We stopped our activities for 2 weeks, in oroder to stay low while we were re-arming and re-organizing.
We now have more weapons and much more equipment, and we are more than ready to carry out our plans.
We also have a good terget.
Of course we won't tell you which nation is it, but you may know we have one.
Almost all of the members are in the underground (we have about 120,000,000), and they all just wait for the commander's word...

Even terrorists need support. Whereas nations need industry, terrorists need fundraisers, intelligence officers, planners, people to run safehouses, people to acquire weaponry. If those people are actively involved in terrorist operations, they lose their utility. They run the risk of becoming known to counter terrorist forces, and thus becoming a liability because by their nature, these people have access to a wide range of other members. Killing a terrorist doesn't hurt a terrorist organization because there are always more. Killing one of the support personel really hurts them, and capturing one alive can be devastating.

Yes, we are an organization.
And CCCP-USSR, when I say "underground", I don't mean an actuall underground system of tubes or such.
Also, McLeod03, not all of the members operate in a single nation, but all over the world (there are terrorists in every nation, it's not impossible, it's probable).
If you'll read my message history you'll understand exactly what is this organization and what is it doing (for example the New Genoa and Soviet Trasa incidents).

OOC: What I do for my terrorist nation, that I think died, is that I say that, its' population are its' supporters. and yes, you can have more people in the army (Like 10%), but they will not be as well trained or equiped. It is a balancing act, in a terrorist orinasation, the more men in the army, compaired to your population, the worse the soldiers are going to be trained and equiped.

we'd like to say that We are effectively shielding ourselves in, and making sure that nothing disrupts our saturday-morning cartoons.

Today in the central city of Guevaragrad, members of The Altaranian Internal Security Force stormed an apartment, and arrested several men who are believed to have connections to a known terrorist group: The Secular Resistance.

We have been informed that at approximately 9:30am, the building was locked down by local police, and some small explosions were heard, along with the sound of several gunshots. We know that 7 men have been arrested, one apparently having been shot in the leg. The men have been transported to Grange Maximum Security Prison, where they will be detained under the nation's Anti-Terrorist And Dissent laws.

The Government has released no further information at this time.

The individuals that our counter-terrorist forces arrested earlier today have all admitted to being a part of your group. They have not yet responded to....methods....of interrogation designed to discover their intent, or why they were in our nation.....but we have found suspicious items in the apartment in which they were residing. The objects include several (banned) automatic weapons, what appears to be a dispersal mechanism generally used to release biological or chemical agents, and numerous pieces of DSRO propaganda. We expect an official explanation for what these people were doing, and why they would do such a thing.

The men are due to be sentanced tomorrow, on the strength of confessions and evidence discovered.

The men have been charged with several offences, including Ownership of Unlicensed and Unlawful Arms, Conspiracy to Commit Espionage, Ownership of Unlawful Items, and Conspiracy to Spread Dissent and Unlawful Propaganda.

Needless to say, the sentance incurred under Altaranian law for perpetrators of these crimes is that of death.

You are quite welcome to lodge a complaint or appeal against the expected result of the trial....

At around 10:30am today, the seven men who were arrested in connection with terrorism charges, were sentenced to death by firing squad. All seven of the detainees were shot before lunchtime.

They were all confirmed dead by military coroners.

In other news, the ISF has stepped up its counter-terrorist operations, in response to the evidence that was found in connection with these men. So far, one more home in southwest Gueveragrad has been raided, although we have recieved no further information on the arrests or operation.

Last night in a stunning mogve of display, Andurian military police flushed 7 DSRO members out of hinding, using a brutal method known as "rush in and shoot wildly around the room".

The man have been interrogated and have been found to not have committed any acts of terrorism yet. But officials say "we have...outdated tor...i mean intterrogation methods."

They are to be handed over to Euroslavia within the week.

Akhtendum wishes to bid on the open market for this 'lieutenant'. Name your price. He shall soon wish he had never been born.
