Pirate Ambush - Capsule Read
Near where the Capsule Fleet w/ their Flagship was located, the TKS Abomination sent out a distress signal in the direction of the Capsulian fleet. Itself being a converted freighter, it should be able to pass off as a civilian vessel. Working together with the God's Wrath guild, with, albeit having weak weapons and shields, have functional cloaking devices, they are attempting to lay ambush to a Capsulian vessel. 3 Tugger class ships, cloaked, lay in wait, while the Abomination, also a Tugger class ship, continued sending the distress signal.

CCBG-1 *The battlegroup you are near*
1 Kryptonite Attacker Foldship: CCSS Kryptonite
1 Kolob Class Carrier Foldship: CCSS Kolob
[code:1:ef5f3dfc1c]Not included in this fight... yet: 6 Omni-Class Hyperships: CCSS Legacy, CCSS Aiwa, CCSS Skipper, CCSS Alto, CCSS Luna, CCSS Kershaw.[/code:1:ef5f3dfc1c]
4 Tachyon-Class Hyperships: CCSS Tachyon [Attack configured], CCSS Comprasa [Dropship Configured], CCSS Israel [Scout Configured], CCSS Northgate [Explorer Configured]
The Following are not chloro-borg adapted, but are still part of the battlegroup:
36 CCF-7, 36 CCF-16, 36 CCF-11, 36 Legolas (Actually, 4 of each of these are Chloro-Borg modified)*The 1st Capsule Corporation Battlegroup patrolled the Galactic core, watching over the many Capsule Dig Sites and micro-colonies in the core star systems.*
Officer on the Flagship Kryptonite: "Sir, we are receiving an urgent distress signal. Orders sir?"
Commander: "Let's go for it, we haven't seen any action in a while, lets scare off whoever is messing with this poor transport ship. Order the whole Battlegroup: Fold the kryptonite and the Kolob there immediately, the smaller frigates can stay here, and Hyperspace in if they are needed."
"Aye sir."
*Moments later, the 2 relatively large foldships in the battle group defold in a flash of light near the distressed ship*
Officer: "What's the deal? There's just one ship?"
Commander: "Hail them."
Officer: "Done sir."
*In transmission* Commander: "This is Commander Thomason of the Capsule Corporation Flagship Kryptonite. We received a distress call, What is your situation?"
OOC: The ship isnt sending any textual or nomial distress call, just a broadband SOS call, without any name attached to it. Also, can you give me the specs of your vessels?
IC: The Abomination sends no signals back, acting as if it were a ship powered down with no communication abilities. In order to act as if there was a life support issue, they enabled an O2 vent on the side facing the Capsulian ships, to show a brief air burst. The GW guild ships waited in cloak, for a signal.
OOC: Sorry, edited, and here:

Officer: "No response sir."
Commander: "Send a shuttle to investigate."
Officer: "Away team gathering, will launch in 5 minutes."
*time passes*
*A Small Celestial-Class shuttle launches towards the 'distressed" ship, carrying a boarding crew of 12*
OOC: Are your power relays on the outside of your ships or on the inside? Most ships do outside because of the fact that power relays generate large amounts of EM interference that could be harmful to the crews.
IC: The signal is done. The Abomination begins firing it's entire volley of missiles and rail guns at what it hopes are vital components of the Kryptonite, while 2 of the cloaked ships uncloak, and launch 3 Wraith Fighters each (they jam stuff targeting them unless they are firing themselves, which is when they are vulnerable. Too bad they have fast refire guns, they are almost always firing.), and then begin following in the Abominations footsteps by firing alltogether at the Kolob's systems.
OOC: All electronics are heavilly shielded because of the massive Rail Guns on the Kryptonite. before I go any further, can i get some basic stats on these ships and their weapons?
OOC: Power Relays are part of the main power system. Quite important, yet usually quite vulnerable. Shielding them would cause an EM fluctutation, basically reducing efficieny.
OOC2:
Tugger class Freighter - Converted Cruiser Totenkopf variant:
Length: 687m
4 Scimitar medium fighters
5 Anti-Capship missile tubes.
6 Side-rail guns
Tugger class Freighter - Converted Cruiser Gottzorn variant:
Length: 687m
Optical/Sensor cloaking system
3 Wraith stealth/light fighters
4 Anti-Capship missile tubes.
4 Side-rail guns
http://www.kuattech.com/ship.png
Scimitar class Medium Fighter
Length: 12m
2 Image Recognition Missiles
2 Meson blasters (optimized to damage armor)
Wraith class Light Fighter
Length: 8m
Medium-strenth turret jammer
2 EM Blasters, designed to cause electronic components to sustain damage (think of static shock, on a much larger scale, to a PC chip)
OOC: Well, i keep forgetting these are borg-modified... yeah, there would be power nodes and relays on the outside, but they do have shields.
