(not godmoding because it came up as an issue in my outstanding issues thing)

The Armed Republic of Boomness, in conjunction with corperation NUKE4U found a uranium deposit along its southeast coast. We will begin mining it as soon as the law passes and we are willing to sell it. We will price it at $20 USD a pound. There is no uranium to be shipped now but a pre-order discount is availible if you order now it is only $15 USD a pound.
Thank You

Boomness Decides:
Uranium Deposit Promises To Enrich Boomness

The Issue
Prospecting company Nukes4U has uncovered a large uranium deposit in Boomness's south-west.

The Debate
"This is terrific find!" claims Nukes4U CEO Stephanie Hamilton. "It will provide an enormous stimulus to our economy and create thousands of new jobs. It's win-win! All we need from the government is permission to bulldoze the rainforest that's on top of the deposit."

This is the position your government is preparing to adopt.

"You've got to be kidding," says Green politician Max Li. "This rainforest is thousands of years old! This country needs more environmental protection, not less. And to destroy the environment in order to mine uranium that then goes into nuclear bombs--well, that really sticks in my craw."
[Accept]

"There's no need for an either-or decision," says the government's Minister for Mining, Clear-Felling, and the Environment. "We can preserve most of the rainforest and allow mining of a small part. After all, think of all the good that the money from this uranium deposit can bring to Boomness."
[Accept]
The Government Position
The government has indicated its intention to follow the recommendations of Option 1.

If you wish, you may simply dismiss this issue.

OOC:
We can't see the issue and you just started creating the law to be able to mine it. You're not mining it yet, wait until it says so in your nation's description. Don't sell now, it's still godmodding.
