UNSC Develops 'Moral Laws' for its people
I. Abortion is here-by banned. Any unwanted children are immediatley conscripted into the UNSC Military.
II. Marriage is the union of one man and one woman, married couples must bear (if possible) 25 children. 20 or more of the children will be conscripted into the UNSC Military.
III. Burials are a waste of land, the fallen will be given an honor as to be converted into a cyborg to live on in UNSC history forever with families permssion or will be cremated.
IV. Citizens are those who have served in the UNSC military, only citizens may vote and have less taxes. The rest are civillians. Civillians are usially refugees, non-militaristic workers, pacafists, liberals, and lazy bums.
V. Wars must be justified or will be ignored.
VI. Capitol punshiment is banned, high crimes result in permanent military duty.
VII. Military duty will also consist of non-militaristic occupations.

You sure are getting a big army! LOL!
We are only doing this for the best of the UNSC.

OOC:
1) That would start a huge civil war in your country, but I don't see anything that is unusually wrong.
2) I can assure you that bearing 25 or more children would have a devasting effect on your economy. Thats a 1,250% increase in population per year.
3) Nothing that wrong with it
4) That would push the "Civilians" into a major revolt crippling your economy & military.
5) Wrong, I could attack you, just to gain some land. You couldn't ignore my invasion forces.
6) How the hell are you going to support your military? It seems to me that half, if not more of the population will be drafted in the military. Thus your factories, farms, and weapon producers aren't making enough stuff to support your military or your population, which makes you a even poorer North Korea.
OOC:
In RPing I get to say what casualties are, If the war is unjustified I'll just ignore it.
Civil war? What can they do civillians can't own firearms.
Civillians are made up of generally refugees, pacifists, and lazy people.
Learn Supply and Demand.

1) If I invaded you for no reason,(Which I can do) and you ignored it, you would be ignored by about 57 different people.(They would consider it sore RPing)
2) Have you ever heard of "Rioting" their numbers would be as effective as firearms
3) So your saying your most of your population has been in the military
4) You won't have anyone to supply you, and everyone will be demanding something

OOC: And, in the real world, highly militarized economies are only good for one thing... fighting wars (and sometimes they aren't even that good at doing that). However, they cannot be sustained forever. Just look at the already-given example of North Korea. If you want to have any sort of credibility, don't dictate to people things like "Learn Supply and Demand" when they give you perfectly valid examples of bad economic theory.
OOC:
By supply I suggest production.
So what if they ignore me, I probably wouldn't want to go to war with them anyways.
Yes, most of our populace has served in the military, take a look in our desciption "Compulsory Military" compulsory last time I checked means mandatory.

Supply and demand only works IF YOU HAVE PEOPLE WORKING IN A FACTORY, FARM, OR BUSINESS.
I may be wrong, but the way I RP is if someone attacks you, and you ignore them, you better have a damn good reason.
"Compulsory" does not half of your citizens are in the military. "Compulsory" means 3-5% of your citizens, can be in the military.

OOC: "Compulsory" means that, at some point, nearly all citizens have to perform some sort of service... it does not specify how long the terms are, nor does it imply that a vast swath of the populace is in the military at any given time.
OOC:
Exactly so, whats this about compulsory not meaning mandatory?
OOC:
I forgot to ask why a ban against abortion would start a civil war?
This nation is now on the Imperial Watch List.
ooc: So people that commit rape and murder are actually part of your military? and you expect them to be a viable fighting force? This would be borderline god modding except that the military you will field will be so inept and partially unwilling to fight that i'd be glad to go up against you. You simnply mobilizing your forces would probably do enough damage to force your government into surrender.
OOC:
This is exactly what I want, some people to have a good debate over.
OOC:

Compulsive service does not mean that half of your population is in the military. Compulsive service is at the most a (RL) military % that equals NK.

OOC:
Ok you have clarified that, now whats this about anti-abortion starting a civil war?
OOC:
BTW: Please no one interfere I'm trying to have a good debate.

Out of 63 million people, Do you think everyone will agree on outlawing abortions? Some percentage of the population won't agree and start revolting. It's even more likely since unwanted babies are put in the military, and some people would think that was evil, and cruel.

I'm Catholic so I'm completely pro-life, those unwanted children need somewhere to go.

OOC:i am just looking over youre so-called laws, and a few points:
1.youre nation is getting alot like sparta was and they were beat twice and then slowly decaed.
2. how are all the women supposed to have 25 children if evreyone is conscripted.
3. youre laws all togather almost beg for civil war.
4.war will come to you,by others or youre own people.
5.if i had more guns and equipment,i would consider invading you
6.and just another complaint, all youre people are in the military who are going to work all the hospitals, gun factories, etc.
7.when youre nation goes to war, which one way or anotehr it will i am sure with youre laws you will call up all the reserves and attack youre enemy,i dont blame you but youre whole nation is youre military and youre economy will be ruined.
8.if you are at a pro-longed war youre nation will get no taxes since the people are out fighting and then you cant support them out in the field, they come back and then you still cant support them because youre tresury will be empty.
OOC:
You know in the (If you didn't realize I'm using ideas from Starship Troopers) military terms are a mandatory 2 years. After that you gain citizenship and whatever else is up to you.

Lets say a girl named Molley was sitting in her apartment watching TV. A man walks in the room, points a knife at her, and rapes her. She goes to the police and they identify the attacker, and he is sent off to the military. Then to top it all off Molley is pregnant, with twins. So she asks for a abortion, and your goverment says no. Thus she waits for nine months and gives birth. Her sons remind her of that day and she decides to put them up for adoption. No one takes her sons so they are "Given" the same punishment as the man that caused their birth was given.
Many cases like this would happen pissing many people off.
PS. Your personal beliefs aren't usually that relevent in NS. Such as most Communists on NS aren't Communists in RL,(I hope so or we are in Big, Big, Big trouble ) they just like to RP as a communist.
OOC:
Ever hear of the term cannon fodder? now lets think what do the criminals get to be? We aren't using capitol punishment, but sending them to defend their nation.
The military is not only brute force, intellect is one of the most imporatant parts.
BTW: Abortion is wrong becasue the unborn children are at no fault of their own.

Cannon Fodder is what the unwanted babies get to be too
OOC:
No cannon fodder is specifically reserved for criminals. The "unwanted babies" recieve a full education and actual training. Either they become a CO or they have a different military/non-military occupation. Potential lives should not be wasted.

Sounds like a pretty good idea. What if the criminals commit a crime while in the military, ranging from stealing to murder? What do you do then?

You are arming Felons, especially murderes and rapists. Your Logic train derailed upon leaving the station in my book.
