In an effort to increase competiviness with foreign jet makers, and to reduce the cost of military jets on the goverment, the nation of SIH has authorized the break-up unions and the subsequent layoff of superflous workers, and the reduction in pay of those who remain.

Of course there is a better solution: get rid of the high earning managers, workers are vital but managers aren't.

For a good example of how to make this work, try looking up Semco: a RL brazilian engineering company

It goes without saying that the reorganization will only eliminate the workers who don't perform a necessary function, the management and office staff is also expected to be reduced.

We do not expect major decreases in pay and perks for upper level executives however, for they are the brains of the operation and success or failure is nearly entirely dependant on them.

The goverment has authorized the hiring of permaneant replacement workers to fill vacancies left by striking union members. Furthermore, strikers will be overtly "black-listed" from the manufacturing industry.

The military has been called in to ensure that there is no interference in production.
