This satellite is part of the new Markovian national missile defense program. The system is called OAPDN (Orbital Anti-Projectile Defense Network). The OAPDN satellites have a variety of tools with which to shoot down hostile objects. For slow enough targets the system can use high powered precision lasers to knock out the navigation system of the target od simply destroy it. The satellites also use Hyper-Velocity- Long Range- High Manuever Missiles or HVLRHMMs. These missiles have a max speed of mach 12.78.

The satellites are also armed with Magnetic Accelerator Cannons, commonly known as railguns that fire 35mm slugs of steel rods at very fast targets. These rods are able to travel at up to mach 50. For offensive purposes these satellites can also be armed with conventional delivery systems.
