds per minute each), two 50mm cannons (full auto, support fire), forty troops, and two M12 Warthog LRV's.>

*The Fleet begins to slow, and stops completely. A semi-circle formation is formed by the ships - holding position approximately 340miles out from Gibraltar. There is no indication as to what they are doing - the ships just drift gently in the ocean.*

"Any other final orders for the fleet?" repeated the Admiral.

"Yes," spoke the CO, "I want those two minelayers to lay mines."

"Done."

*3 AWACS planes are launched from the Ulyanovsks Red Tide, Brezhnev, and Revolution. They begin reconaissance sorties up to 200miles in all directions from the fleet.*

Unconfirmed reports of invading troops entry into Spain from Gibralter. If confirmed offensive must not be permitted to continue. We have been granted permission to deploy defensive troops into Spain to protect several areas leading from Gibralter into the rest of the nation. Your orders are as follows.

Operation Starfall:
1)Deployment of troops via ISSAPC from Carrier Group to planet surface. the Operation will commence at 12:00 hours under the codename Spook.

Do to the request of the Trojan Empire THe amount of Dorman forces in Gibralter is now being downsized from 500,000 to 100,000 the 400,000 moving is being transfered to the new territory of Tunisa. Air bases are being moved into Tunisia and whole bomber wings TDU's are making ther way to Tunisia. The 100,000 troops left in Gibralter are now mainly defensive fighters and engineers. But now the Dorman Air Force in the area is now being increased from 2,000 to 5,000. 600 are in constant patrol over Gibralter 24/7 and the small bomber wing is in support of the small defending forces. The reserve troops in Tunisia is no more than an hour away, so any invasion would be futile.

Hearing the happenings in Ceuta Elarian Centurions order 500 Gentari Fighters to head to Ceuta to give some air support to their comrades.

White blasts of small arms fire lit the sky from apartment windows. Machine gun fire roared. And the screams of the Trojan Paratroopers intensified.

Blood stained the streets of Ceuta and fire crackled loudly. Bodies were littered everywhere, a pile of decapitated limbs. Some men laid on the streets with their entrails hanging out, wailing in hideous pain.

"We can't hold them off much longer!" cried a terrified private as he sprayed assault rifle fire all over the area.

"Don't give up! Don't retreat!" hollered back the Sergeant as 5.7mm bullets popped one after another from his Five-seveN pistol. His uniform was torn from his left shoulder down to his hip and cuts laced the open skin. Blood trickled from this cuts and he occasionally winced in pain, as he continued firing round after round from his pistol -- halting only to reload.

Suddenly from the skies, the sound of aircraft was heard. The men looked up. They craft certainly wasn't Trojan: all bombers had exited the area and all support craft had been downed or damaged.

Sergeant Sychaeus squinted. "They're Elarians! They're Elarians!" he cried out joyfully. "Move back boys! We'll let our Imperial friends handle these bastards! You know the routine!"

The ordeal seemed to be coming to a close.

In the C-130's the CLF RLD's thought they were en route to gibraltar, on board the lead plane, was the comander of the brigade, Colonel Murphy. He had been monitoring the Sensors on board the plane and made a field command decision.

"This is Colonel Murphy, our new drop point in Trojan Controlled Ceuta. Prepare for engagement as soon as we hit land. Chutes on, prepare for jump in 3 minutes."

2,000 of the CLF's most elite soldiers were about to support the Trojans in thier struggle.

Elarian Gentari Fighters continues their ruthless assault. One Gentari Fighter gets only 20 feet from groun and goes upside down to salute the Trojan Commander before returning to battle.

Gentari Fighters engage any enemy trooper they see , no mercy is spared to the Spanish Forces.

In orbit the commanding Centurion of the Elarian Fleet over the area sipped her goblet of Elarian Ale calmly as she surveyed the situation.

She calmly took another sip and sat back as if nothing was happening.

"Yes Centurion!" He bows deeply and then turns to his control panel and begins locking on to Spanish Troops.

