Emergency election of new Interim President to be held shortly
CRETAL CITY, CRETAL (CFP)-
In response to the unlawful deployment of 500 SDF Special Forces troops to the nation of Boomness, the Senate and Consulate today voted to impeach Interim President Vladimir Gurav. Gurav announced that he would step down as the Interim President for the proceedings of the impending trial.
Gurav, in sworn testimony, finally announced his purpose in deploying troops. "We deployed the Special Forces units to Boomness in the hope of improving relations by providing tactical support and information in rooting out rebel terrorists," Interim Pres. Gurav said.
Protestors denounced Gurav on Democracy Hill. They were accompanied by Essendian visiting professor Dr. Ferdinand Reoali, a professor of anthropology.
