Cretal City, Cretal(CFP)-

The addition of a Military Science major to the National University has created quite an uproar. A teach-in on nonviolence and alternatives to war drew an estimated 3,000 of the school's 35,000 students from their classes. Democracy Hill swarmed with protestors, who denounced the addition of Military Science to the curriculum.

The University President was unavailable for comment.

The United Socialist States of Chicken Island will be delivering three of it's top professors from the People's University of Lexingrad. The three professors have extensive backgrounds and are renowned for their assistance in many social affairs. They are listed below.

Katherine M. Moore - Aeronautical Engineering
Dr. Rupert M. Treece - Chemical Engineering
Anastasia Pulonova - Environmental Engineering

Please take good care of them, for they are a national asset. They will be visiting you for six months, and they should be arriving by aircraft within two days.

Cretal City, Cretal(CFP)-Three visiting engineering professors from Chicken Island were greeted by a jubilant crowd at the Capitol Airport today. University President Elena Mustaev stated, "This is a most surprising and excellent move by President Mikhail, and the National University warmly accepts the exchange of ideas these visiting professors will surely foster."

However, a dozen protestors gathered on Democracy Hill, holding signs and claiming that the professors were going to be used to expand the military.

The professors were reportedly "shocked" at the greatly expanded political freedoms of the Democratic Republic of Cretal.