Qentor begins working his controls along with some others around the weapons control panels and the skies seems to rain hell on Spaniard positions. Gentari Fighters recieve orders and commands just in time to dodge incoming fire from the Orbital Bombardment.

Credonian President Kaimoni Sutton ordered all Credonian military forces to stand down and return to base. He also ordered that the alert level be dropped to DEFCON 4

All Credonian forces are on the move, enroute for their homeland. No explanation for the sudden pull out from the coalition has been stated. The people remained stunned and puzzled at President Sutton's decision.

Morocco is now in Dorman hands. Do to the growin conflict and since Gibralter is looking kinda stuffed with men and material, Dormie is offering any nation in the coalition with the Trojans space to land men and materia and air strips for if the war would escalate.

"Spaniard Troops , AAs spotted , Orbital Bombardment , position 73215."

Spanish troops launch a surface to air missile that one Gentari does not see. It hits the side of the Gentari and the pilot loses control and crashes not far from Trojan Forces.

The young female Elarian Pilot steps out , shaken and a bit bruised but alright. She picks up her Elarian Rifle and kneels down as she uses her comm to try and contact Trojan or CLF troops for assistance.

"This is Gentari Pilot Alisea Doronan , my fighter was hit by a STA Missile , I need assistance!"

She fires into the head of an advancing Spanish Trooper.

Gentaris fly by and spot her and attempt to give her cover and strafe advancing Spanish forces.

The transmission was scrambled and fuzzy.

"What the fuck did they say?" hollered the commander as he pedaled backwards. The noise of AA fire and aircraft fire was deafening.

"An Elarian pilot was downed! Jackson and Omar go investigate the situation. Take an M19 too!"

Semi OOC: New Genoa is like a brother to Elara this is true. Though Elarians believe that the citizens of Gibraltar would be better in the hands of the Trojans than the Spanish. We remember the Spanish and when the Spanish Empire was at its strongpoint. We remember they tried to take Elaras earth lands and ever since we pushed them back we have held that resentment. We do not trust the Spanish , it will take much to rebuild that trust we once held so long ago. We are also trying to do our part to protect Imperialists which have , in the past been hunted down by certain groups of Communist and Democratic societies. Elara holds a bit of resentment for that as well. Maybe now you understand a bit of why the Elarians got involved in this. The colonel then turned back and opened fire again. Gave orders to his team over the com and they moved, with in seconds the only way you could visualy see where they were was from thier plasma blasts and the trail of Acid fire Grenades they were launching from the under-barrel launchers on thier rifles.

"For Spain!" cried Spanish soldiers as attack helicopters and F-9 [i]Desperados covered their end of the sky.

Thousands of Portugese and Spanish troops were coming marched with battle tanks and support vehicles close-by.

"Detonate the mines, in three... two... one... now!" cried out a Trojan commander.

Red orange fire exploded from the dirt ground, tossing debris and men into the air. The small arms battle begun minutes later, followed by heavy shelling of mortars on both ends of the battlefield.

Until now, the Trojans on the frontlines of Gibraltar had yet to receive any vehicles besides M12 Warthog LRV's and a handful of Warthog LAAV's.

"They aren't here yet! Central Command says they're on their way to the air terminal! They should be arriving in forty-five minutes!"

Naval ships are in Gibraltar Harbor: two Battleships, two frigates, and six submarines. The sounds of thousands of Elarian troops are heard marching in to reinforce their Trojan friends.

The sky is balckened as over 1000 Gentaris are launched , most from the Naval and Space fleet since room is tight on Gibraltar itself. They move in and engage the inferior Spanish airforces. At the same time some Tor'Veths begin to open fire with Plasma Tracking Missiles and other weaponry.

An Elarian Centurion walks up to a Trojan Commander on the frontlines.

"We've set up a line , EIA in first positions , Tor'Veths behind the front line , we've even brought Imperial Guards." "Fear not , the Spanish airforces are facing our Gentari Fighters , you have nothing to worry about from the air."

Orbital Bombardment of advancing Spanish and Portugese troops commense as soon as they hit what was once the neutral zone.