Also... How about stats on the ships? like um... at least length?
EDIT: OOC2: EM weapons will have nearly no effect, the electronics are Highly shielded, like I said... not energy shielded, I mean like EM shielding to prevent short circuits and interference by all the high-powered weapons
*The kryptonite rocks as a Laser bank is hit, disabling the power circuitry to the whole bank of weapons*
Commander: "Shields up! battlestations! Fire at will, all targets! launch all fighters!"
*Almost immediately, 10 Super-powerful Rail Cannon slugs fling out of the Kryptonite, kicking it back a little, but launching the total force of a Capital ship collision straight to the so-called distressed ship, which should almost destroy it immediately* *The Kryptonite engages its engines and starts on a pass of another ship, firing a bank of lasers at it, which would probably tear the small ship in half*
*36 CCF-7, 36 CCF-16, and 36 CCF-11 launch from the two foldships, and immediately begin launching missiles and firing blasters and lasers at whatever targets they can find.*
*The Kryptonite comes around for another shot.*
*The kolob sists in the background, holding its shields on full*
The carrier pod (one of those long tube like things on the pic) is destroyed by the blast, utterly disabling the ships main power systems, including life support, until the power can be rerouted.
The 2 uncloaked Tuggers continue firing their batteries of weapons. While firing, the Tugger that was fired upon takes a series of hits to it's bridge, creating an explosion that rocks down the central pylon. The ship then ignites in a bright fury, but the explosion knocked the heavily armored fusion core directly towards the Kryptonite.
*The shields and armor of the Kryptonite take a good number of hits as the Ship flies circles around the other freighters, firing a full volley of rail cannons at one target on each pass, while firing Laser banks at another target simultaneously.*
*The 100+ Fighters easily swarm around the Pirate starfighters, probably taking them out witihin seconds, and continue to fire volleys of anti-matter warhead missiles*
OOC: And did the fusion core do any damage?
OOC: And did the fusion core do any damage?Hmm... almost missed that... but what does that mean? A big reactor is comming at me? ooh... I'm gonna be irradiated... not... if it were overloading and gonna blow, that's one thing, but all it says is there is a fusion core coming at me... what does that mean?
It is a fusion core that has been disconnected, tripping some very old safety measures, and probably shorting it out, meaning that it is ready to explode in nuclear fury.
Officer: "Sir, there is a jettissoned fusion core in the area from one of the damaged ships, its energy levels are on the rise!"
Commander: "Ok, we've had enough fun... these guys are now getting desperate, lets get out of here!" *Transmits to all* "All Capsule Ships, full retreat immediately, explosion immenent! Follow kryptonite to rendezvouz point alpha 312 mark 217 z12. Now!"
*The fighters fire a final volley and then bug out, flying away from the area full speed* *At well over half the fighter's speed, the kryptonite plots a simple course out of the fight at full throttle, blasting away from the freighters, firing Lasers and rear Rail Cannons as it leaves the scene.*
The fighters and foldships quickly gather into a tight area, not docking. The Kolob had already been charging its fold drive for an escape. They would be out of here in less than 30 seconds.
The remaining functional Tugger, sustaining heavy fire, continued it's barrages of weapons fire, but against the Kolob instead. It fired on what it hoped were it's vital systems.
The fusion core exploded, but luckily, the battle had moved far enough away from it so that it interfered with sensors only. The Abomination, unfortunately, had not moved, of course, and was immolated in the blast.
*The Kolob's weak shields buckled under the fire, but not in time to cause any damage to the Fold that was now taking place. A sphere of energy surrounded the entire battlegroup and moved them back to the place they came from, a good 12 Light Years away*
OOC: Sorry to bug out like this, but hey, no sense in sticking around. Maybe you can say one of your ships managed to get caught up in the fold and came with us... but surely it would be destroyed. on the other side by the total battle group.
OOC2: Sorry if this is a double post, forums being gay
The two remaining Tuggers (one remained cloaked thru the battle) flew off towards the galactic fringes, upset about such a waste.
OOC: Well, i guess thats the end of this... but maybe a new conflict :) I'll probably expect to see more of these in the future.
