Less than an hour ago, the Triumvir's Council held an impromptu meeting to discuss the state of affairs in the Dominion. The Council has just adjourned, and Praetor Elijah Marris is about to make an announcement regarding the recently reported spike in unemployment. We bring you now live, to the Triumvir's Council Chambers.

Citizens of Our Triumviral Dominion, the numbers are in. Although our economy is at an all-time high, and we are among the fastest-growing nations in all of Hyarmendorath, it appears that there is one field we have not yet matched the quota of. That region is in our unemployment rate. Looking at the numbers, we see nothing but good. Our economy is on the uprise, the Gil is appreciating, crime rates are falling, our military is growing, the problems of previous governments in this land are being wiped away.
Nothing could possibly be wrong, could it? But there is still one thing wrong with our economy. We see thousands of unemployed citizens sleeping in the streets, begging for food. This is a disgusting sight to behold, and the Council wishes to do something about it. After long debate, we have come to a consensus on how to solve our crisis.
A new law has passed the Council and will be ratified within the next week. This bill offers a place in the Triumviral Army to any citizen that wishes to serve his country, with a high return on your investment of time: we offer, for each day of service in the military, 100 Gil (approximately 321 USD, for foreign viewers). This translates to a huge sum if you choose the Army as a long-term plan.
The plan requires any enrolling citizen to, at the least, complete Basic Training (a period of 6 weeks, or 42 days) and be put on the list of Inactive Duty, to be called upon if our nation faces a crisis. In addition to the regular pay of 100 Gil per day, a bonus of 300 Gil will be offered to any who complete Basic Training. This means that after 6 weeks, you're 4500 Gil richer, and able to return to your life.
In addition to offering a place in our military to our own citizens, this offer is given to any peoples in any nation. The pay for a non-Triumviral citizen who would join our military is 70 Gil per day, with a 160 Gil bonus for completing Basic Training, or a total of 3100 Gil.
Inactive Service members will be able to enlist at any time, for a 6-week period.