EIA , Imperial Guard and Tor'Veths unleash hell on the Spaniards and Portugese as they came. This was what they had been waiting for , finally they could settle an old score.

OOC: This is an old vendetta against the Spanish that the Elarians are settling here. Also Im not accepting that Dorman and Elarian vessels crashed into each other. Especially since in space other vessels can go above and below one another , and I dont believe Dorman ship commanders are so stupid that they would ram into Elarian vessels as if they werent even paying attention. Not only that but my ships are spread out above Gibralter , Ceuta and the Med. Sea inbetween and around them targetting systems dictate where we hit , a ship could be over Ceuta and aim and hit a target in Gibraltar.

Just, tell me how two or three fleets can occupy the same area of space, and I'll be happy. Being above or below doesn't work, considering there were 45 ships in his fleet alone (apparently, anyway....). You are forgetting that Gibraltar isn't a big place, that many ships cannot all orbit the same small area of land.

Forget everything I've said or done...I just realised that this is future tech. I'm m,odern, give or take a decade or two.

Bayorta is modern tech, and my Earth forces are modern/near future.

OOC: Altaran , scroll up. I already said my ships were above Ceuta , Gibraltar and the Med Sea. They are spead out over that area. Theres plenty of room for all our ships in the med. sea area and the iberian area. In this area my vessels can orbitally bombard enemy forces in Gibraltar and Ceuta with no problem. You cant slip your way into being the only space power in the area. Now then , thats the end of it.

Over the skies, 125 Aegean dropships soared over Gibraltar carrying 10,000 TRAU's and 500 Zeus I APC's.

"Echo 559 reporting, landing at the AT LZ!"

"Copy that, Echo 559! You're clear to land!"

"Echo 681 coming down too!"

"Alright, one second... ok, now you're clear to land!"

And thus this trend continued as most of the dropships landed near the Air Terminal area. Soon after they would take the north road to reinforce the Trojan lines.

Centurion Hans Hesek looked to Calchas , this was a man he trusted. But still , something seemed wrong.

"Bah , if you boys want a drink come when your shifts over , Ill bring you to an Elarian camp and give you a real drink , Elarian Ale." "Most powerful drink in existence , save the wine for the POWs."

Hans smiled at his friends and then looked up to see Gentaris and Spanish Aircraft in dogfights.

"At long last....the Spanish are repaid for past debts......" "Id check to rest of the truck as well , might have to comphiscate more of those drinks.....you know....study them....make sure theyre safe." Hans says with a bit of a snicker , hoping for a party later to celebrate the Spanish and Portugese failed attempts at retaking Gibraltar.

Hans takes a swig of Elarian Ale and begins to sing an old Elarian Warsong , hes plays his real thoughts off , secretly keeping watch over the men as his Trojan comrades pat them down.

"Aye, we've heard of the joys of Elarian Ale, O noble Elarian," said Auto.

"Yes, and we cannot accept this wine, it's against our orders. Now please step out of the truck," spoke Calchas.

The guards moved toward the truck to inspect it...

The 16th armored Legion rolled to the lines, On the western side, they re-enforced the guard post lines. An hour later the 3rd-5th A/HO legions took thier positions, ready to toast anything in thier range on a moments notice. the 43rd-48th Mech Inf. Legions took a reserve position, almost on the airstrip, they seemed like they were planning something. All these troops had been entrusted to the veteran, Centurian Gui'Fin.

OOC: Then say that, not 'my ships are orbiting above Gibraltar'. Ok, doesn't matter anymore then.
The men are already out of the truck ;)

IC: *The men stand on the roadside, smiling at the guards and the Elaran. They go to the truck, and lift up the tarpaulin so the Trojan guard can see inside. There are numerous crates, all filled with bottles of red wine.*

Calchas peered in.

"Interesting," he said. "Seems like their story checks out. Only bottles of wine," he continued.

M808B Scorpions battle tanks crashed into the Spanish lines, flanking them. Countless rounds of 90mm fire poured out if their cannon and the racket of machine gun fire intesified.

