how do you keep track of what kind/how of military you have?
Write it down? ^-^ That's what I do, anyway...

MS Word is your friend.
I made a post that has my military on it and whenever i buy stuff i edit that post :)
I just make a notepad document for all of NS, i got a copy of my storefront, my military equipment inventory, military organization, troops, training information etc.
I use Notepad so i can just copy paste stuff from that into the post say in a war game or something like that it works great.

I have six Text Documents on my military,international relations,national income,and other randomness.

I keep several Microsloth Excel documents (one for each branch of service and another for all services) listing merely the numbers and equipment designations.
I also have a Microsloth Word file where I put in detailed descriptions of the various equipment. Whenever I upgrade military equipment, I sell off the outdated versions.
