Wintrees "Future Today" exhibition

25-10-2003, 14:52
"Hello Bill, I'm reporting live from the exhibition hall in New Nepal, wintrees. We've been present at the Future Today exhibition since it kicked off 3 days ago. There has been a lot of interesting presentations and stands set up by both the government and the Private section, but by far the most interesting is the "Star Stream" project.

Cut to pre prepared video

"The Star Stream project is Wintreess' 1st steps towards a fully fledged space program. It’s an 80-year project riding on the back of the USA efforts to send spacecraft to Mars. It is an ambitious project, which is hoped to result in the construction of a 'Super-Star craft’, which we can only guess, will be named Star Stream. It is unconfirmed as yet where the Wintrees government got hold of this sort of technology and we believe it is still in the extremely early concept stages. The Design brief shown to us by the contracted research company states it is to 'construct a star craft which has uses in defence, exploration, and diplomacy.'" Questions to Dr. Frank low, the lead designer in the project have reviled that construction of the star craft is planned to commence in roughly 60 years, after smaller missions to the moon and mars have been completed. He countered argues over the viability and worth wildness of the project by stating that technology researched during the concept design process is already showing promise in the mining of metals and construction of atmosphere skimming aircraft."

"The Government of Wintrees also states they are on the look out for partnerships and grants for the project. They have however yet to release any planned stats for the star craft. Although no where near to a working space program as yet, the nation of Wintrees seems to be taking the 1st spents into the future, Julie Winters reporting."

The Republic of Evopia was wondering if your Nation would be interested in buying our Drop Podding Technology ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85103 http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85321)
if interested we will state the cost
25-10-2003, 15:09
The nation of Wintrees is interested in this Technology as well as the possibility of inviting Evopia into a research pact to uncover more advance technologies that would benefit both nations technology advancement programs.
25-10-2003, 15:12
The Republic of Evopia Agrees Readily to this Proposel and if a research pact is agreed then we shall half the cost of our drop Podding technology to 100mil
25-10-2003, 15:18
The research pact is agreed, however the drop pod sale must be reduced to 50 million, in turn we will wire the money as well as plans for atmosphere skimming aircraft which could be, in concept, modified to carry these drop pods, this technology will be shared with Evopia and therefore free.

Evopia Agrees to this and Signs the pact

Looking Good;
Due to the Patnership our two nations share The Republic of Evopia has allowed you usage to our Space station THE EVE OF DOOM :twisted: ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85103 )
From which you will ahve full access to the Outer Space drop podding ability.

P.S A team of Dispatch scientists are currently on the the way to WinTrees to aid you in D-30 Atmosphere Skimming Craft Research/develpmet area

We thank you for your kindness in respect to both the use of the space station and scientists, and in turn we are extenting our end of the research pact to new defence applications and tactics uncovered by the 1st Drop Marines Regiment during their testing and trials of the new tech.