Small arms fire was useless against the M808. More explosions rumbled, from both the ferocious air battle and land battle. Blood stained the area and bodies littered the battlefield along with bullets and shells. The groans of dying men also sounded.

Trojan medics rushed to their comrades, spraying 7.62mm bullets everywhere. They tended to the wounded, by either actually healing their wounds or giving them a shot of morphine to dull the pain.

Still, the Spanish line faltered. The Elarian troops had been putting up hell and were the sole reason that the enemy lines had yet to make a significant advance.

At this time, the prominent Colonel Dolon was arriving to lead his regiment into battle.

"I can hear the gunfire, sir," said a young lieutenant.

"Yes, we're almost there," mumbled the colonel. "Now! Straighten up ladies! This is the big dance. Everyone in standard formation. We fight for Troy, we die for Troy. Show honor and give 'em hell."

"Sir, yes, SIR!"

*The men look at the Trojan guard*

The 2nd RLD brigade was holding out well, they really lived up to their reputation. Murphy surveyed his troops, he couldnt see any man hit yet, but he knew there were some. Murohy looked at his mobile command assistant("a PDA of field commanders" haha). He saw that allied forces were soon to be there to support. He then loaded another acid-fire granade int the sub-launcher and let it fly, seeing several spanish troopers fly into the air from the shell-hole they were firing from.

The roar of engines was deafening.

"Let's move, ladies! We need to get these big birds in the sky by 1900!" shouted the esteemed general.

One by one, B-252X Panther heavy bombers took to the skies, carrying a deadly package of high-explosive bombs and medium missiles.

"All units pull back and make an opening! AT-AT comin' through!"

The giant beast's legs shook the ground violently as it slowly stomped its way through the Spanish and Portugese lines. Bullets literally bounced off the massive beast leaving it unscathed.

"Artillería! Artillería" echoed throughout their lines as both howitzers and mortars were being rapidly moved into position to counter the mammoth. The AT-AT would, of course, pummel any batteries that were spotted, creating large ditches of debris and ash.

Following the Trojan lead Elarian White Tiger IV Bombers take off with Gentari Escorts and begin their bombing runs of Spaniard and Portugese positions.

10 Tor'Veths ease out through the passageway and line up next to the AT-AT to provide assistance. The Spaniards and Portugese were going to feel hell from the Trojans and Elarians.

Gentari Fighters fly in Vanguard Formations and begin diving and then lifting a bit to skim the surface of the ground by just over 15 feet firing into enemy lines and lifting back up high into the air just before they hit the enemy. (OOC: Dont read that wrong , I said 'Lifting back up high into the air just before hitting the enemy' , so no these arent Kamakazes they fly back into the air right as they reach enemy lines.)

"Battle reports, Colonel?" said General Isocrates.

"Well, the AT-AT and Scorpions have reached the battle front. The enemy is frantically struggling to counter the armored attack. Elarian fighters are strafing the enemy nonstop," responded the colonel.

"Good, good," Isocrates said. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and continued thus, "Losses?"

"The Spanish and Portugese mini air attack on our troops was devastating. Luckily the Gentaris extinguished the threat effectively. Ground losses are estimated at anywhere from 3000 to 4000 casualties."

Isocrates nodded. "Aye, this battle is coming to a close. Once our counterparts in Ceuta are reinforced and that city taken, our task will be completed. We haven't seen any signs of that so-called large coalition intervene at all. Except for several satellite and radar readings. Things are looking good."

Battle at Gibraltar
The AT-AT's large legs stampeded through hundreds of men at a time while blasts of 90 millimeter fire struck the ground every four to five seconds. Sudden pauses in the firing method would cease temporarily and 50 millimeter fire would scream loudly and flash rapidly, gunning down anyone in its path.

