OOC: I don't know much about platonium or how much you need for a nuke.
ooc: the standard nuke needs like 30-50 lbs of uranium. the actaull specs you could find online, but the other parts, i'm not sure what else you need other than a houseing for the bomb. (this is cheap uranium!!!)

Why anyone would be foolish enough to buy uranium, I don't know. A good number of nations start out with it, and even if you don't, there is an issue that allows you to mine it, just wait for that.
Because some nations don't belive its realistic that EVERY nation in the world has a Uranium deposit, everytime I see that issue I mine it, but I assume it is a different element. . . its effective, and it works.