"Veo! Allí! Allí!" cried a the young sergeant of a diminshed Spanish platoon. His friend loaded the double-barreled rocket launcher for the sergeant. He knelt on his knees behind a pile of sandbags. Explosions boomed and small arms fire was always crackling. He peered through the scope on the rocket launcher. His finger moved slowly closer to the trigger. And he fired. The two 102 millimeter rockets flung through the air and the sergeant ducked beneath the sandbag. Two more rockets were loaded as the other two smashed into the AT-AT's left front leg. Two more rockets sliced through the air, this time exploding as they made contact with the AT-AT's head, where the crew was located.

"Shit!" cried the AT-AT driver as he looked like a frightened deer does when an oncoming car is speeding towards it. The "head" exploded and two more rockets followed, destroying one leg. The AT-AT tumbled to the ground. All the passengers and crewmembers were dead.

"Oh my god..." said a mortified Trojan Royal Army Unit.

"Get back to work kid! This battle ain't over cause those spicks were able to take down an AT-AT! Continue with the assault!" said Colonel Dolon, as he tried to urge his men on and veer them away from the immense distraction of a destroyed AT-AT.

Clouds of dark black smoke rose up into the skies and the putrid, burning smell of fire permeated the air. It looked like hell.

Battle at Ceuta
"Ok, everyone move back!" cried the commander.

Nearly all 600 paratroopers were now dead and gunfire was coming from every direction. The intesity of the assault had dulled a bit after Elarian fighters had arrived but the battle was still ferocious.

"In that building now!"

"Holy shitamoli!" said one soldier as an Arabic-looking militiaman lunged at him. The Trojan dodged the attack and immediately plunged his battle knife into the attacker's chest. He ripped it out as the man fell to the ground, dazed and gushing with blood.

Forty-eight men were left. One platoon and a downed Elarian pilot were the ground presence that was fending off an onslaught of Spanish soldiers and Arabic militiamen. Forty-eight.

Colonel Murphy gave the order to advance, they would assist those Trojans. All 2000 RLD's came out of cover, the fire they were supressing was neutralized. Murphy got on the comm,
"This is Colonel O'Conn...er Murphy of the CLF 2nd RLD Brigade, trojan posotions, give us your locations so we can assist."

Ceuta:

An Imperial Guard walks up behind the Commander of the 48 Trojan Soldiers pinned down and taps him on the soldier.

He then says very quietly in a whisper: "Look to the Spanish positions by those buildings." The Imperial Guard points to a small squad of Spaniard Forces , Imperial Guards start to drop in and come up behind them. Some grab the heads of the Spaniards and twist them almost clean off , while others take their Elarian Swords and run them through or decapitate them. When members of the Spaniard squad realise whats going on its already too late.

The Elarians take the Spanish fortification and then open fire on the Spanish advancing forces putting them in a crossfire between the Trojans and the Elarians.

The Imperial Guard turns to the Trojan Commander.

"Theres only a hundred of us Imperial Guard here , Im sorry we couldnt spare more." "Lets give them some hell."

The Imperial Guard swings his Elarian Plasma Rifle around and opens fire into Spanish troops as does the young Elarian Pilot.

Gibraltar:

A Gentari Fighter who cannot see through the black smoke accidently crashes into a Spanish line and a massive explosion of blue flame is saw. The pilot ejected just in time but is surrounded by Spanish Forces. Her current status is unknown , she has been listed as MIA. OOC: Think of the Jessica Lynch situation.

Why have the Sapnish got Gibralter! We would never let them have it. We demand that the territory is returned to its Rightful Owner, the UK.

The commander nodded. He reloaded his assault rifle.

"Alright, boys! Let's give 'em hell! Everyone to that building, three o'clock," he hollered. He turned and spoke thus to the Elarian, "Aye, 'tis be a good choice if you can get your boys on the roofs of the buildings on the next street over. This way we can pummel Spanish forces from both sides. My men are moving their positions to where you've got the EIG. Agreed? Now, I've got reports of CLF forces in the area although the radioman was recently gunned down by an RPG. There's still hope."

The blood-soaked, dust-faced, battle-torn Trojans moved into the nearby buildings to their right climbing up flights of stairs until they reached the roofs. They croached down.

"We'll cover you, commander," whispered an ex-sergeant (his own platoon had been wiped out).

Plasma fire hit nearby[the trojans and elarans] and RLD's could be seen taking and retunring fire. One of them, a Sgt, saw the allies and then got on the com,
"Got em sir!"

*The truck slowly drives off the main road, towards a small wood. It stops, and the men get out, looking around - making sure there are no enemy forces near. They enter the back of the truck, and remove all the crates of wine - stashing them in a pre-dug ditch in the forest. A fake wall is removed from the back of the truck, along with several floor boards - these are also hidden. The team remove all their equipment and weapons which were hidden inside cache crates behind the panels, and suit up. They cover the truck with camoflage netting and trees, and make sure their tracks are covered. They head into the wood, and up a small hillock - towards Signal Hill....*

Battle at Gibraltar
M808B Scorpions bulldozed through the Spanish and Portugese lines now. Volley after volley of 105mm fire boomed from their cannons.

One by one, Spanish and Portugese troops began to surrender as more Trojan armored reinforcements flanked their sides.

"Well done, noble Elarian," said the Colonel Dolon to an Elarian commander.

*The squad climb to the top of Signal Hill, their battlesuits making the climb far easier than for a non-suited person. They find a good spot from which most of the peninsula is visible, and begin plotting coordinates of the Trojan Army, the Imperial Guard and some Elaran positions.*

50 of the Imperial Guards move to the building as asked by the Trojans and then set up and open fire on Spaniard troops.

The other 49 Imperial Guards hold their position continue their fire.

200 More Gentaris arrive from Gibraltar and enter the fray targeting Spaniard positions.

Continuous fire is all that is all that is heard , Ceuta is in hell right now.

In Gibraltar Elarian troops continue their work and Tor'Veths surround the downed AT-AT where they hold off the Spaniards and Portugese , the AT-AT technology will not fall into their hands.

Dimming flashes of Elarian plasma fire and Trojan rifle fired blared as the men moved in to extinguish the last remnants of the Spanish and Portugese regiments, using the AT-AT as cover.

"Move, move, move!"

"Outgoing grenade, take cover!"

"Holy shit, watch out for those spicks, two o'clock!"

"Fragged him!"

"Damnit, I'm hit... AHHH!"

*The Captain whispers a succession of coordinates and points into his helmet mike - positions of the troops being relayed to the ships, still sitting miles from the peninsula.*

*Aboard the ANS Red Star, a radio operator tells the references to a plotter, who marks all the positions on the peninsula on his map of Gibraltar. The radio operator relays the coordinates to all the other ships in the fleet.*

*Several supply ships have been making runs to the vessels, along with troop transports. An evident build up is apparent in the fleet.*

OOC:The ships are to the west of the peninsula - between that bit where Spain nearly touches Africa (if I'm making sense and I have my geography right.)

But they aren't heading anywhere; data has simply been collated.

Battle at Ceuta

"Take this you sandmonkey bastards!"

7.62 millimeter bullets rained upon the Arabic militiamen. The militiamen seemed quite surprised and thus their counterattack to the assault was slower than usual.

Telemachus III of New Ilium looked across the street as his Elarian counterpart rained plasma hell against the militia. He smiled. It had been a hellish two days in Ceuta. He was tired, drenched in sweat, bruised, covered with cuts, and his clothes were in tatters. Yet he felt a sudden mirth as he, his comrades, and the Elarians gained their revenge.

"Alright, next street, gentelmen! You know the drill!"

The Trojans hopped off their buildings and creeped across the streets climbing up the buildings the Elarians were stationed upon. The pattern continued. Only this time, the Arabs would know they were coming after hearing the gunfire from the street over.

It would be hell once more.

"Alright boys, the Elarans and Trojans are going to get hit very hard if they continue they way they are. Are you sure you cant raise em on the com gunny?" Murphy asked.

"No sir, not a word from em" The Gunny replied

Murphy nodded in dissapointment, "Very well, that means boys, we gotta hit that intersection before our buddies do, because from the direction they are heading, every single gun there will open up before they can blink. So you know what that means, we need to move!"

His platoon officers nodded and got to thier men, 2 minutes later they moved. Comming in from a different direction on the mentionted intersection, they would be able to hit the Militia men from thier weak spot, they were expecting the Elarans and Trojans from a different direction.

Battle at Ceuta

"Sir, we can't jump out into that street!"

"Why not!"

"Ugh... and you're the commanding officer, too. Jeez. They'll have the advantage to pump hot lead into our lungs. We should at least check first quickly and stealthily to at least organize a simple assault plan," replied the weary private.

"Heheheheh... you're right. Eurymachus!" hollered the commander.

"Yes, sir?" replied the only remaining sniper unit, Eurymachus.

"Scan the street for hostile positions. Snipe off the heavy guns."

"Alright, sir."

Eurymachus crouched low and peered quitely over the edge of the building. He scanned the area. Nothing except for the cool, desert breeze and a desolate surrounding. Nothing.

He kept his finger close to the trigger and he slowly and steadily moved the rifle across the area. After awhile, he pulled one hand away from the gun and spoke thus, "Aye, nothing but pure desolation. Should be a safe crossing, lads!"

Underneath this building, two Arabic men with short beards and sweaty faces were working busier than bees as they polished the last aspects of their creation. Packs of C4. Bombs.

It was finished now. The first man pressed down the trigger and this instigated the bombs immediately.

Without any notice, the ground below the Elarians and Trojans, the roof floor, fell apart from their legs. Men hurtled into the air as that building, and the two buildings adjacent to it were engulfed in its fire.

The explosion looked as if a volcano had erupted chucking hot lava into the air, only debris, men, and fire had been thrown upwards instead of lava...

Eurymachus awoke, dazed and experiancing a migraine. Every limb on his body was in pain. He felt the cold blood trickle down his bruised forehead. Everything was blurry and sounds seemed distorted and fuzzzy. He was being moved, and he glanced to his left and right to see two men on each side carrying him on a green stretcher. They were singing an unfamiliar song, so he assumed that these men were Arabs.

Escorting these men were other men carrying rifles. He now knew that he had been captured by the militiamen, the first Trojan POW.

He allowed his heavy head to plop back down on the stretcher. The worst was yet to come.

Telemachus searched the flaming remains and charred buildings for anyone that had survived. All he saw were mutilated body parts and debris. Shattered glass blanketed the grounds and flickering fires crackled.

"Anyone there?" he shouted.

For awhile there was total silence until a dim voice responded, "Here! Over here!"

Telemachus followed the voice to find a wounded Elarian. He helped the man up and the proceeded to search for survivors.

Although it seemed that Telemachus, the Elarian, and Eurymachus were the only survivors from the violent explosion.

Would help be coming?

Murphy saw the explosion as dust and debris floated his way. He looked down and muttered.
"Oh no..." He got on the comm, " All stop, change of plans, looks like they got out of the intersection, you all saw the blast, search and rescue now, all but Eco. Echo I want you to get a high point and cover us all, snap to men!"

Cough... cough

Telemachus wheezed. His head was sore and there was no sign of survivors other than the Elarian he had found. Suddenly, he heard the chatters of voices. He drew his military dagger immediately and looked around.

Nothing.

The voices grew louder and less familiar. They were not Spanish, Arabic, Portugese, Trojan, or Elarian. They were the CLF. When he saw the first platoon walk down the street, he fell to his knees, letting the dagger slip from his clammy hands.

"OVER HERE!" he wheezed once more to gain their attention...

The men heard the voice and tunred with thier weapons aimed. They saw the Trojan and ran foward. The Lieutenant got on his com...
"Colonel, this is Lieutenant Baker, we got some injured, Trojan, they got hit hard sir. We need medivac ASAP."

The colonel's face got even more worn with distress, he felt heavily fro the Trojans, and the Elarans had been long time friens of the Commonwealth, from the very beginning.

"Very well Lt. bring them back. Echo keep an eye out for us, all other teams, proceed with the search."

He then adjusted th channel on his comm
"Trojan command, this is Colonel Murphy of the CLF, we have multiple casualties, we need medivac ASAP!"

<OOC: Well, uh, since we haven't seized Ceuta yet... we haven't established a medevac. That survivor [and one the POW] are the only Trojans left in Ceuta. Trojan Central Command is all the way in Gibraltar. Anyway, I suggest we rap this RP up with the capture of Ceuta and rescue mission of the POW.>

General Isocrates grazed through his battle maps stored on the shelf of his office. Gibraltar had been seized and the Spanish and Portugese were retreating. Communications with Ceuta had been lost hours upon hours ago. He rubbed his forehead.

God damn it... what went wrong in Ceuta? What could have gone wrong? We freakin' bombed the place before we landed our paratroopers. he thought to himself quietly. He was perplexed and his assistant could recognize this look.

"What's wrong, General?" he interrogated.

"Nothing. Nothing," muttered Isocrates.

"I know there's a problem. I can sense it."

"Huh... contact with Ceuta was lost hours ago. We've been trying to get through to them but communication with them has been totally impossible. Something done there obliterated that force. I know it. Several hours ago, an Elarian Imperial Guard unit was deployed to seek out our paratroopers in Ceuta. No response. What's gone wrong? If we cannot even seize the small city of Ceuta, even after we bombed it to the ground, how can we ever expect to hold off another Spanish and Portugese military wave? Huh?"

His assistant patted him on the shoulder and spoke thus, "There, there. There, there. We must send out another unit. We must send reinforcements to that area. You know it."

"Yes, but I'm afraid to. I'm afraid 600 more Trojan fathers, sons, and brothers will never have a chance to see their families again if I send them on a mission like this."

"These are the sacrifices we made when we joined the military, General. It is war."

"Alright, ladies. Pile on in! We're on a rescue mission! Yeehaw!" cried the commander of the Trojan Royal Army Search and Rescue Mission Companies 1 through 6.

Six hundred more men were to paradrop into the hellhole known as Ceuta to rescue whatever of their comrades were left. They had already been briefed two hours before and given probable locations of their friends.

"Be aware of your surroundings, boys. There's word that a CLF force landed there, but radio communications have been fuzzy. Godspeed."

The massive airplanes took off into the sky and soared towards Ceuta on mission none of these Trojans would ever forget.

Murphy looked to the radio man as he shook his head, still no response.
"Damn..." He muttered, thought for a second, and then turned to his officers. "Alright boys, still no response. Heres what we do. I want this area secure. I want a temp command center, and defensive positions set. I want all available radio men to keep trying. Now we know that if we stay on the horn, it is more likley to be picked up by those bastards who wont let us be. So I need everyone's eyes peeled. Unless they are Elaran or Trojan, I want them shot on sight. All civs at this point are gone anyways...Now get to it!"
The men hurried off as the orders were issued and put into action, Murphy got back to thinking, he seemed unhappy with his current position.

*The Altaranian ships leave the area, the special forces being left behind to integrate into the population of the annexed state.*

The medical tent had been established and a field surgen was taking a look at the wounded Trojan and the Elaran, the senturies were established, but Murphy was still unsetteled...

The Colonel was standing with his staff officers, they were making reports.
"...And the ammunition is still okay, water could be better, MRE's are th-"
The colonel inturupted him,"We need an advance team."
The Captain who was speaking earlier gave hima puzzled look and said, "Why sir?"
The colonel looked pensive,"Im not sure, I think we shoudlnt be just waiting here, we were originally here on the offensive, lets just continue that shall we? The senturies dont need as many shifts, We could get 2 platoons out."
A major spoke up. "Excellent idea, we could hit some of thier readguard positions.!"
"Indeed Major, then its setteled, make it so."
A corous of 'Yes Sir's followed.

In a brief, straight-to-the-point statement, King Priam declared major operations in Gibraltar and Ceuta. This statement comes 17 hours after Search and Rescue companies landed in Ceuta and, along with CLF forces, exterminated the rebel resistance. One more division is being sent to Ceuta to secure the city.
